This is my favorite story for pet essentials. The staff are super friendly and always willing to answer questions. The quality of their dog foods and toys is excellent. Their prices are very reasonable and they are willing to make substitutions or order in items if out of stock. The local, contactless delivery system has been truly amazing during this COVID situation. Plus, it is nice to support a local business that does so much for our community.

These guys are great and all so knowledgable and friendly. They allow pets in there and they eve provide air rated water and treats for your fur babies on hand. I just got these two matching shirts for $19.99 each. Currently you have to call ahead and they will meet you at door when u arrive . Their prices are comparable to the big name stores and sometimes even lower. Be sure to stop by with your fur baby. They will live you for it and so will your wallet.

I got a dog collar there and on the FIRST walk with it on it BROKE! My dog was pulling to go run to a squirrel and the collar SNAPPED OFF! Now I am not even from around Kingston so here I am with a broken collar and no way to return it (16.99$$) Plus we called the store and the worker was being EXTREMELY RUDE and said we can only return or exchange if we go all the way back to Kingston. We offered to send a photo of the receipt and the collar but she said they don't have a manager and the owners are never in. Not impressed.

Awful staff had this snarky rude vibe to them. Two women (working there as i type this) were so snarky and fake, how they got their jobs is beyond me. One had their hair up in a bun with glasses dark hair on the stout side wearing a pink shirt. I felt unwelcome and will no longer shop at this place.

This small& a little unknown pet supply store on Brock St dwntwn between King and Wellington Sts is amazing. I do believe it is privately owned. It's unique location and layout inside are very welcoming and homey you might say. The staff is super friendly, and very knowledgeable. I love this place, as do my furbabies. Who always receives lots of pets and cuddles from staff and healthy treats( with owners permission of course) they have all sorts of items for daily need of pets big and small. As well as some very unique home decor or gift ideas. Although sometimes some items may seem a little pricey, for the most part their prices are competitive with the bigger brand name pet stores in the city. But the personal service you receive is above and beyond approach here. Which more then makes up for the few higher prices. And your pet is always welcome. Before you run to the brand name stores, give this little beauty of a place a try. You won't be sorry.

Lovely little place for some pet shopping! Staff are very friendly with humans and animals alike. Their prices vary; they have very affordable treats, but their toys I usually find too expensive. I like to stop by with the dog when we’re walking downtown and pick up something tasty to take to the park, or home.

Great little store in downtown Kingston. The shop is well lit and walls are packed with as much pet paraphernalia as you could want... If you have a dog that is. I found their cat selection relatively small compared to other pet stores, though what they do have is diverse and good quality. The staff are caring and attentive and give away plenty of free samples.

Love getting our pet food from here. Theyre well priced and deliver on such sort term notice. I asked if they could deliver our food on a saturday and they were right there the next day with our order. They were also super nice about allowing us to work our rescue into getting some more solization in the store and getting used to not being so scared of people. We will continue to support this store for as long as it is around

My dog has a lot of allergies so shopping for him can be to difficult, but the staff at Birds 'n Paws are always awesome at helping me find products that I can actually use for my pup. They even do deliveries so I don't have to carry 12 kilograms of dog food around with me!
