It was good the plans were nice and fresh and well taken care of a little expensive but other than that it was really nice these the staff was really friendly and very helpful yeah it was a nice space I would get all my plants and garden stuff there then Walmart or other places like that all the other places their plants look horrible and not taking care of properly like Walmart Superstar or Canadian tire their plants there they didn't look that well we're top crop they have a lot of professionals that take care of all their plants and gardening needs so I highly recommend top crop to go to

The prices are expensive compared to other places, but they do have a good selection. The seasonal staff look like they are trained to smile to the customers to hide their lack of experience. The owner is a serious business type. He is more concerned on fast sales than quality consumer service.

I've been purchasing from Top Crop for years. All my previous trees have rooted and grown over the years, as I've lived in various parts of the area. The trees I bought last spring were doing fine, but didn't last the winter. I inquired about taking them back, but was told that they"can't just give away trees, if they did it for me. they'd have to do it for everybody". I thought they guaranteed their trees for two years if you buy their grow bundle with the trees ( which I did). This time, I was told that because I didn't buy their warranty, I would not get replacements. I'm very disappointed in this establishment. I've never heard of buying warranties for trees, it was the first I've heard of it. I will never step foot in Top Crop again. They have a large selection...but do not guarantee their items they sell, and they are overpriced. Never again.

The part of the store with pet supplies have very rude and insecure staff that enjoy dirty looking you for no apparent reason and being very stuck up. Get a personality people. I do not go here anymore for dog food.

Poor customer service today . went in looking for xmas gifts and not really sure what we were looking for was informed that i had to wear a mask or curb side pick up as i told her that i was exempt from wearing one and she told me mask or leave. I wished he a merry christmas and a happy new year and left and got nothing in return she was very rude and very judgemental. Will NOT ever be shopping there and have been a long time customer from back when they were at were peak performance is now

Customer service from one of their managers/floor supervisors was rude, invalidating, disrespectful and condescending. She demonstrated a lack of accountability for poor judgment; spoke to me with her back turned towards me, while inferring that I didn't know what I was talking about; and overall damaged the relationship and loyalty I had for the store. I feel very disappointed and disheartened, as Top Crop had always been a place where I felt like a valued customer.

If I could rate this business minus 5 I would, which is unfortunate since up until now I would have rated Top Crop as a 3 to 5 star business. For the first time I had a problem with a purchase and was extremely disappointed by the owners unprofessional rejection of my claim. I purchased a 100 foot by 4 foot roll of landscape fabric which was marked as having been UV protected. After installation I had to wait three weeks before I had mulch to cover the area but the fabric disintegrated (literally turned to dust) within this less than three week period. When I drew this to the attention of Top Crop I was informed that the owner would not replace the product, indicating that it needed to be covered with mulch immediately upon installation. The product does't say this and other landscape fabric I have used is still solid after years without cover. I understand that UV will shorten the product's life but given it was marked UV protected and had an over 15 year life it is clear that this product was defective ... it hardly lasted 15 days never mind 15 years. I have shopped at Top Crop Cranbrook for over ten years and spent almost $4500 this year alone. The response from the owner to my concern was not only disappointing and insulting it was also a confirmation of the mean spiritness of this business. The product was either extremely inferior or it was flawed ... I'd like to think it was the latter since I always felt that Top Crop provided good quality product. If it was the later, I would think that a wise business would want to ensure that they didn't sell more of it and would rectify the situation with their supplier. Given that this purchase represented less that 1% of my spend at Top Crop this year I'd suggest that treating a customer this way is very short sighted ... since Top Crop has a local monopoly in some areas I will be forced to continue to buy from them but I can assure you when I have other options (and there are other options in much of their product line) I will go there. So ultimately Top Crop will loose a lot more custom than the $40 this item cost not to mention the negative publicity any time someone asks me about this business. .

We were on the program with Canadian natural pet food . Buy 10 bags get one free. They refused to honor the program. W were buying the best Canadian natural pet food and they only offered a discounted price. Just one of many rip off's at Top Crop. We're finished with them

First time coming here , and last time. Was met with nothing but hostility and rudeness. We were sharing how excited we were to be gaining plants again because we just moved here from ontario and I sadly had to leave my plants behind. It shocks me people don't know there own provincial laws when it comes to covid. She gave us a dirty glare and stated " shouldn't you be isolating for 14 days". I was overjoyed with happiness to be getting plants for my new home , and now I am super irritated and won't be stepping foot there again. They definitely lost a customer that would of been very valuable to them. Wendy needs to learn a thing or two about customer service !

Had a concern about a maple tree I had purchased from Top Crop as the tree was exhibiting bare patches and wilting. I called their store and spoke to a representative who encouraged me to submit my request to them via their email with pictures. The rep reassured me that I would be contacted by their experts in a timely manner. I never received a call or email after a week, so I called a second time and spoke to another rep who apologized & promised that my inquiry would be addressed. Again, no response from Top Crop. I called one more time (third time) but still didn't receive any response. I researched what might b causing the problem with my tree & ended up diagnosing its ailment. Usually, I have received good service delivery from Top Crop but this simple inquiry has left me disappointed. I' m left with the impression that either they are making too much $ to provide this support on one of their products or have internal staff issues unclear on the concept of satisfactory service delivery. There is nothing "Top" about how this was handled.

** PROFILING ** I was just in their store shopping for myself and I had my wife who was in Saskatchewan video chatting with me on my phone when I found myself approached by a gentleman accusing me of "scoping" out their store and security system to possibly shop shift. He claimed with my appearance (shorts, carhartt sweater with my hood up and torque on also my mask required due to covid) I was suspect enough to assume I would shop lift or carry crime out at a later time. NEVER DID I THINK ID FIND MYSELFNIN THIS SITUATION... I was simply passing my time well my company vehicle was in the shop getting repaired, I'm one to shop local no matter where I go but after this experience I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANY TO SHOP HERE!!!

Among the rudest staff I have encountered and not very knowledgeable about their plants or plant care. I had moved across the country when I arrived here and had no houseplants and needed to do a lot of landscaping. I have been going to Top Crop for most of my needs but, apart from the outdoor garden staff at the main location, they have consistently been rude, everything is overpriced, I've had a few plants come with pests on them, and a big expensive tree die. My husband even refuses to buy dog food at Top Crop because they were so rude to him and we don't even bother going to the Kimberley location because everyone there treats customers like they're a nuisance. I brought in what was an expensive houseplant that died of pests and they (Jen) was so unhelpful, rude of my circumstances (it can be difficult for me to make arrangements to get to Cranbrook), and wouldn't even acknowledge that there was a possibility that it came from the store with them (which exotic plants often do). To top it off, the cashier was then nasty and sarcastic towards me. That will be the last time I check-out at Top Crop. Honestly, you can find a lot of the same plants at Home Depot for much cheaper (even 1/4 of the price!) and somehow survive better than Top Crop plants. If you want native plants just go to Nupqu nurseries, the staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
