Food is ok? Portions are small but you get all you can eat fried with the fish and chip meals. We had breaded mushrooms a d the middle was still frozen so not appealing at all. Best day is Tuesdays for all you can eat fish and chips, by far the best deal!

The food is very good. I had the Pacific Cod and chips. Also 6 6 breaded shrimp. They are a little bit pricey but for what you get. I also found out that you can also call about having your order delivered also. I ordered out the one off Panet Road. I do have to mention that the fish portions are much too small. Especially what you pay.I ordered the north Pacific halibat, the most expensive fish on the menu a was disappointed by the size.

Very disappointed this time. We go there often. My husband and I went last night no wait restaurant maybe had 5 tables full pretty empty with numerous people working. We were seated immediately there was food on the seat which I cleaned. After 15 mins our waitress finally came to take our order and drink order. We ordered a appetizer and garlic shrimp and crab legs for main course. Another 15 mins goes by we get our drinks and another 2 couples come in. Another 25 min go by nothing but the new couples that came in well after us got their main course we are still waiting on our appetizer still no sign of our waitress as they were all huddled in the kitchen area talking. Another 5 min another waitress gives us our appetizer it was good. At this point we were hungry flavour was ok very watery. 10 min after we finished our appetizer our drinks were empty our original waitress finally came as we didn’t see here since we got drinks. She came over to collect our appetizer dishes and asked if we needed anything else we looked confused she took off 2 min later she gives us our bill I go we haven’t had our meal yet????? Now it’s a hour later. Meanwhile all the other people that walked in well after us were eating going on desert. Annoyed now we said we ordered did you forget? She quickly ran off to the kitchen asked where our meals were they Sounded confused so they forgot. now a hour has passed. the staff again huddled in corner talking?! 10 min goes by she comes back hands us plates with a few shrimp on each says sorry kitchen miscounted the shrimp we are making more? My husband tried one spit it out I tried one horrible cold tasted rubbery like they were in a microwave no garlic butter sauce as we ordered plain no spice at all. The carrots were soggy very over cooked my crab legs were cold under cooked. Waitress came back I told her she was very apologetic said their food is frozen!!!! There’s newer staff they were trying to cook it fast?. And the crab legs probably not boiled enough. Rest of shrimp we were supposed to get with our meal were luke warm no better rubbery tasted freezer burnt. The meals were taken off our bill as we never ate them. they tried to give us desert or another meal I told her we didn’t want to wait another hour or more. Or be forgotten again. For a half empty restaurant and enough staff this was unacceptable. We used to love this place never had a bad meal. After Last night, the staff change lack of service because talking among each other is more important then your customers we more likely will avoid going here. Being told everything frozen not fresh tastes like it ! cheaper to buy my own cook at home. This place has gone downhill last year quality ain’t there

Went there last week. Restaurant was dirty..food on the floor and the table was very sticky. We asked our server to clean the table but they didn't. This location is very inconsistent

Sorry guys but way underwhelmed this past visit. Order made wrong. Politely " corrected" but was still wrong when i got back home. At least i got a partial credit when i called back. Quality is iffy at the best of times but thought we'd give them a chance.

Of you want good quality for a lower end seafood place this is it. Went for all you can eat because we hadn't had fish in a while and were craving. It was fresh and hot. Pieces are a bit small but good flavour and not too greasy like some places are.

Brutal. Phoned ahead at 4:00pm for a 4:20 pick up. After arriving exactly at 4:20 I end up sitting there for 20 minutes in a half empty restaurant. When i finally get my order i specifically ask, as im handed the bag, "there is tartar sauce in here right", to which she replies "yes", without hesitation. So i get home 5 minutes later and of course, no tarter sauce at all. On top of that the fish was overcooked and cold and had fallen apart into numerous pieces. The shrimp was rock hard, burnt, and tasted like charred breading. Just a total let down on a Friday night dinner with the family after craving fish all day. Second time ive been to the Regent ave location and the first time the in restaurant experience wasn't much better. For the prices they charge you would think the quality would be much better. Not going back to this location.

We had a local coupon to buy one get one free but could only use it for one type of fish which was horrible( the cheapest) It felt slimy and way to much batter. Guess you can't expect a decent meal on a bogo coupon. It actually inspires me to go to discover more of a local fish and chip restaurant, for I won't be returning to Joey's anytime soon.

I went to Joey's last nite worst meal I have ever had order 7$ mussels half cold some not warmed at all soggy not good ,,,,, then server brought 3 pce fish chips the fish was thin I mean hardly any fish an batter hard an chewy tough to eat 2 pces cool 1 kind of warm with little more fish in it an fries barely hot most cool.or cold ,,,, server asked as I complained about meal if I wanted another order mussels by that time I was done ,,,, server said new management ,,new menu ,, she said lots of complaints from customers over this issue ,,, if this your plan from what food used to be at this Joey's probably last visit,,,, long time customer disgusted

I've been to different restaurants in the city and not all are equal. My favorite location is at Lagimodiere and reenders. Also good food and prices are reasonable. Service can be a little slow when they are busy.

Have been ordering here regularly - today we received smaller portions that usual for our sweet potato fries with the meal and the extra on side. Called the restaurant and the manager was completely dismissive - only clarifying that is the size and too bad. Good food - love the Tacos, but will not be getting any food from them again.

If you want to go for a seafood meal, do not go to to Joey's on Regent. My family just took me there for Father's day lunch. It was absolutely the worst dinning out experience i have ever had. Cod fish was like rubber, my clam chowder soup was cold. The fries over cooked and only a dozen fries on my plate. The only good thing about it was the company. Oh and ya, no manager or supervisor on duty. Cooks not wearing hair or beard nets. So anyways good luck with your next meal there. ????????????????????????????????????????

Thrifty Tuesday at Joey's, but had the cod all-you-can-eat for 16.95, much better than the pollock, at least I found it to be so. The batter was much lighter and the fish was tasty right to the last piece number 7 or was it eight? Prices have increased about 10% this Spring, but what hasn't....
