Only here once. Had halibut and fries ,and ,an order of 1 piece of haddock. It was all quite good. Only complaint is that , for my taste , the batter was a bit too thick. It was cooked very well though. Prices are reasonable and service excellent. I will go back.

Prompt service, friendly staff, delicious food. I've had the fries and onion rings repeatedly since childhood. I can't personally comment on most of the other food, as I am a vegetarian, and very selective in what I try, but my family loves the food. For my family of four, I spend a bit less than $40 for a very satisfying dinner. It's a small restaurant that used to be housed in a chip truck on the same property. They've adopted a quaint seaside theme and have a small dining area separated from the waiting area and counter. There's seating in the waiting area for added comfort. They also have Interac as a payment option.

Terry's is a local institution. The best fish and chips, period. Getting out of the truck was a huge upgrade! The dining room is small so don't expect to sit in with a big crowd.

Chip truck food in a restaurant environment, the food is amazing! The poutine is made with love, it's not your cheap run of the mill bland poutine. It's a layer of fries gravy and curds, topped with another layer of fries gravy and curds. Nothing but poutine goodness in every bit. You can really taste the bacon and cheese on the flame grilled burger. One of the best burgers I've had! Such a great place to eat and wonderful staff!

My wife and her family had lunch at this great loca restaurant and we enjoyed the food so much. We tried the special "once around the ocean" and it was great. This place is also conveniently located next to another local gem, Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream shop. I highly recommend this place.

If you haven't been to Terry's Fish and Chips, You Need to go. The BEST Fries in The World. They have been a staple in downtown Lindsay since I was a kid. Same recipe, known Winner. Also they have a Dedicated Gluten Free fryer(just ask for Allergy Fries) and no issues. If you get them "to go" your car will smell Amazing for Weeks.

Terrys quality and service is excellent, the food is very good for the price and every employee is happy to receive people's orders. If covid wasn't as bad ATM some additional benches there allowing people to eat their great food and finish off with some kawartha dairy ice cream would be an ideal first date or family day out.

Very good halibut & chips. Chips were a nice light colour which I am told means clean oil in the fryers. Building appeal is not a 10 but very clean & tidy inside with very nice owner & staff. Serve good food & the people arriving for " take out only " were non stop, which says it all.
