Earl's kitchen and Bar is the perfect spot to rest a but from exploring the Canadian Rockies. Very delicious food, the wings are especially recommended, the service was exceptional and of its finest quality. Overall I was very pleased with my experience there and definitely would recommend that to every visitor to the town of Jasper.

Servers were friendly, which is the reason you got 2 / 5 stars. Some ridiculous pricing here. Example, tiny cup of tomato soup with a couple croutons? $10.00 plus tax and tip. Love how the cheapest option to tip on your debit machine is 16%. Cooking at home is looking more and more attractive.

Seem to be hitting an Earls in every town right now. Food was great and accurate. Somehow I didn't know about the bread which is an absolute must have now! Declan was a extremely nice snd attentive server with a great sense of humour. Very glad I made a reservation especially during COVID times as it made the whole arrival experience so much better then if we would have just walked in. In the last two weeks I've been to Earls in Victoria, Vancouver, Banff, Jasper, Penticton and I'm sure I'll be in Kelowna too. The consistency in presentation and quality is incredible. I'm totally an ambassador!

Earl's was good, it's a fairly popular restaurant chain in Canada but the food is good and there is a nice albeit smaller outdoor patio here. Would definitely eat here ut if you are looking for more authentic local food this isn't the place ut again the food is always good and consistent.

Again I wouldn't recommend this place unless prices become more realistic, like they are at Jasper Brewing Company.

there was a bit of a wait for the patio. we waited about half an hour for out table for three. other then the long wait everything was amazing. our server gregory was extremely nice and was always happy to help us. he constantly checked up on us with a smile on his face. we went for happy hour and ordered the buffalo cauliflower, beyond burgers and the coconut prawns, and the sticky toffee chocolate pudding. it was delicious. 10/10 would recommend this restaurant .

What is there not to like about a good meal at earls?! This location seemed to have great food, friendly staff and a very fancy atmosphere. Now the parking in the front is very small but just across the street is a large parking lot. May be a very small inconvenience but there is a cross walk there so it would be no worse then parking at the mid/end of a lot at any other location.

I love Earls and I love their happy hr this is my to go place to stop when I don’t know what I want and I want a nice drink!! We stole in our visit to Jasper here and I will say that from all the Earls I been this one has the best chicken tacos and they actually use corn tortillas!!!!! The other places use flour. The food at this location is just a lot better and I don’t know why!!!! We tried 2 of their new drinks and they where amazing!!! This will be my fav stop in Jasper from now on!!!!

I gave two stars because our server did the best she could to try and make up for the delayed food and service. It took almost an hour to get our apps. Out of all the meals I had this week in Jasper, this one was by far was the worst. Terrible quality and no flavor at all. I took the recommendation and ordered the butter chicken, it tasted like it was a canned tomato soup with a touch of Indian spices and the rice was hardly edible. To top it off, we had a stomach ache for the ENTIRE night following this meal which was not fun at all. It was my first experience with Earls and will probably be my last.

Headed down here for dinner tonight. The food was great and the service was great. However, i was a little frustrated with the lack of communication with the Host. We explain we wanted to sit outside. And after noticing where he was going to put us “right in the sun”. We asked if we could be directed inside instead. Unfortunately i couldn’t pick up what he was saying to me, because he was simply mumbling. Have a hard to understand what people are saying in a loud environment with a mask on. Need to speak up next time so we’re both on the same page. But I wouldn’t let that ruin our night! I suggested head on down there if you are hungry!

My friend and I came in at about 12pm, the busy time of any restaurant. We got seated outside. It took a while to get our drink order in as well as our food. We got our drinks and then waited for our food as usual, a lot of the new guests that got seated after us started receiving their food before us, and some had the same dishes that we had ordered. I did have other plans for my morning, and started regretting coming to earls. They were short staffed and completely disorganized, which I understand during lunch rush, yet if I had had no experience in the restaurant business I would have walked out and never came back. Once I received my food my eggs were cold, and my hash burnt. It was just one disappointment after another.

Do not go here. My friend and I had to wait for 10 minutes in the front for a seat while there was so many empty seats. When we got seated, we were just left alone with no water and nothing. We wanted to order but no waiter came. They have too little waiters/waitresses. Horrible service. I was extremely disappointed and just left the restaurant.

Myself and a large group went into Earls on a very busy Saturday night. They were very crowded as there was a street festival going on outside and many people were going in to eat. They had limited seating but the hostess Natasha and manager Scott were very helpful in accommodating us. Our server Toni went above and beyond to help get us in, fed and out as quick as she could. Would highly recommend visiting this establishment. The staff are incredible and the food immaculate!

