Nice place right near downtown Jasper. Souvlaki was good, steak and Ceasar salad was ok, nearly tasted like a Ceasar. But the prime rib was bad. Medium well was fine, but the medium rare was more fat than meat. Don't get me wrong though, I love fat, but even that was too much. If you're gonna order food, stick to the simple stuff. To top it all off, after ordering, the server didn't come back at all until we had all finished, yet the place was next to empty.

Very nice outdoor patio, delicious food and good service. We ordered the seafood fettuccine and the jambalaya penne and thought it was really good. Perfectly cooked seafood and amount of sauce. Portions were smaller than you would expect, my husband was still hungry. Service was friendly, quick and the best on the patio was awesome!

We went to this restaurant 5 years ago. It was great then. So we decided to go back. Their food is still amazing.!! My husband loved his prime rib. I had the Salmon, I think it was the best salmon I've ever had! Even my broccoli was good! As for out drinks, my husband had a Folding Moutain Lager, witch he said was really good. I had a Long Island Ice Tea. Witch was good as well. The staff were super friendly they seat everyone staggered so you are not right next to someone. I highly recommend this place.

Good food but slow service. The slow service comes, no doubt, from all the extra work the staff has to do to keep up with all the COVID-mandated requirements for cleanliness. That said, the food was wonderful (my prime rib was excellent, and my wife enjoyed her shrimp and salad). Much better food than many of the restaurants we visited in Jasper this past weekend.

Absolutely divine. We are in Jasper on a mid Winter vacation and have been here for the week but wanted something other than pizza and wings. We had the Greek chicken souvlaki and the ribeye steak dinner. I asked for some garlic bread with my steak and I don't think she even charged me for it. I would recommend that if you are getting steaks get it done a less tempature as it sitting makes it cooked over what I ordered but not their fault. I highly recommend this place if you want a delicious yet affordable dinner that will leave you satisfied without being over fed. Very impressed.

The waiter was not very knowledgeable about the drink menu. No specials were offered to us. We only received one menu and no time to even look at it before we were asked what we wanted. We ordered Mushroom caps for an appetizer. They were not the best we've ever had. Because we had steak the previous night, we ordered pasta for supper. My lasagna was quite good. The cheese on my garlic toast was cheddar and not mozzarella which I found strange. However my husband's serving of pasta and meat sauce looked like it came off the children's menu. We had 3 drinks between us and our total bill was $92 and change. A bit pricey in my opinion for 2 pasta dishes. I would not recommend this restaurant.

We were in 3 couples and it came exactly what each ate and the amount to pay. I found it fair since I don't like wine and whoever drank paid more. (Original) Gostei. Had to rate it a three due to the main course steaks ????. The entrees started on such a high, Pita and Tzatziki and the Wings with Thai Chilli - delish! We ordered two Ribeyes for mai and were convinced to change one to the 14oz Prime Rib - bad idea. They sold the prime rib as slow cooked (that’s all fine) and that it would be seared like a steak. It was not. It felt like a slow cooked pot roast prime rib and was not seared on the outside and so did not meet any steak expectations. It was more like a roast. Such a let down ????

Awesome restaurant on the Jasper "strip". We did takeout from here. It was a large order and they were accurate, ready for pick up at the quoted time and helpful getting it packed up so we could easily transport it back to our hotel. The pizza was a huge hit amongst our group - a must try!

The food was good and our server was great but the whole experience was ruined by the owner, who bit our head off and said she didn’t need customers like us. This was only because we made a comment to our server about a couple of typos on the menu, not to criticize but just so they are aware for future printing. The owner belittled us and ruined our whole dining experience. Everyone is better off spending their money at a place where the owner doesn’t snap at you. Go to Harvest Food & Drink instead! It’s far superior

Both of our meals were excellent (chicken parmesan and BBQ spareribs), and the service was prompt and professional. I hadn't heard of this restaurant before, but will now make a point of coming here next time we're in Jasper.

