Aw man, go here if you like sweets and chocolate. In 2012 we went in there (accidentally) and the stuff they got there was so good it made us come back in 2015 :-). Tip: try the icefields!

Honestly you’ll find more Candy in your local grocery store, then would here. Now granted, they do have ice cream. How ever it’s actually pretty sad to call yourself a candy store and not have that much candy. If you’re looking for candy head up the road “north”.

Love this store. The fudge was super delicious and the ice cream was absolutely perfect! I had a one scoop rolo cons and it was the perfect portion size and consistency (these things matter I swear haha). I'll be craving the ice cream until we go again!

Lots of options made fresh in store! It must have been too hot in there though.alot of the candy and taffy was melted and running out the the packages. The staff was also kinda rude. Good chocolates but not the most friendly

The Candy Bear Lair is a bad place if on diet... This place is Great I gained 2kgs here. The ice cream scoops are big. As for the Candy it has so many I had to get over dozen different types too find the 3 I loved. You have too have good will power in here. I will be back in the Candy Bear Lair very soon. This was one of the best deal on good things to eat in town.

Oh I'm a kid in a candy store! Absolutely a must stop in. Try their naked Carmel. Found I liked it covered in milk chocolate with walnuts. Always a bring home if you can resist it that long.

Good Chocolates, Terrible Macaron. Stopped in today and grabbed so treats. My dark chocolate salted caramel was good but the Macaron were the worst I've ever had. All four were Hard as a rock!

best chocolate in all of Canada..... I make the 3-4 hour drive (each way) from edmonton at least 4 times a year, just for this store. The staff are awsome and the product is out of this world

Was in this shop this past weekend and had a negative experience. Entered the shop after 2 other people. Were very few people in store at time, maybe 4 other people. Employee of store immediately told us "out, out , out!!, too many people". Employee came across as rude when he could have approached the situation in a more professional manner. Opted to go elsewhere for more professional customer service. Will not return to this shop.

A bit small and cramped compared to some of the stores around but given the fact you can watch them making treats through the window makes up for it. Decent selection, albeit a bit pricey, but the kids loved the assorted bear claw and caramel treat packages we brought home for them!

There is always a Candy stop in tourist places. My wife and i walked in and were greeted by sweet smells. A young woman was busy making fresh chocolate treats and sponge toffee. The smell was incredible. We purchased the sponge toffee and it was incredible. Fresh made treats make the difference. We watched the making of some nut and chocolate caramel treats, which were promptly scooped up by the ladies behind us. Lol Alot of stores in town sell treats, treat yourself to homemade, in front of your eyes. You will not be disappointed.

My kids where so excited about the candy store but when they got in the store there was bugs on the floor and even in the candy. I’m very worried about sickness anyone could get from there.

Our family loves the goodies here and we stop every time we are in or travel through Jasper. My only issue is that the confections tend to be a bit on the pricy side and the store gets very crowded during the summer months. Are experience is always a pleasant one though.

Don’t ever order on line from the Candy Bear Lair.. if you do be ready to pay at least double as the C.O.D delivery shipping (which is your only choice) is through the roof expensive. What a disappointment and a total rip off.. Been going there for years and they just lost my business. So disappointed!!

I was a little disappointed. I got several different types of custom chocolate creations and I am sorry to say it all tasted the exact same. Typical Nuts and Carmel, covered in chocolate. Lacked creativity in the flavours but not the candies names.