All the food we ordered was really good. My son and I split full order of ribs and chicken. Was the first blackened anything outside of Louisiana that was any good. My daughter had the Cajun chicken sandwich and really liked that as well. Would recommend this place to others. Bill for five meals and water was just under 120.

Wow, what a busy spot... And the real tourist season hasn't even started yet. That being said, our server was very friendly, the food was quite good and seemed reasonably priced. Being from out of province, I am always pleasantly surprised when the bill arrives and there is no provincial sales tax ;-) With this place being as busy as it is, you will want to be sure to make a reservation. On our last stay we were able to do this online only about an hour or so before we went there, and that got us a much better seat than the couple that arrived just in front of us without a reservation.

I just learned about these happy hour prices. Never really paid attention to them before. They're amazing prices. I was able to order 3 meals, which are like snacks, I guess. But the prices makes them well worth it. There's a pretty great selection. Seating on the outdoor patio gives a wonderful view of the mountains as well.

I was a little surprised when the receptionist told me over the phone to use their website to make a reservation, and when I arrived the personnel were not bothered when asking me to wait a couple of minutes in the staircase as I was holding my son in a stroller... but the dinner was really nice. We were well installed and the personnel turned out to be very nice. Food was truly delicious and we loved watching the cooks at work in their open kitchen concept.

Our first time at Earls was pretty disappointing. Even though our server was nice, when we told her about our burnt steak she said it was because the steak was well done. I don’t think well done steak should taste bitter. It was definitely burnt. If it was other restaurant they would offer us a new one. So we said it was ok and ate it anyway because we were hungry. We just had to cut the burnt parts off. Other food was great.

Be ready to wait 1.5 hrs for a spot then once seated, over an hour just for some service. Food was just decent. Quality was not up to par with the price. Steaks were quite tough and not the quality I expected. My rare steak had a gray tinge to it rather than pink or red (in the middle). Asparagus was old and hard. The worst was slow service. Had to wait very long for takeout boxes and bill. Saw our waitress chatting inside while the other tables were being served (by a different waiter). Gave a lame excuse about busy serving other tables... Management needs to do better. Definitely won't be back.

Appalling service. After I ordered my food I was left waiting almost an hour to actually eat. The already extremely unwelcoming staff were so busy fixing their cleavage that they failed to pick up the food that was all over the floor behind them. When we eventually finished our meal after a long wait, our server picked up our empty dishes so aggressively that he hit my plate across my shoulder and it landed all over me and the floor, which I never even got so much as an apology for!!! The whole restaurant was absolutely filthy, if I had seen the washrooms before I ate my meal there is no way I would have even stayed, as the whole place was covered in wet toilet paper. When I was paying my bill, firstly I was absolutely shocked that I was charged almost 10 dollars for a small bottle of beer that I would be charged 6 for in most other bars, secondly I was so unhappy with the service that I left a slightly lower tip than I normally would (not that any tip was deserved) my server was so sour about this that he actually threw my receipt at me. Will not be returning and definitely will not be recommending!

Ordered a brunch plate with 2 eggs, crisp potatoes and a sausage. Eggs were over done, potatoes over crisp, and sausage over cooked. Coffee was bland. Food took over 20 minutes to arrive. Had a party of 6 and was charged automatic gratuity of 18%. The waiter didn’t check on us once after got our food. What is the point of mandatory gratuity if we don’t even get the basic level of service. It used to be parties of 12, that minimum has dropped to 6. Waiter said it was based on volume, but 6 is volume?!? Laughable. With food quality so subpar, service so lacklustre, and a 60% empty restaurant, does not necessitate any gratuity at all! Corporate complacency at its worst. If I wasn’t late for another event I would’ve had a word with the manager. If the manager actually gets this. Message me, we’ll chat.

Server checked in at a reasonable frequency, and the sweet potato fries were good. However, food took forever, and kitchen clearly mistimed the order (wings were cold and came while the fries weren't quite ready). Server and hostess were also not very warm/communicative. Overall not worth the money.

Great place for happy hour! Loved the old fashioned with the rootbeer bitters! Food was alright. We had the coconut shrimp (seemed like something that came frozen and just thrown in a deep fryer), burger (was dry and over cooked), and the tofu zen bowl (would reccomend).

