When you walk in To the shop the smell is AMAZING. Tony looked after us. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and did it all with a smile. We picked up a peppercorn steak, stuffed chicken breast wrapped in bacon and shrimp skewers. We loved everything. Absolutely delicious!!!

Fantastic place, super service and fresh, locally sourced product. The only butcher we've been hitting inside the Lindsay area since they opened. Went in one day looking for something that is hit and miss in other butcher shops; beef ribs. Not always available in butcher shops, and if you get there on a day they're out - most places will say "not today" and off you go... Farmers Butcher Shop took a different approach and said "how many?" Then pulled a side of beef out of the freezer and got to work. Business earned for good. Fresh, local product (they can tell you the farms their meat comes from) and friendly service - these guys are such a bonus to have in town.

Great people delivering quality product. If you don't see what you want on display, just ask. They will usually be able to make it for you on the spot. I bought a brisket here and it was absolutely amazing. They cut it off and trimmed it on the spot and only took about 10 minutes.

I was calling around, looking for some beef bones for our GSD puppy. The days of finding a true butcher shop are few and far between these days. I was told they had, fresh, bones available. We are Torontonians, spending significant time up north. We love, fine meats, love a real butcher. Until now, we have always come up with our cooler full of meats and such from the city. Walking in to this shop, the warm greetings we received, the cleanliness, the display of quality was clearly evident. Wide variety of meat, poultry, and many other choices. Steaks with nice marbling, at reasonable prices, locally sourced products. After 25 years of coming up north, We FINALLY have a DEPENDABLE, REAL BUTCHER UP NORTH❣️

We always shop at the Farmers Butchers Shop they all the meat products and unique marinades and spices and great cheeses and they always surprise you with new products and you can get eggs and sour cream and good cakes and pancake mix and maple syrup great turkey burgers and great perogies they bring in baked goods from the bakery and the people are so happy and friendly

You gotta meat here!! Farmers Butcher Shop is THE best outlet for locally sourced meat. Blackened chicken?--can't get enough of. My hamburger patties have never tasted this good since I began buying their ground chuck. The grocery store meat selection pales in comparison to this place. Once you have tried quality cuts of meat--you can't go back. And the prices are reasonable. What's not to like? Customer service is above and beyond. On the rare occasion I have walked into the shop and they don't have exactly what I want, Anthony has suggested alternatives that have incorporated well with the recipe I was planning on preparing that night. Picked up a full brisket, service was excellent, staff friendly. shop immaculately clean. Meat was beautiful, asked how I was cooking it and trimmed accordingly. This type of service is not available in Supermarkets.

I have always purchased all meat from a butcher, sadly not all butchers are equal! I have been a loyal customer of Farmers since their opening. There has not been one product that I’ve been unhappy with. The staff is friendly, helpful & very knowledgeable. Their meats are worth drooling for. I stopped making my own hamburger patties because quite honestly, theirs are just better. Try out some of the condiments they carry or the horseradish which has a place at our table alongside a beautiful prime rib dinner.
