Very friendly staff. I have shopped at many other pet stores, but nothing compares to Phil's. They have incredible knowledge when it come to what your pets needs are in order for you to successfully take care of them. When you walk in here it's not just a regular pet store, you can tell they treat each and every exoctic creature as their own. I will not shop elsewhere anymore.

Always make a visit to Phil's Pets when we are in Lindsay. Staff is amazing, helpful and friendly. They are extremely knowledgeable and go out of their way to assist you. This is a large place and they have lots of stock from reptiles to fish as well as hamsters and all the products to go with them. Even just to browse its a great place. ????

Way overpriced. Was looking for new Zealand sphagnum moss for my Venus flytraps. Can get It on Amazon for $9.99 here it costs $23. Not worth it. Seemed like alot of stuff was double priced. Store is super cluttered too and saw lots of dead fish. No point in going back.

Phil's pets is one of the most unique stores in the greater Kawartha Lakes. What you are looking for they will have or order it for you. From exotic fish, snakes, rodents, spiders, adorable bunnies to geckos plus plus...feed and seed...tanks ....seriously just go check it out !! Friendly staff are willing to help you with all your questions. If they dont have it, they will get it or tell you where to get it. Enjoyed my walk through. Worth the trip.

An overwhelming amount of supplies for any pet related quests you may be on... Our first time there within 5 minutes of opening showed all staff there on time, straight to work right away and not afraid to answer any questions or offer help! The back of the store seems to be where some of their used items come in and get examined which can be why others may find clutter. I found it comfortable inside, and I could have spent 2 hours inside just looking into their aquariums and terrariums! I will be sure to return soon with my wife Kaily as we were extremely pleased with our service.

Save the time, money and support local instead of going to "big name" pet stores that don't know anything about reptiles. Definitely cheapest crickets around too. Tons of different types of worms. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Always a great experience!!Great prices! I love Jules and Phil! Love the parrots you get to talk to going through the store! I love Abby too she is really good with my kiddos, well they are actually all great with my kiddos!! Either you cant lose walking in there always a great find and great deal!

Just stopped by here for the first time in 5 years. Very cool selection of lizards and small animals, cool aquarium set ups too. Prices are reasonable and they have a decent selection of pet products. We purchased a few items for our bearded dragon, we were happy with the quality and prices. The store was in a state of shambles when we lived up there 5 years ago, and that much hasn't changed. Lots of stuff all over the place, looks especially bad if you are coming in from the back doors. A bit of tidying up would go a long way to make this place an even nicer stop