We popped in for a happy hour drink and were delighted. I was happy to hear their house seasonal beer was a vanilla stout and boy was it good. My girlfriend got a margarita as it was "margarita Monday". She said it was overly sweet unfortunately. Long, long time Earls customer. Consistently good food. So, I'll often review the service, which varies from location to location. Kind of a weird experience here at Jasper Earls: food was very good overall, though I though the Kung Pao was over-sauced. Tasty though. The service was very inconsistent. Food from the pass came out immediately and was hot. But our waitress was inattentive. Didn't check on our food often enough, and refills took forever. So the kitchen was great, the waitress, not so much. Check on your customers more than once in long while!

Earls usually never disappoints. This Earls however really dropped the ball. I'm only giving them two stars because, one - my ceaser drink was on point, & two - they followed social distancing. We order an Appy and one entree to share. Our first choice for an Appy was wings. They ran out. So the disappointment starts. We ordered the new feature ravioli and it was another disappointment. It was extremely salty... Something in the sauce. Do not order it unless you love salt. Like shaking salt from a shaker into your mouth kinda love. Prior to even ordering, we waited at least 40 min. They seem to be under staffed. It wasn't that busy for it to take that long. Our waitress was nice, but like I mentioned, it was an unreasonable long wait before she came back to take our order. Once the order was in, it was still a bit longer than normal to get our Appy. I wouldn't suggest going here if you're already hungry or you have a schedule. We never got an apology for how long it took for everything to come. Not that we needed one, but it's common courtesy to let the guest know that it's taking forever.

We happened to come here during happy hour which is from 3-6. They have several good food and drink deals during this time. We got the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich (happy hour special) and the Chicken, Fig, and Brie sandwich. Both were fantastic. We upgraded one of the fries too garlic fries and both fries were great. My only complaint about the food is that the sandwiches were small, especially the Chicken, Fig, and Brie. The food was great, the service was great. I'd definitely recommend this place.

I love the experienced I had with them! My friends and I love their Chicken Wings & Dynamite rolls. People are so accommodating and polite, specially the people who are front liners to serve and accommodate us! the host who are very hard working up & down the stairs And still manage to smile that I can see on their eyes. I am just requesting that they should have a protective Face Shield, because they are the one interacting in front of us before we go Upstairs. As we don't get any temperature check. Honestly disappointed, we’ve been here before and had good service however tonight it was awful, it was painfully slow took ages before we even got our drink order taken. We ordered some bread to start but that took so long it didn’t come out until the mains, we got no refills on our drinks as the staff seemed to be too preoccupied with the larger groups to check in (several times we seen a bunch of servers stood having a chat amongst themselves) we were going to have dessert but decided against it because everything was going so slow and we felt ignored, the server even commented more than once about the wait times but did nothing to rectify it.

By far this has been the worst of any Earls locations we’ve been to. Having dined in various cities for work/travel, Earls usually is a very good spot to go as far as excellent food quality/consistency and service experience. This location however, three strikes. This has been our third time to Jasper Earls, the portions are small and consistently there’s been an issue with one or all dishes sent to our table, the service feels disingenuous, the atmosphere just isn’t there. Aside from the gorgeous view, there’s nothing else going for the place.

A great place for dinner. Went for a family dinner, late evening on a Saturday. As expected there was a wide range of patrons from quiet couples, to younger groups priming up for the club scene to families like myself. The staff handled the diverse crowd amazingly. Our food was typical Earls quality, so fantastic comfort food and having a modest selection of craft beer on tap was an added bonus. I'll be back again and again.

We had a very mediocre experience at this location. Okay service while sitting at a crappy table right by the kitchen and then bathroom. My food didn't taste as good as it did at other Earls restaurants. The lime that came along with my fish tacos was dried out and that was obvious before even picking it up which makes you wonder how it ended up on the plate. It was a disappointing experience for someone who generally enjoys the Earls restaurant chain.

It was my first time at any Earls restaurant. I had the steak special. It was cooked to a perfect medium. But my partner ordered a rare cook and his was dry, chewy and really tough to eat. It wasn't juicy at all. He couldn't finish his. It was almost like it was sitting for a while before they served it to us. Great mashed potatoes though. The Old Fashioned and the mojitos were a hit.

