Really enjoyed my meal. I had chicken parmesan with spaghetti. The chicken parm was flavourful. The spaghetti was cooked perfectly. The sauce was pretty mild spice-wise, but flavourful. Service was good.

Best resturant in Kapuskasing I've been too yet. Excellent interior decor. The service phenomenal and friendly. Waitress was all alone in a busy resturant and didn't miss a beat. Food. Fantastic. If you're looking for a place to eat in Kapuskasing this is the place to go.

The 4 stars because this is not what you'd expect on Highway 11, and the points are really for the food. The breakfasts are very good, but I fell into the doorway 1/2hr before closing to note the specials were quail and bouillabaisse. I had the latter and was very impressed. The fish and shellfish were tender, well complimented, the broth was loaded with flavour and the bread; fresh. As for Decor?(there is none) It looks much like any roadside restaurant only cleaner. Wine: pedestrian, but that's what you'd expect in a joint without any pretension. All in; I'd recommend Papa Franco's to my best friends without hesitation. Consider yourself a friend!

NUMBER ONE spot to stop during cross country trips. Right on the highway, GREAT FOOD, large portions. We have drove from Alberta to Ontario several times over the years and Papa Francos is always planned into our route!!

The manager at this place is sooooooooooooooo nice! We were looking for a place to eat because we had just bought a new trailer, so we ate here and the quality of the food and the time that they put in it is amazing. When you do that, the flavors really come out. Mouthwatering. We were looking for a place to stay, so the manager said that we could stay in the lot at the back. That took so much stress of us. They treated us like family. From us three Thank you so much.

We were just passing through beautiful Kapuskasing and looking for a quick local dinner spot. The desk lady at our hotel told us about this place. The foot was AMAZING! Seriously! Fresh cut fries, fish had a deliciously seasoned batter that was light and tasty, and the club sandwich was truly decadent! Highly recommend this place! Very reasonable prices. The service was excellent!

You know it is good when you see the dining room packed with locals. The menu is full of variety and yummy dishes including breakfast options, sandwiches, pizza, pasta and full dinners. I had the Philly steak which was quite flavourful and filling. A must when you visit Kapuskasing.

Loved it. Food was excellent with great choices for appetizers and drinks and specials and desserts. Staff is knowledge and friendly. Not a large wait between courses and with such a nice atmosphere you enjoy sitting and talking with your friends instead of being on your phone. Nice place to bring out of town guests. Will be going more often.

This was truly an amazing find in Kapuskasing. The restaurant is very clean, the service was flawless. The food arrived in good time and was very fresh. We enjoyed the filet and rib eye steaks, which were cooked to perfection. The quality of the beef was outstanding! And very reasonably priced. This was one restaurant I would eat at regularly if I could! Thank you Papa Franco's, was a wonderful evening.

Wife had the pizza and I had the burger. Both were really good. When it came to the crepe it was a different story. Special request was to add Nutella or vanilla custard if available but instead the fruits were omitted and just a plain crepe was offered for $8. Was a take-out order.

The service was great, quick. Was seated accordingly. Their papa's burger is exceptionally delicious. The Quebec style poutine was good. The atmosphere feels welcoming and great. Would recommend checking this place out if your after a quick bite to it.

This place has been a yearly stop during a fishing trip. Food is outstanding. Wish this place was closer. I would definitely be a regular. Thanks for the great food. The poutine was out of this world.

SFood is good. Not impressed with managements complaint that the blinds had to be closed because it cost too much for a/c. I picked this place because i knew it had big windows and it was a beautiful spring morning. April in Northern Ontario. Maybe 10°c outside. Get awnings and better window instead of making your customers eat in the dark.

SPOTLESS!!! ... This restaurant is probably the cleanest restaurant my husband and I have ever seen! And for that we give them 5 stars. We both ordered burgers and a large poutine to split a coffee and a pop. We were shocked to receive our burgers cold which was a big disappointment because the actual burger meat we could tell tasted good but the burger was hard to enjoy because it wasn't even warm which was weird, as a side note the pickles are sweet which we weren't used to, they charged .59cents extra for pickles but yet we had the tomatoes and hot peppers taken off so you would think it would balance out? The fries were excellent , thick cut, real fresh fries and huge compared to other places, the shredded mozza on the poutine was good but lacking, the gravy was excellent .. The poutine was hot , a few minutes later the waitress brought an extra bowl of fries for us which was nice! We would have rather had our burgers first nice and hot, then cold ... and would have waited for the poutine, if that was the reason for cold burgers. Also the burgers were slightly small, not enough bacon or cheese on them but the lettuce was great , green and fluffy. Our bill came to 30$ plus tip which isn't too bad if you had a nice HOT, bigger , burger. They have a really cool authentic wood fired pizza oven , which the waitress and probly owner let us go around the counter to look at it, she was very nice and welcoming and didn't look at the receipt to see how much we tipped which was nice and polite! We will definitely go back and try the pizza, and probly the fish and pasta too, they stand by fresh ingredients, and even though our burgers were cold we will go back just because it was perfectly clean and we were left with a good impression! Usually when we get horrible food and service and pay an arm and a leg we are left in a bad mood...but not this time so we will go back and try again.
