Taj is the man. We were a bachelor party, and we're very thankful. We got pretty routy and they didn't kick us out! Had zero luck on the lake though. Out of like 15 guys, i think we only caught 30, and 6 of us were experienced fisherman. Had a great time nonetheless. Taj and his wife were great, and the nice gal that ran the restaurant during the ice season, was awesome too!

Had an amazing time out on the water with my 3 daughters ages 9 - 14. Ive booked a lot of fishing experiences over the years and sometimes you are greeted by an old salty fisher person that can be short on the phone. Not the case with Caseys, a very friendly lady takes my reservation and answers all my questions regarding the experience. I call back to verify my booking 24 hours before hand and again courteous lady takes my call and assures me that everything is set up and ready. The gentleman that took us out on the hard water was as courteous as the person taking reservations. My guess by the reviews was that this was Taj the buisness owner. We got out on the ice quickly and safely after a brief check in at the office. Dropped off at the hut the heat was set the minnows poured into a bucket and we were fishing. We finished the day with approximately 70fish, we do have a counter but i'm not sure if my daughter adds in the odd click. Many of our fish were over 10". We couldn't have had a better experience. Most fish bit on clam glow jig with a red jewel attached, mix of minnow head or whole minnows. I have seen the reviews negative reviews regarding padding benches windows etc. First we were glad to have padded benches, two of my daughters enjoyed a nap. Windows?? There is a window on the door but in my experience with ice fishing we love it dark esp when sight fishing. The hut was warm. There are corner shelves for small items, A long shelf running the width of the hut which was useful for warming gloves or socks. Heat source doubles as a cook top if you so choose however we just brought easy no prep food. Long story short we loved it! Perfect family outing! Cant wait to come back and give it another go. Love the family ownership experience!! Pretty sure we met Husband, wife and possibly nephew? See you soon.

Went to Casey's with high hopes. Restaurant on site was ok. Unfortunately that's the highlight of the day. Transportation out was not only late for mechanical reasons. The hut. The worst I've ever been to. No windows. Only one burner on stove worked. But was full of holes that wind came in. Minnows were about 1" long. Nothing to use for bigger fish. Overall not a positive experience

Came here Saturday morning, had an amazing day. Even though we didn't catch much everyone had a great time. One of the workers would even regularly come check on us, and would drive us in the argo to the outhouse because it was a very slippery walk!

With all the other ice fishing businesses in the area, STAY AWAY from this one!!!! Was promised 2 overnight huts and paid $200 per person for it we were shoved into 1 hut for the day and moved to alternate cabins for the night. FOR TWO DAYS! Constantly packing and moving and never been given our booked cabins frustrated the weekend. Coupled with having to sleep in "day cabins" where 2 people are expected to sleep on bench wide tables with 3 disgusting couch cushions to share between the 2 of us, no lights in the cabins, no hooks or shelves to store, a disgusting double propane burner for heat, and to top it off, the propane running out on the middle of the night during a wind/snow storm on the lake, with no response from the management. Taj the owner is somewhat friendly but over charges for his service, and also misrepresents what Casey fish huts has to offer. We will not be coming back and definitely suggest that you stay away! Visit lucky sons, they do it right!

We had a great day fishing with Casey's last week. The staff was very friendly, huts where warm and clean. The kids had a blast catching perch and herring. I will definitely be using there service again. Highly recommend.

Casey’s at port bolster is up and running for 2020 ice fishing season! Wonderful to see Taj as always! You’ll find here hut rentals for the whole family and for the anglers bringing their own gear Taj can arrange a shuttle to and from the fishing grounds! I enjoyed my ice fishing trip at lake Simcoe. I tried different operators in recent years but with Casey it was amazing. Owner mr Taj was very friendly and he tried his best to make our trip successful. Definitely from now on I will go to them each year.

Ice fishing was fun, but service not so much. We were a party of 5, and they wanted us to squeeze into an old (and I mean very old) SUV, which they drove out onto the ice. On top of that, they didn't pick us up until the very last minute, and not responsive to phone calls either. There are other fish huts in the Lake Simcoe area that are better in my opinion. Edit (in response to owner's reply): We were actually quite shocked when we heard we would be going to the huts in an SUV, versus sitting in the back of the shed that you were considering towing together. We didn't go to a different operator. This was my personal experience with Casey's Fish Huts in 2018.