Good food lots of choice on the menu. They have a special extra happy hour menu from 3 to 6 with drinks and food. Service was good, we where reminded of the happy hour just before it ended to make sure we did not miss it. For a small town this is a good place. However, attention to details is not a thing here: First of all, the eggs benedict were cooked perfectly! But: They came without salt and pepper which is fine, but no salt or pepper were given or on the table. The avocado on the side was old and gray. The "green juice" was a very sugary thing, neither fresh nor with actual greens. I felt deceived. I recommend juicing some fruits in the morning to offer customers a wholesome breakfast. The crispy potatoes need some seasoning (thyme, rosmary, pepper) and need to have a smaller cut.

A solid experience and as about what I expected from an Earl's. The ambiance was nice. We dined on the tiny rooftop terrace. It was very small though and to walk around, you had to squeeze by everyone else sitting next to you. The tables are wobbly because the ground is uneven. The service was really slow. But our server was friendly and very attentive. It took almost 45 or 50 minutes to get our food. We went at 11am on a Thursday. They had this $8 brunch happy hour. It wasn't THAT busy. My poached eggs were overdone and the potatoes almost completely burnt. Everything else was okay. 3.5/5 stars.

The place was pretty crowded & didn’t seem to have COVID restrictions in place when we went there for supper between 5-7pm. Crowed place & the service was slow & forgot some of our drinks. We waited a long time for drinks, then had to ask for things many times, even as simple as plates for our appetizers. The bathrooms lacked toilet paper. Excellent patio! We came here for breakfast two days in a row because it was consistent, quick and a great deal. They have all the brunch menu on for 8 dollars throughout the week (9 on the weekend) but only for the first hour of service. If you like avocado they have it on almost every brunch dish here. The caesars were delicious and I also tried the cold brew coffee with baileys and it was refreshing and a great way to start the day!

The host was not friendly in the least. Our server, Roman, had little clue what the bar offered for whiskey, they didn't even have Crown Royal, had to settle for Jack Daniels. We decided to place dinner and appetizer at the same time as we didn't know when the server would get back to us or we'd keep his attention. Appie (Spinach dip) was tasty but my steak was over seasoned and salty and the green beans were under seasoned and bland. One drink each and we ate and got out as quick as we could despite it being a birthday celebration dinner. Sad because Earl's in Edmonton is generally a home run when we dine there. If the management of Earl's actually read these reviews I'd suggest you step up what you expect from your staff in a location that's in a) a tourist town, b) during a slower shoulder season, and c) when welcoming valued guests after pandemic closures and a tough year. I can tell you we won't be back to the Jasper location.

We Visited Earls Kitchen on our recent visit to the park. The service was excellent, we both had the Bacon cheese burger with garlic fries. The Moscow mules and Jasper The Bear Ale from Jasper brewing company were great. Both very refreshing after a day of hiking. Would highly recommend earls.

Excellent food and service. My wife and I went during happy hour and enjoyed 2 drinks, 2 starters, and 2 entrees - total came out to around $60 (with tip). Definitely a place to go to take advantage of their happy hour. The restaurant also is very open, has outdoor seating, and large windows overlooking the town or Jasper and mountain range - really great! I highly recommend the garlic fries and ahi tuna bowl. I would give Earl's 5 stars however (a couple nitpicky things).. One of our two starters was an 8 inch margherita pizza. Earl's has a nice wood fired oven, so we of course had to get this on special during happy hour (we're pizza snobs, and will get a wood fired margherita when we see it). The pizza was overloaded with sauce, had what I believe either pre-shredded mozzarella or dried shredded parmesan - overall, it didn't remind me of the margherita pizza we love. Kind of tasted like a frozen pizza. Dough was not crispy, which I believe to be due to a low oven/deck temp. Second and lastly, the entrees arrived less than 5 minutes after our starters did. Poor timing on the staffs end, as we were left inhaling our starters to avoid a cold entree.

We were seated at a table with half of the chairs with holes in them, saw servers/waitresses setting up messy tables without cleaning them first,the food took forever about 30-40 minutes,most of the staff stood around and talked,our food finally arrived, my burger was burnt with a soggy bun and what's really gross was the bathrooms they looked like they weren't cleaned for a week. Don't eat here unless you absolutely have to.

Good service and open late. + Menu has a variety of offerings - from your traditional burgers and steaks to some interesting Asian fusion dishes (my friend recommends the curry) + The rack of ribs were delicious. Fall-off-the-bone, basted in a smoky BBQ sauce. Sided with warm potato salad (really good) and coleslaw.

Not impressed. Came in to town late and just needed some food. I ordered take out. The one order was just wrong, no condiments in the bag, and not enough cutlery. And the bartenders just ignored me while I waited for the food. The only saving graces were that the server was friendly and the food at least tasted good. I'll try a different option next time.

