Our successful buyer came to us organically from a personal connection, but that was just lucky. We did get multiple offers and sold slightly over asking. The appraisal completed by their provider was off by $125k - $175k and we are certainly glad we did not rely on it alone.

I found the whole experience to be pretty simple. I felt supported above and beyond the service we were paying for. The only part I was unimpressed with was their Vancouver based appraiser. We were selling a 3 year old home and he used a 50 year old house as a comparable and a house built in the 90s. Neither of them were similar to our house. I contacted him with my concerns and he told me he would list quite a bit over his appraisal price and take the closest offer. We ended up hiring a local appraiser for a refinance and their price was much better and didn’t compare our three year old house to a 50 year old house. Overall, I would use property guys again for sure but would have preferred to not get the appraiser from the Vancouver dude.
