Tiny Thai grocery store run by a super sweet couple. Despite its size, they have all the essentials you need. They may not carry 50 different brands of a particular sauce, but they carry the most popular and the best one. The owner treated me like family, guided me around the store and taught me about many of the thai food ingredients I wasn’t familiar with. His wife even hand-wrote me their family green curry recipe! And they also gave me a lot of jasmine rice to try for free because the owner wasn’t impressed with the brand I had at home! Lol! You can tell they truly care about their food and their customers :-)

It has those hard to find ingredients for your favourite Thai recipes. The younger staff are very nice and polite. The older woman can be curt. Do not go there 10 minutes before closing, you'll be rushed out.

Small grocery store for a selection of Asian goods, the owner has a fantastic Thai red/green/yellow curry recipes. Has made my dinner recipes a lot better, absolutely recommend going here to stock up for your next Thai meal!

Wonderful little grocer that has all kinds of Thai ingredients I haven't been able to find anywhere else. A huge plus is that the woman that runs it was extremely helpful when I had trouble locating ingredients, which has not been my experience at some other ethnic grocers around town. Will definitely return next time I need any Thai ingredients.

Lao-Thai is my new go to! David is so knowledgeable and encouraging when it comes to his products and Thai recipes in general. Prices are great as well! My new go to product - Thai curry "flavour packs" (everything you need to make the best curry!) keep it in your freezer and you can have restaurant (maybe better!) worthy curry anyday of the week!

Great little store, the shop sold kaffir lime leaves(frozen) and galangal ginger(dried). These two ingredients were hard to find in regular stores. Come in take a look, it was just like stepping into a Thai store.

My wife (a Thai citizen) and I shopped at this local business today, and were greatly impressed! David and Suzie (the owners) were so helpful, and they stock high quality Thai ingredients that we are so pleased to find locally! Incidentally, their Wuhan Virus protocol is top notch; the door was locked after we entered, and no other customers could enter until we left. Payment by credit card - no problem! All in all, a superior shopping experience at a business owned and operated by a fantastic local couple! We highly recommend the Lao-Thai Super Store to one and all!

The owner was so friendly and helpful in planning out a menu for our Thai-themed dinner! He spent an hour with us picking out all the ingredients and giving us instructions for how to make it as authentic as possible. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the mood for making Thai food!

The owner David was extremely friendly and helpful. Top notch covid protocol, they only allow one customer in the store at a time. That being said, I did not feel rushed or unwelcome in the slightest. David helped me find everything I needed and I finally have some good galangal to use! I will definitely be back.

Great little shop. First time there, and was quite impressed with some of their products. They carry some products that we have not been able to find at some of the other Asian stores, as well, their fruit is the absolute best as it comes directly from Bangkok... freshly picked and right off the plane instead off a truck after days of travel from the U.S. like other stores. My wife and I will return, especially to pick up those hard to find items that we have only been able to bring back from Thailand when we go home.

Seems to be the best place to go for thai ingredients not stocked by other grocery stores. Authentic products and hard to find produce that will give your meals alot of added flavour. Very friendly and helpful owner. Nice to have a place like this in the neighbourhood. Definitely will be going back.