We asked for a table for 8 for 8h30 and we were called 30mins before our “reservation” and were told that they gave our table away to another group which didn’t have a reservation. They apparently don’t work with reservations (which we weren’t made aware of when we went to “reserve”) and basically call when a table is free, so why didn’t they call us when our table was ready? Why did they give the table away? Pretty strange, but we’re polite so we went to ask if another table was going to be leaving soon and we were met with a rude attitude. I will admit, we weren’t happy. They did not seem to want to answer our questions. They clearly didn’t want us to dine there. What a shame, the food looked good:/ Moreover, our family proceeded to finally eat there without us, and the owner ended up insulting us to their face by calling us bossy and rude. As you can see in the last sentence of her reply below, she is continuing to do so. This gives you an idea of how she treats her customers. No wonder there are so many reviews on Trip Advisor telling us how rude she is.

Ordered a Lasagne and house salad as a takeout for my girlfriend who was unwell and at our B&B/homestay. The restaurant itself was very nice, friendly staff and a nice looking menu but sadly the comfort food I'd hoped to bring home was pretty terrible - Lasagne with very little flavour or filling other than lots and lots of layers of pasta with a cheese top. Very little sauce/bolognese and very little flavour.

Well, where to start with Karouzos, I'll try to be as quick and simple as I can. This was our first visit to Jasper and our last night in town after an amazing week and I honestly don't think we could've picked a better place to cap off a wonderful vacation. The food was phenomenal, the service was outstanding even being shorthanded, and the free shots of Ouzo to celebrate our anniversary were pretty damn good. My sinuses have never been clearer! A very heartfelt thank you to our server Elena (I hoped I spelled your name right) and god willing we will see you again next summer!!

Wonderful restaurant with a view of the mountains. We had the Lamb and the Alfredo with shrimp. Both were fantastic but what you really need to try is the Mushrooms Neptune! It was so good as an appetizer, we debated having it for desert too! The staff was absolutely fantastic and inviting and they knew their stuff from cook on the meats to the pronunciation of the dishes. My only complaint was that the bathrooms had a few stalls out of order but from what I understand, they had just reopened after being closed for a bit so that might have been something they were working on. Do not miss this one if you are in Jasper or even just passing through!

Unprofessional staff and low quality food. My friends and I visited this restaurant and each ordered a steak entre. I ordered medium rare for my sirloin steak. When the steak came, one end of the steak was at medium/ medium-welldone, and the other end was rare/blue. Only the middle 60% was actually medium rare. My friend's medium steak was at medium rare. And my other friend's medium rare new york strip steak was 40% medium to medium-welldone on the sides and the middle was medium rare. We nicely asked the kitchen to remake the new york strip as we are paying good money for these food. The waitress ended up came back with the same original steak and said "the kitchen cut it open and saw that the middle is medium rare so we won't be remaking it". When I realized that the end of my steak was basically still raw, I asked to speak to the manager. The manager was extremely rude and debated with me that as long as a portion of my steak is cooked to the degree that I ordered it at, they feel they have fulfilled the order. She was insistent that because the steak might have had different thickness throughout, they are not going to be uniformly cooked. I personally have never encountered a 8 oz steak that has one side that is medium well done and one side that is still raw if they were cooked with proper techniques. But I will leave it up to you readers to decide whether that is actually possible.

On the main street of Jasper, the staff was helpful and friendly, we sat on the patio with 2 well-behaved dogs. I had a rib steak thst was cooked med. rare. Son had an 18 oz prime rib (they usually serve 12 oz but he asked for more). Others in party chicken souvlaki and greek ribs. Food was cooked well and wait staff were pleasant, efficient, and attended to our needs. For 4 of us, the bill came to $175.00 without alcohol....so it isn't cheap. They did have lower priced items on the menu, though. The patio is a great place to people watch and train watch(right across from the train station).