Stopped here for lunch after spending the morning hiking from the Upper Tramway station to the Whistlers Mountain Summit. The view from the restaurant looks amazing when it's sunny - you can see the mountain view. The food was good - ordered the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl (great flavour and delicious), and fish and chips. The server wiped down everything after customers leave but that just her, can't say for every servers in the restaurant. The concept using the QR code to look at their menu is great idea during this covid time.

We went to Earls for Happy Hour after a long day of hiking. It's quite busy during this time, so be prepared to wait a few minutes! We ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Silders, Leroy's Crispy Ribs and a Crispy Prawn Roll. The Sliders and Crispy Ribs were great for the price, and the portions were good as well. The Crispy Prawn Roll didn't exactly taste like sushi that I've had before (rice texture was a bit off) but then again Earl's isn't a sushi restaurant! It was still good and the portion was nice. I do recommend this for anyone looking for some cheap after hours eats in Jasper, the Happy Hour menu is amazing!

Hands down the best Earls in Western Canada! If you are lucky to get an outside seat, savour the view as you savour your delish drinks and food. The deals after 9 are great for travellers or locals on a budget. We spent less than $40 for 2 mains and 4 drinks. I couldn't believe it. It can be busy so be prepared to have a drink at the bar or make a reservation.

We stayed in Jasper for one night and had a dinner. We ordered Nashville chicken sliders from starter. We received rolls looks like sushi. We didn’t like much, we ate it. In the end , we got our bill, that shows we ordered spicy tuna rolls. I asked attendant, we didn’t order this one. His response was but you ate it. I am like did I say I am not gonna pay this. I am just asking that you gave us wrong order and that was our first time trying that dish, so we don’t even know the difference. But the way he responds and assumed that I am asking in the end because I don’t wanna pay was very upsetting. We came from BC, but was not impressed by his response. We paid and left kind of frustrated.

Undercooked rice, butter chicken was mediocre at best. Chicken fettuccine alfredo was subpar, beyond burger was terrible, garlic fries were underwhelming. Terrible service, long wait times for seating and billing. Waitress was rude and got offended when no tip was given and did not let us leave until a tip was given. The only star given was for the view of the mountains. Would not recommend going to this location unfortunately.

We held our wedding rehearsal dinner here at the Earls in Jasper this past weekend. We ate in their private room, which was AMAZING and beautifully decorated. The service was spot on and the private bar service was perfect. The food was amazing and our guests loved it! It was much more than what we expected. We ordered two 9oz steak with spicy tuna sushi roll, and one Quinoa + Avocado Powerbowl, and 2 pine of local IPAs. Great food and great service. Plus the view of the patio was fantastic.

We visited the Jasper location ..upon arriving we realized that there was a large stair case that a member in our party could not climb due to medical issues. We inquired about an elevator and they said they had one but it was full of stuff and couldn't be used. Hard to believe a restaurant chain can operate like this. Had a bad experience here. The place is big and noisy, specially with the open kitchen in which the cooks sometimes like to be a macho man and scream or so. We were told we had to wait 40 minutes for our food since we came in late. That is okay, even got surprised when the food arrived in 20 minutes. But here starts most of the bad things. The garlic bread was already standing for 10/15 minutes on the warming table which was cold in the meantime. 2 steaks were well done while we asked for medium/med rare. And they were also not warm. We had to pay 2 dollars for jus for each steak. Which was about only a teaspoon, kinda ridicoulus. So we asked for more since we also had to eat well-done steaks. And there was one waiter who kept spanking his waitresses on their ass. Not what I would recommend.

Had lunch there yesterday and we weren’t super impressed. The food was good but the staff was somewhat disorganized so we had just an ok experience overall. Our server was a great guy but the other staff we encountered weren’t helpful and somewhat uptight. For example, it would have been helpful if we were told in advance about the menu online. We were given one menu amongst the 5 of us and when I try to grabbed a menu from another table, I was scolded. I’m sure she didn’t mean to be rude but it wasn’t a great experience. Other restaurants we went to in town seemed to have better handling of social distancing than Earls this weekend.

