One of the store we visit often. Many fish require pre order or inquiry before purchase. However what you get is sushi grade stuff. NEVER come on Tuesday. They probably start getting stuff in on Wednesday and Tuesday really don’t have enough stuff.

Just got home from Mike Mundell's. The seafood is always fresh and the take-out is delicious. Just last week, I had an unusual order for live periwinkles, and the owner Donna made me a special order for a fair price. They came in today, and I can't wait to try making them tonight. (I swear I'm not secretly an employee. I'm just a really happy customer.)

Our first experience at Mike Mandel they didn't have any beer battered fish so we purchased the regular battered fish and found a lot of extra batter the fish itself was delicious I just like the fries but I thoroughly enjoyed the onion rings but next time I'm going to ask for a separate box for my onion rings because they put them under the fish and it was very flat overall I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and I had a Lime Crush something I thoroughly enjoy we found the prices to be very very affordable two meals two drinks $28 and we used a 10% off coupon that came in the mail we will return to Mike Mandel's thank you

Best fish and seafood I have found. Fresh products, helpful staff that will cut selections the way you want. And unlike the overcooked cooked shrimp that most places sell, theirs are consistently perfectly cooked so they are still juicy.

I ordered a dozen ready to eat shrimp and a small amount of crab meat blend. The shrimp was delicious but the crab meat blend was so dry it was not fit to eat. I can only assume it was so old it dried out. I called approximately an hour later (voice mail) to advise them they should take it out of the display unit and dispose. I left my name and phone number. It's been almost 2 weeks and no response. "What about your promise to the customer" MY comments are still the same as they were months ago. Until I receive a call addressing my criticism of the crab meat blend I cannot give a better review. I have since returned and purchased other product.

Ordered oysters twice now and oysters are so far from edible. There and shell pieces in all of the oysters. I had to wash all of the oysters because of how bad they have ruined them

We read all kinds of good reviews on the food so we decided to try it while we were staying in Ontario. Worst mistake. We ordered 2 family packs of the beer battered haddock. The haddock was blacker and dryer than anything I've ever had that was supposed to be fish. Fries were the coated frozen type so nothing to get excited about there either. Nasty. No wonder it was so cheap.

Had traveled in from the Deep South (not Windsor) to cook a seafood gumbo for 40 souls trapped at the Napanee Power Project. Was able to source most of the fresh seafood at Mundell's. Very accommodating and stayed late to allow us to keep our schedule.

The first time i ate at mikes it was WONDERFUL! i mean absolutely astonishingly good. Im an east coaster so i was impressed. Today, i went to get more for my wife, my mother and law and myself. The beer battered fish seems to be the boxed frozen variety. It looks and tastes burnt. Come on guys. I certainly know you can do better.

Purchase 2 lobster tails at $25 each. After thawing one smelt so bad that we dared not have it. Shell was lighter colour than the other and meat was already starting to go opaque. I double bagged it and put in freezer hoping that I will hear from them. We are local and shop here often due to the quality we always get but this is a game changer to us. Hope to hear something . They were out of french fries, they were supposed to give us onion rings and mozzarella sticks but we only received onion rings. The fish was almost burnt and OILY. The onion rings were inedible as they were very oily and not crisp at all.. The attitude of the serving staff was like yhou were putting them out and they turned away a customer at 5:45 when they close at 6:00. Not impressed!

Good variety of fresh seafood to cook at home. They also do take out for fish and chips and some other fried options and everything is delicious. So far my favorite take out is the fried calamari. The only thing that I was a little unimpressed by was the price of lobster tails, but to be fair they were quite large.