We had deliciously prepared appetizers (escargot, light on the garlic) which were presented , as we requested. The calamari dinner and the linguine carbonara were very good. We enjoyed the service from Teddy, our waiter, who was very attentive to our needs. Thank you to Mark Kellis who owns a great place where you can eat and relax in a very pleasant atmosphere. He is also the chef who prepared the delicious meals. His wife Wendy, who is the hostess, is the friendliest and nicest person you wish to meet any day. Highly recommend this restaurant as a family place to have a well prepared and appetizing meal and receive great attention.

Please use real lemons in the Greek Salad! I went with my Greek, as in Greek, 4 years in Canada friend and we were mildly offended by the quality of the food. Over processed, dressings on the salad and not lemons used - salty as anything. Just not traditional Greek food. I am sure other things on the menu were fine but the souvlaki, the lemon potatoes, the lemon rice, and the greek salad were far from anything you get in Greece. My friend refused to eat the feta he was so offended by the "greek feta". The friend I was with wanted to speak to the owner as he was and is in the restaurant biz in Canada and Greece. I wouldn't let him educate the owner back to his traditional roots. The old way, is often the best way - keep it traditional and lose the "special greek dressing" for your salads. On a positive, the servers were nice and it was a large, cheery restaurant. That is where my extra star comes in. If you are traveling through Edmonton or Calgary, I can recommend some terrific traditional Greek restaurants, well worth the drive.

"Lasagna" just a bunch of 1 inch thick noodles piled in a pan, scant amount of meatless meat sauce, with mozza on top. Any grocery store lasagna is better. Dry kids meal chicken, flavourless chicken alfredo. Burnt $38 "ribeye". How this place has 4.2 stars is beyond me. Left the place feeling ripped off.

Popped in with my family of 5 plus two in-laws whilst here on holiday from Bristol England. I ordered the 14oz Fillet special, was informed by the owner they only do a few a day. What can I say , it was nearly 2" thick and came with stunning sweet potato chips. I have eaten in many places around the world , but that fillet melted in the mouth , the flavour was amazing. Possibly the finest piece of meat I have ever eaten, I cannot recommend it enough. To the point I went and shook the chef's hand and thanked him ( Marco ) , followed up by a fabulous carrot cake . Go treat yourself whilst in Jasper! ( Darren Fare , Bristol , England . ) P.S. The prices are very reasonable , staff friendly , and nice surroundings.

We werent lucky yesterday. I ordered a salmon, which was great, but for my daughter (who ordered a steak medium well), they brought a completely dry, over cooked, tough piece of meat. Mistakes happen, and when waitress was told about it, she first got very defensive, saying medium well doesnt have pink in it. We werent talking colours here. The meat was dry and tough. When i told her that, she answered angrily: "What do you want me to do?". At that point on, what could have been a great experience, was ruined. Waitress never came back, no water refill, never apologized, no one came to talk about it. Just came back for the check as nothing had happened. And yes, we were charged full price for that expensive tough dry piece of meat.

We came to get some food there with our family and the waiter brought us over to a table and literally forgot about our existence. The worst service ever. We spent sitting there for 15-20 minutes with those menus, not even offered any water. Later on, a group of people walked in and the same waiter brought them over to a table next to ours and brought them water immediately and started to take their order without even acknowledging us at all. We got up and decided to leave, and the waiter was standing by the entrance, and even ignored the fact we were leaving. Not ever going to recommend or go to this restaurant again.

I had chicken souvlaki. The chicken was very nice. Excellent flavor. It comes with potatoes and rice. Both were very bland, especially the potatoes. It also came with flatbread (quite dry) and tatziki which was ok. I felt the dish was overpriced, but also understand that rental space must be very expensive for businesses. The service was good.

I don't like to the the vegetarian that goes to steakhouses but Karouzos keeps me coming back. The restaurant is cozy and comfortable and the service is friendly and fast. The beyond meat vegetarian burger is definitely the best burger I've had in Jasper so far. There's also a great selection of wine.