Not impressed by the front staff. We went there this past Friday. We asked about availability however the man at the front seemed completed uninterested in helping us. He did not even greet us well. We were told it was a 3 hour wait at 8pm when the restaurant closes at 11. Go figure that one out. Then instead of concluding the conversation with us he pleasantly greets the next person. Let's them know it's a few minutes for a table of four and would they like to put their name down. I've never felt so invisible. Horrible! We asked about why we weren't asked if we wanted our names put down his response you didn't ask. Even if we are a bigger group have some respect and properly deal with us first instead of dismissing us so rudely. I would recommend going elsewhere in town. Lots of great places with amazing front staff. Update: The response from owner says alot about the customer service. Nothing about we apologize and will work with staff on your experience. It's my fault that I didn't have a reservation and the staff were overwhelmed by being too busy. The whole point is if someone walks in (which people other then us do) you still need to be respectful! Will never recommend people go there.

I have been going all the time for my birthday to Earl's and this was the worst birthday dinner ever the table I was given was awfully small for two people and the food was not the greatest including the salad though it looked like it was few days old. paying the $100 for something like this I'm a little bit disappointed since Earl's had a really good reputation in the past for the best food and now the reputation just went down to one star for their food. Very disappointed in the service and how they treated me and my partner. Next time I rather just go to Ricky's which is a lot better food and better service for same price.

Horrible!!! I have to say me and my family visited Earls for a bite after skiing and it was terrible. We had a table close to all the action, and still had terrible service. We were seated and they took our drink orders, which came promptly but that was as good as it got, we realy got no service unless we waved someone down, as we waited for our food it seemed to take forever, when we waived down the waitress we asked where our food was and low and behold she said the kitchen lost our order, when we did get our order it was cold so once again after sending it back we had to wait again. When we finally got our order we never got even a glance from there on. When i aprochrd the manager it was like what i was saying didn't matter. We asked for the bill from the manager and what she did next was appalling, she took our paid check which had a 10 dollar tip and laughed with the waitress about it. This is a resturant that needs some attention!!! THERE IS BETTER RESTURANTS IN JASPER GO TO ONE OF THEM.

Ordered for pickup and food was microwaved- usually wouldn’t be a big problem but they microwaved the tuna poke bowl which made all the veggie toppings warm and soggy, and the tuna (supposed to be cold and raw) warm and kinda cooked and chewy. Honestly it was kinda gross, and for over $22 the amount of tuna and other toppings was very disappointing. The poke bowl was mostly rice, same amount the last time I went there too (and I’ve been to multiple earls locations and always get this bowl, usually comes with way more toppings). Anyways I’m still at a loss as to why they microwaved my poke bowl and I’m really sad.

I normally never post reviews, but during the off season the service was horrible. I came with my mother (first time in jasper) and it took 15 minutes to get a drink. By the time it came out my food was finished and I didn’t even want the beverage just the bill. Another 10 minutes to get the bill. I called to complain and they confirmed they were understaffed. After my phone call with one of the managers and another bad trip they assured me that things would be different next time I came in. I called before I came in today and they said they would contact one of the managers. Nobody returned my call and had the same bad experience. Two servers for a dining room full of 50 people screams a miscommunication that my message was never passed through and if you are going to seat someone then at least have the decency to tell them that they may have to wait a little bit for their meal or drink. My food came out cold and I still had to wait 15 minutes for a drink and had to hail down servers just to get a word in. I’m not trying to be overly sensitive but is it so hard to not feel like another number in the dining room? Especially as a local who suggests this place to tourist I can’t believe the treatment I received in my past 3 trips. As to your reply In proper context please don’t make a customer feel bad about expressing their feelings of disservice in your establishment. In my dealing with management I was never notified of any gift card left for me so how was I supposed to pick something up that wasn’t told to me. Secondly it shouldn’t matter the time I come in. If you cannot accommodate a “happy hour” then do not hold one (came in on a non happy hour as well). I’ve screen shotted my call logs and have no record of anyone calling me back so in turn I felt ignored. I shouldn’t be made out to be the bad guy after I received bad service, that is what your reply is showing me and I have 5 other diners who can atest to my accusations. I changed my rating for you guys solely based off the food. The cooks and menu are great.

Service is slow and seems like the waitresses are confused on who serves who? Not your normal Jasper restaurant service. We sent our food back as the burgers were so dry. Everything seemed quickly thrown together. Two stars because they at least comped the beers.

My family and I tried Earls out last night and the food was delicious! We ordered all seafood and told the host we were sharing meals. When we got our meal, the seafood was all cut into pieces easier to distribute which was really appreciated. The wait time for food was a little longer than expected but the service made up for it.

