We came to Kimberly for the Bavarian restaurant and with regret we found it closed, forever. We ended up with "The Shed" and the beer and food were amazingly tasty. Also the location was very cozy and friendly. We'll be back for sure!!

Great selection of beers. Relaxed atmosphere. Often open when sister restaurant "pedal and tap" isn't. And kids are allowed, even have a kids menu. We often go after skiing for lunch or a quick dinner. The food is excellent, not the average pub food. Large portions.

I come here too often, but that’s probably just a sign that I never want to leave. It’s my favourite pub to hang out at, and Kim the manager is an absolute delight and I love seeing her, her husband and their dog Murry often when I go. Sunday’s is sheddy bingo and it’s loud and it’s proud. A ton of fun.

We were at the Platzl and just randomly stopped here for a quick bite and drink with 2 kids. Small quaint place. Waitress was very polite, prompt and knowledgeable. It's not a full course meal, but the kids enjoyed their wings and nachos, the wife and I enjoyed our "boss hog" and "the farm went up in smoke." I had Cider on tap. I will definitely be going back.

Nice place to go for a casual bite to eat and/or a beer. I got the smoked tofu sandwich (Smokehouse) and it was delicious! The tofu was actually super yummy. I also got mexi-tots, which are also great. Would recommend!

Honestly the Shed is a gem. Really a great BBQ joint, their brisket and pulled pork rival what you would find in the City. Their house sauces are some of the best I have ever come across. They seemed to take COVID seriously and I appreciated their care to keep a clean and safe environment. I highly recommend, and wish their business all the best.

Great staff, good beer, great decor and location, good cooks. But for the menu and selection I give it one star. Tater tots and basically no vegetarian options. Come on. Be better than this. I realize that tater tots and $23 for cheese nachos is high margin but time to move your menu ahead a decade. This is why people check the P & T for a table before going to your place. Keep the wings and open face greek pita. Toss the rest.

Second choice to eat as the Old Bauernhaus was packed full (they recommended the Shed). The Shed was also full but made room for all 8 of us within minutes, ending up with 13 in all on the deck. The food all looked and tasted delicious. I had the Shepard's pie and it was fabulous but when our fabulous waitresses brought it to me I thought it was a sample size....not very large....an the side salad was even tinier. Great variety of beers on tap but unfortunately no bottle beer and no Budweiser prohibition. I found the prices a bit high but I'm from Alberta so it's the norm anywhere in this beautiful province. All in all it was a very cozy, friendly, nice place.

We got some of the sandwiches and sides for dinner tonight. It was our first time enjoying their food, and it definitely won't be the last!! We had the pulled pork and brisket sandwiches with some ceasar salad and mac n' cheese on the side to share. All of it was delicious but especially loved the Heifer sandwich! So much flavor! Highly recommend!! Sorry, no pictures, we ate it too fast after enduring the amazing smells on the way home haha.

This place is so over priced its rediculous. A small plate of tater tots is $11.50 we got it with about 2 spoonfuls of pulled pork ontop for an extra $7?? Talk about ripping people off..$18.50 for a plate of greasy tatertots With hardly anything on them?? JOKE!!! They were so under cooked every single one fell apart when you tried to eat it. The $12 sandwich i ordered, that come with no side, had neither of the 2 sauces it was supposed to have on it. Super un impressed. The lightning was so horrible i could barely see my plate. Everytime someone left the washroom door open we had to get up and close it because it stunk sooo horribly, while we were eating. This was the first and last time i will ever go there.

When I go to Kimberley we do go the Shed for a nice little lunch. The food has been quit good in the past. Today the food was beyond excellent. I was quit impressed with my meal, and my husband was very happy with his meal as well. Excellent service as well!

We were trying to find some late dinner and settled on The Shed since there a few restaurants that open late. It is listed as a "Mexican" restaurant on Yelp but it's more American pub food with a slight "Mexican" influence. We ordered the cod and a salad. Both were average, salad was a bit overdressed and cod was drowning in the tomato sauce. All in all not a terrible experience as the service was pretty good. However, don't come expecting authentic Mexican food.

I read the reviews prior to stopping for a late lunch and beer at the shed. Getting To the point food was good, service was abysmal. Could not get the waiters attention for a second round in a 50% filled room. I feel sorry for the owner having staff that do not attend to the patrons.

Oh my word. Before discussing the food the staff was wonderful. The atmosphere is great and genuinely enjoyed my time here. Now to the food Holy $%@k I have never had a sandwich in a restaurant as good as the heifer. It was so good I almost didn't want to finish it because of the ensuing sadness from its absence on my plate. I paired with the Mac and cheese which was also top notch. Seriously though try one of their sandwiches and thank me later

We really like it here. The vibe here is great, the servers are always awesome, and they have the best dark beer on tap, BACK HAND OF GOD. So good, if you like dark beer. Patio is in a great spot for those warm summer days. They even have a small library and games corner to pass the time away, I suggest blokus (I think it is called) great fun. Food is also great here, you won't be disappointed. It can get loud in here, which is awesome, but if you are looking for a place to have a quiet conversation, evenings here on the weekends would not be the best spot????

Great service, food and view of the Platzl, but the backless stools (which are the only option for seating other than outside on the patio), quickly grew uncomfortable and made me want to leave sooner than I otherwise would have. Would be 5 stars had it not been for the uncomfortable seating.

Are you a vegetarian? Do you love locally produced craft beer? Then this is your place - great vegetarian options (of course lots for meat eaters too) and wicked beer menu with local offerings from the nearby brewery. I recommend the calzones, or the smokehouse sandwich. Pub grub - elevated!

Went for dinner last night after work and I was impressed liked the feeling - sorta rustic and fun. I had the cubano smokie and wow it was so delicious. Also the house salad was just the right amount and very fresh. Would recommend and would eat there again!