Staff are untrained and inexperienced; wrong cocktail was brought, food came out cold, and incorrect. Management seemed to be absent. Felt like a dressed up McDonald's charging $30+ a plate. Other customers present during our visit were also dissatisfied. Food has potential to me amazing if done right. Stay away in its current state.

This is Greek place, so don't be surprised by large amounts of sauce, it's very good as well, and goes great with bread and chicken. Prices are moderate, we've had a lunch for two less than $40 with tips and taxes but no drinks

5/5 for service, food, and atmosphere. Patio and indoor dining Great customer service. (A Child in our group required some food earlier than us and they accommodated us without fuss.) Excellent food, steak was prepared as I requested and my sides were delicious and the portions were filling. Appetizers were also quite tasty, I tried the mussels, recommend them highly. It has a nice open feel that helps you feel comfortable not rushed to eat and pay. Super friendly staff as well. Will return next time in the area.

The food was slow. We ordered a few New York steak meals: one of them was very salty and the other one had a piece of hair in it. The waiter offered to replace it but my niece was very hungry so she picked the hair out. I think the meals are similar to Earls but it's more expensive. Maybe due to the location and covid impact? The food was good, the waiter was nice but I was a little disappointed of how they treated us. Somebody in town recommended this place so I didn't look at the rating. It would be nice if they were offered the girls a little incentive so everyone would be happy.

Excellent steak House with a Greek and Italian twist. We visited Jasper fairway through our holiday and visited Karouzos to let our hair down. The food was lovely and the serving staff most satisfactory. We had a lovely evening and would greatly recommend anyone to try this restaurant.

WORSE DINING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Was in Jasper for the weekend. Husband wanted a nice steak dinner so we headed out. I suggested supporting a local business and we unfortunately picked this one... I asked about the market price on the Crab dinner was told 2 prices. $26 for a half pound $55 for the full. I went ahead and ordered the half pound dinner for $26. It was over cooked the salad was pathetic for an up charge of $3. I ate because I don’t like to be the complainer... upon arrival of the bill we were shocked to see a charge of $65 for my meal not including the upcharge for my salad and additional side.... had I known the actual price of my meal I 1. Would never had ordered it and 2. Would have sent it back for being overcooked and dry. So this didn’t sit well with me. when I went to express my concerns all I got was attitude from the manager AND chef!!! Basically blamed me for the mistake asking if I really expected to eat a crab dinner for anything less than that, which in turn put me over the top,.. I had been drinking all day and did use some colourful language but left immediately after expressing my disbelief in the poor management skills. I was embarrassed by the way I handled it because I do know how to handle myself but the alcohol was clearly speaking for me this is no excuse for them though. As a restaurant operator I would NEVER talk to my guests that way nor would I let them leave my establishment in a state of anger and dissatisfaction. After we left a few other guests approached us to “discuss” the issue we faced.. they couldn’t even believe their ears. My husband returned to the restaurant a couple minutes later to further discuss the issue and potentially get a refund as I was completely Mis lead from the beginning where he was then held up by the same 2 individuals for at least 20 minutes while they repeatly reprimanded him for my behaviour?!!! How rude. The entire staff needs a lesson on hospitality. This is not my fault. Your server doesn’t know her job the “chef” needs to go back to culinary school and the restaurant owner needs to reevaluate whom is running this place,. AN ABSOLUTE JOKE OF A RESTAURANT. OVER PRICED. POOR QUALITY AND ZERO CUSTOMER APPRECIATION. I came on a bus with 55 others and you better believe every one of them has heard this story as well as multiple others!! Apparently the customer is always right doesn’t apply here... take your money to a different local, ones that actually value you and your experience! CHEERS

Pretty bland steaks and not served to specifications we had asked. Salad was very good though and the atmosphere was okay. We went pretty early in the season and could overhear a waitress mentioning they had just opened again for the season; this could have contributed to the steak quality.