Worst service ever. My husband reserved a table a week previously for our first wedding anniversary. Our table was booked for 7.15, we arrived early, were seated just after 7pm and told a server would be with us shortly. 15 minutes passed and no one had come to take our drinks order or give us water. People arrived and were seated at the table behind us and had water and their drinks orders taken shortly afterwards. More people came in and were seated, again had their drinks orders taken. Still nobody had come to take our drinks order or even give us water. We decided if nobody came to take our order by 7.30 then we would leave. Sure enough by 7.30 we were still waiting to be served, so we left. When we told the greeter we were leaving because of the terrible service all she did was say sorry. At no point did she ask us to stay so she could try and fix the situation. What was supposed to be a nice anniversary meal was ruined by the lack of customer service. The next morning we randomly ran into the group who had been sat behind us the night before, and they told us that they didn't leave a tip because the service had been so bad, and apparently their waitress got really offended, like a tip was her right not a thank you for good service. I would not recommend anyone go here.

Location wonderful. Our seating excellent,it was on the verandah overlooking the beautiful mountains in the distance. The food was good. And the house wine was good too. The server was polite and helpful and recommendations were good.

My 16yr old had her heart set on a rooftop supper while in Jasper. I called ahead to make sure minors where aloud on the roof and she said yes, its about a 20 min wait. When we got there we put our name in with the host for the rooftop and where told again 20-25 minute wait. After 30 mins I went in to see "around how much longer for our table on the rooftop?" ,we had our 6 yr old, and the host then said "oh, i put you guys down for the restaurant because its a shorter wait" i then said "we said rooftop" she then said she "would change it to roof top" so i then asked her again "how much longer" and she said "another half hour." We then said we would go elsewhere as we already waited half hour and everyone else outside had been seated that arrived before and after us. She really didn't care. Glad we did cause we had a fantastic experience elsewhere.

Promptly greeted and sat. Pleasant waitress, good views, food was very good and the portions were good. Waitress checked on us regularly and refilled water without being asked. I have heard Earls described as expensive, it is not. I was pleasantly surprised with the bill after comparing them to restaurants in Hinton and Jasper. Well done folks, you have new regular customers.

Came here for my reception for our wedding on Friday April 23, 2021. I booked a month prior in the dining room, with covid all inside dining was closed but was happy to hear that Earls would honor our tables. We still had people social distanced and set by house hold, so 4 tables total. Patio has a lovely view but the 2 sitter tables around the corner has a full wind tunnel. Out of their control but very cold! We came the day before soup very salty, I ate it but my mother sent it back. Than on the wedding night my mothers food was bad, she ordered pizza, felt like forever to than see half a pizza coming because they burnt it... they did make a new one but for my mom she watched us all eat while she waited... Its good food, menu limited in general, high prices... won't be visiting earls for a long time. Sorry!!

Love the food! We went after 9pm n got real good deals on food and drinks. We ordered prawn rolls, they were sushi rolls, but amazing. Also ordered garlic shrimp spaghettini, again turned out to be finger licking good. If visiting Jasper, try visiting Earls for a dinner.

This Earls location does get fairly busy so I would suggest making reservations ahead of time. We had walked in and had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. They don't have the best waiting area for their space is limited and one step back …

Great atmosphere, went during happy hour after 9m and ordered the Rhino Fries, Buffalo Cauliflour, Cajun Chicken and Chicken Teriyaki Bowl. All food was delicious, especially the teriyaki bowl. Will be visiting again during the next Jasper trip!

The longest wait ever over 1hr and 30min my group go the food finished their still haven't received my food had to end up taking it to go eat it in my hotel room. If you want to wait for over 2hr I wouldn't suggest this place.

I have been to Earl’s in the past in several cities and it has always been a safe choice. Unfortunately not in Jasper! My kids ribs were perfect. But not the case with my chicken fettuccine Alfredo. Very little chicken and never found the creamy sauce it is suppose to come with. Very desapointing when I had to wait extra long time because of “a glitch in the kitchen”. My diner ended up just being a cup of soup as an appetizer... service was subpar. They just did not bill me for the fettuccine I sent back to the kitchen. They should have said “rest is on us for the inconvenient”... Seems like they don’t really care because of the customer volume in this particular Earl’s.

I have kept trying to like this location as some other ones I’ve visited have been decent. The service is consistently terrible, from servers not taking back corked (bad) wine, to literally not being offered a menu and when I asked been asked “well what did you want?” A menu, I want a menu and then I’ll know? I’ve honestly felt like I was being pranked. I will say the patio is wonderful in the summer but prepare to be patient and maybe just stick with drinks.

