Disgraceful. Food took about 40 minutes, quality was ok at best, paid for water that they didn’t have so they ran out to get some and the order wasn’t even right when it finally came out.

The best hidden secret in town.Who would expect such a quality next to a gaz station? Since I moved to the hood five years ago, I hesitated to try this place. But since one fish and chips per year became a tradition , decided to give Maya a try. The tradition evolved into one fish and chips per two week for the summer season. ;-)

We ordered take out as although there are tables, a lot of cars come and go. Additionally there’s people filling up on propane right next to the tables and it’s next to the highway. The staff were friendly and personable. The food was very good, though the fish portion was on the smaller side in comparison to most places. I’d pop by for take out again.

Amazing feed that I got a few days ago with lovely tender pieces of red emperor and crispy chips and squid, would definitely recommend to grab a bite especially because of their low prices

I ordered a medium fish and chips. The breading on the fish was nice and thin but perfectly crispy that you could enjoy it without a lot of dough. The fish could be cut easily then melts in your mouth. The fries were less crispy than I normally like. The price is less than I expected for what they serve. I will definitely be going back again.

Ordered the Neptune's Platter for one (seafood platter) which included a deep fried haddock fillet, deep fried clams, scallops and fries. It was very delicious however I wish the tarter sauce was homemade.

Fish is excellent. Fries are horrible. Not sure if the oil is off or what but they taste burnt, and went in the trash. Price is at the higher end for a fish and chips hutt, so should strive to offer a better product.

Great fish & chips, fried clams. Outdoor picnic table dining with sunbrellas. They don't take cards for payment...just cash or e-transfer. But you'll enjoy the food and friendly service!

Was here today since they only specialize in fried fish. Sorry we did not like it. Small pieces of fish and cash only. Freddies in Bayers Lake and Phil's on Quinpool and John's in Dartmouth do a much better job if you are in HRM however there are many other Fish and Chips joints across the province that are great if you are driving by the ocean.

Sent family there that were here for visit and they were disappointed. Small pieces and fries were dry! It was busy so maybe that’s why but it was 2:00. The last time I eat there I found the same thing and though it was just an off day.
