Great place with lots of selection. Every freshwater and saltwater fish that you can imagine at a very reasonable price. Their fish are as happy and healthy as can be. They also have lots of supplies for all of your aquarium needs. The owner is also extremely knowledgeable and willing to help anybody, even if you're not buying anything. I would recommend that you check this place out if you're interested in fishkeeping. This is definitely the best fish store I've been to.

Kind of in between on this place.. looked like some cleaning could have been done, and the cichlid prices were quite high.. however the owner was pretty nice.. he mentioned me being in there without a mask, to which i mentioned that i do have a medical exemption and he was quite reasonable. I may check this place out again in the future, and will change my review if i find things to be better

Could be a little more cleaner but there is a mass selection of fish in both saltwater and freshwater. Usually a pretty good selection of coral on hand too. Also if your looking for equipment you can find it here. Other than the store being a little cluttered I like the owner too as he's also one to build you a custom tank or sump of any size in really amazing quality for a reasonable price.

Beautiful Fish and good service. But every time I buy fish from here- at least one of the new fish has an ICH outbreak. Make sure you do a two week isolation of any new fish from here or you may very well have to treat your whole tank- which is costly and a hassle.

I attended the store on July 29 2020 to purchase a Betta fish. A couple of fish caught my attention but price was not listed. Place was not super busy. One customer was being attended to so I patiently waited. Another worker/owner told me that he would shortly be with be. 30 minutes later I was still waiting and couldn’t wait any longer, so I left and bought a Betta Fish from Kildonan Pets I was not kept waiting indefinitely. Very poor customer service. I would not recommend this store to anyone

This place is in the middle of major renovations, so they have very few fish and it's really kind of a disaster. From the looks of it when the renovations are complete it's going to be great, I spoke with the owner and he indicated that he switching over to have more fresh water tanks and fewer saltwater tanks. Which is probably a good thing given the people that are in the Hobby in Winnipeg.

The owner and his assistant are pretty knowledgeable in the fish-keeping trade. The prices are pretty fair here. As for the actual shop itself, it’s pretty cluttered and disorganized. All in all however, this guy basically has it all.

Shop there quite a bit as i've recently bought a few tanks. I love the selection of fish and how clean the tanks are, Owner is always help and knowledgeable. Will continue going there as other shops almost always try to upsell everything.

Fish tanks were full of algae and the Betta jars were so dirty that the bottom of the jars looked yellow. There were also some dead bottom feeders (maybe Pleco's?) floating in a tank that looked as though they had died a long while ago. I did not speak with the employee about the condition of the tanks. There was also evidence of new tanks being built and even some that appeared to be cycling (prepared for fish). The employee was polite and let me know that a new shipment of salt water fish were coming in soon and to ask if I had any questions. With the current state of the tanks I'd hesitate to buy any livestock but the selection was good and I may go back again in a couple of months to see if they've cleaned the place up.
