I go to here from time to time. It’s well known, a popular place not only that it’s the only Korean proper grocery store in KW area, but also all foods are good with reasonable price although I wish the store has more stuffs and gets bigger hehe. I literally recommend you to try Toppokki here!

Love this place! I was originally brought here with a Korean family friend and since going there for the first time, I've been back many more times. They have a HUGE selection of products that will make any Korean feel right at home. I'd recommend checking it out, you won't be disappointed

Horrible customer service. Unfriendly and rude staff, they are demeaning and plain rude especially if they know you’re not Korean. The shopping experience is very unpleasant, from the moment I walked in I was treated with discrimination, watch full eyes but no greetings and looked down on as I was checking out. It was so bad and left me feeling so upset/unpleasant. Also, no covid-19 protocols were practiced in the small space — no distancing, no customer limits, no sanitization. It’s sad because this is the only Korean market in K-W and I was so happy when I discovered it. :/

It's a fairly small grocery. Has a family run feel to it, though I'm not sure if this is the case. Lots and lots of Asian snacks here. Not so much in the way of any produce- think more, convenience store style.

Great shop with friendly service. Small produce section with fresh ingredients that complete some meals: banchan, fresh perilla leaves, young leek, green onions, peppers, radish & burdock. Lots of homemade Kimchi - delicious! They also have packaged seafood, meat, noodles, snacks, many sauces (great price on okonomi sauce compared to T&T). Love going here!

Being Korean, I wish it's bigger than it is now but I'm thankful that we have at least one in town. I don't shop here a lot as there are not many options but I always buy Kimchi here. I really love the taste! I go to Toronto or Mississauga sometimes to get Korean food and do grocery shopping but I don't buy Kimchi from the bigger stores I go. After trying many different brands, KW Korean market one is by far my favorite.

In Kitchener we do have a few other Asian grocery stores. But this place has all of the things that they don't offer that are specific to Korean food. The prices are good and they do have in bulk many of the daily Staples that you would want for Korean food. It's enough but you can avoid most trips to Mississauga. You can get 90%of what you need here.
