This is where I do my grocery shopping. Location is perfect and l always get more for my dollar. The prices are very affordable. There's a couple of staff that think they are better than you but don't let that keep you away. I think most stores have at least one smart mouth.

I dont often go to FreshCo as its not in my routine. Superstore was out of strawberries (in strawberry season) so i saw FreshCo and stopped in. Nice, bright, clean and everything laid out easily to see and i saw very competitive prices. Not only did they have lots of strawberries but they were high quality AND ON SALE!! Lots of great produce and baked goods. I'll be back.

Oct 2020: Similar to a recent review, I also went to FreshCo on a morning to get some light groceries at a decent price while beating the weekend grocery crowd. I pushed my cart along, moving from the bakery area over to the back wall where the frozen foods stuffs are. As I was about to turn the corner, there was a woman (who I would assume is the manager/supervisor, was wearing one of those gray FreshCo staff polos) standing in the middle of the pathway talking with another customer. I try to veer to my right to squeeze through the chatting ladies until the staff stops me and advises me of the arrows marking the direction of traffic in the store (due to COVID-19 policies) and that I was walking the wrong way. She was being rather harsh, for a simple mistake I've seen countless people disobey in any grocery store by now. But quietly, I followed her tongue lashing and went on my way, but boy was I upset after that. Ruined my shopping experience at that store. She did not even end her conversation with the other woman after that! They just continued their conversation!! Might I add that the two ladies were definitely NOT social distancing while chatting and blocking the walkway. Sure, I made an error not following the store's flimsy arrow-system, but that does not make Ms. FreshCo Staff completely exempt from doing whatever in her store. Utterly appalled by her actions. Be a real shame if she got sick from her careless actions in the store. Your mask won't save you from everything, ma'am! Will stick to shopping at No Frills from now on. This store lost my respect.

We started coming here a few months ago. Pretty impressed by the prices, freshness, a selection available. The import isles are what really sells it for us. Found some great products we enjoy everyday now, and others as a fun treats. Staff have always been helpful and friendly.

They have social distancing in place. Can only have so many people inside the store at a time. However when I watched at least 20 people leave the store they are still making us wait didn’t make sense to me. Asked what are we waiting for and was told they let more people in by mistake. So my question is are you following social distancing rules in place or not?! If your following it should be disciplined and set number of people should be in and out. And if not are you following harassment policy based on who is in front of the store waiting. I will avoid this store till they sort out what they are doing. If you can’t follow a simple rule on how many people to let inside the store, how are you maintaining cleanliness and disinfecting in the store?!

This is my go to place for majority of my groceries. Layout is easy to go through. Staff is friendly. FYI there is no self check out or hot foods but that doesn’t reduce the rating for me!

Best Healthy Water

Their prices are amazing and cheaper than most grocery stores. Because they are cheaper the turnover of the food is so much faster making it fresher than other stores.

Not the biggest selection of items. I went in looking for a specific style of peanut butter in a large size. I ended up going next door to their sister store to find it. I get it though, discount grocery stores keep their pricing down by stocking fewer SKUs to maximize shelf space for high volume items. It's worth checking out, but don't expect to find the same selection as higher end stores.

Worst produce I've ever seen. I also don't know who thought it'd be a good idea to try to sell plants in this condition, at any price. Painfully ironic, given that "fresh" is literally in the store's name, and yet these dying plants and dried up, shriveled produce are the first things you see when walking in the door. I went to FreshCo this morning at around 8:15 and one of the employees (assuming she was some type of manager/supervisor) was speaking to another employee who was elderly very abrasively about the bread labels facing up. I’m not going to support a business who’s managerial staff can’t treat their employees with dignity. Her voice sounded like a didgeridoo pitched up sixteen octaves and it ruined my shopping experience.

I love this store because it's clean, well stocked and very organized. I look forward every Wednesday receiving my FreshCo advertisement emailed to me as I know there will always be a handful of items that I will go and pick up because of the amazing price being offered... The only issue I do have is that I find the store staff not very friendly or approachable. The cashier's though seem very professional and for the most part have a smile on his or her face... But overall, of the major 5 or 6 grocery chains in the city, I would say FreshCo ranks at the very top for me...

Generally decent pricing. No loyalty program = savings on items. Produce is replenished in bulk so you need to be mindful while picking your fruit and vegetables. Due to high volume purchasing by the company, their promotional pricing can be very low on select items.