Just left there and Very disappointed! A 45 dollar steak ordered medium and comes blue rare. Garlic bread - burnt! Salt and pepper on the table - none! A pizza with a half of the crust cut off because it was burnt! Really!?!? The garlic fries were good. Mashed potatoes were good but that hardly constutes a good meal! Eaten at many earls restaurants but Jasper sucked huge!!

Cajun Salmon. Salmon itself was very good, well-seasoned, good taste with asparagus and rice. However, they served crunchy/hard part of rice. (You know when you cook rice, bottom part of rice is hard and crunch), and overall slightly salty. But still taste was very good. I had salmon for lunch, but there is a very good deal for brunch. (Before 12pm, $10 brunch dishes) Their servers are very friendly as well.

We went in for happy hour one afternoon. We ordered all happy hour drinks and a pizza (which was also on the happy hour menu). I checked that all drinks were happy hour but forgot to remind the server about the pizza. The pizza came out and was small and very average. We were charged full price for the pizza ($17.50 as opposed to $5 for a Margherita pizza the size of a dinner plate or smaller) and when asked about it at our bill the server said it was their mistake but didn't offer to fix it at all. Really enjoy Earls but probably wont be back.. we rarely go out due to financial reasons with COVID and definitely won't be back to Earls again soon

This location doesnt allow online ordering, orders placed by phone only. Our phone calls went unanswered so we walked to the location hoping to place an order for pick up(covid restricts dining in righ now). We were told they were no longer taking any orders as the kitchen was backed up. We asked if we could place an order now for pick up in a couple of hours but were told no, that we could come back in 20 minutes and try again. Two staff member were standing there turning us away, certainly one of them could be answering the phones and explaining the situation to people so they arent wasting their time.

The high balls were cheap at $3.50 but the service was terrible. Even when half the tables had left it still took the waiters over 25 minutes to get to us. We ordered vodka slimes and they made them incorrectly with club sofa instead of 7up or sprite, with the waiter proceeding to tell us that’s how they make their vodka slimes. I would go back only for the price of the highballs.

Being a server.... the service was not good. Took our order didn't ask us if we would like anything else to drink besides water. Food arrived and I asked for a ice tea. Never came back to the table aske how everything was. Another lady came in her phone started ringing in her back pocket didn't put it on silent just covered her pocket. Then she walked over to the dishwasher and started pulling glassware out hair was down touching the glassware as she leaned over. We went to leave as our server was standing there didn't say one word to us as we left. Only good thing was or appetizers on this visit.

We decided to head to Earls from our stat at the Jasper Park Lodge. Underwhelming experience was not a typical Earls experience. Our order was compromised from a printer computer error..then again not placed. The wings both Teriyaki and Hot were pleasing however, the garlic fries were soggy and disappointing sent back 3 times not the quality we are accustomed to. In addition, the manager came over and did some compensating (perhaps just take responsibility and say let me make it awesome!)which was ok but preferably some great cooked fries would have been the best. Lastly, the dynamite rolls were not normal..odd taste not at all like Earls Vancouver, Calgary they were humungous and the inside ingredients were sweet and tasteless. I certainly hope management steps up their level of service and consistency to retain the good brand name Earls has been known for!

Went for lunch. Service was fine. I ordered fish and chips and was served Captain Highliner. Which is fine if the price reflected that. Daughter had a burger, the pop made it easier to wash the dry bun down. My son enjoyed his pizza. The pool was also good. Very poppy. Underwhelming to say the least.

I've been to many Earls locations many of times but never haveI had such amazing service as I did in Jasper. We asked to sit outside on the patio and they made sure we could get spot. Our waiter was quite lovely as well, once we sat outside he offered us blankets and turned on the heater as it was a little bit windy. We were very indecisive on what we were going to order but thankfully we had a very very patient server. He also helped us pick out our drinks for the night! Once we decided what we wanted, our food was there within 10-15 minutes. It was barely a wait. The food was really good too. Once we were finished, our waiter made genuine conversation and even answered some of our questions about touring Jasper. Might I add, the view from the patio is breathtaking! 10/10 would reccomend! :)

My friends and I are from out of town. We were told that Earls was a super great place to go so we decided to taxi over for some drinks. Hi balls were cheap which was nice but the service sucked, Took forever to get our drinks and shots and for our waiter to come see if we needed or wanted anything else. They were only giving attention to what looked like to be the locals, as there were hugging them and standing at the tables and holding conversations.
