Really good shop! The animals were all very healthy and happy. The staff was more then happy to help or give me good information about things I wasn't sure of or just not aware of. Only wish there had been a bit more product selection for hamsters seeing as they do sell the live animals there.

Nice staff and a very small store but despite size constraints it's very well stocked. He has everything for your freshwater aquarium (barely any for marine) and the best reptile supply in nova Scotia. Any reptile fan HAS to check this place out

the guinea pigs from here are not good with other guinea pig and the one i got it had upper respiratory infection they also don't have a return system. just be careful when buying pets from here they are also over prices.

Really nice smaller business - owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. Sells staples like crickets and fish food, but also some more exotic animals/products you couldn't find at a large brand pet store, as well as the personal touch you wouldn't get there either!

love this place and love the owner. we've been coming for a couple years and bought from the same guy when he used to work for another pet store. only place in Halifax you are going to find anything interesting in line with invertebrates and they have a great selection of reptiles. always very friendly and knowledgable. refreshing amount of love for the animals they keep beyond a more commercial pet chain.

While this place is into a little more of the exotic pet side, I didn't really see anything I couldn't find someplace else. Mostly empty of land pets, and the fish selection was very basic. There were two people working the day I went in. One employee didn't seem to have much knowledge to give in any of the questions I had, and the other told me a few questionable things. Wouldn't recommend... keep in mind I could have come into the store at an off time of year for more exotic pet, and perhaps the employees working were new. The habitats were fi e and the tanks clean.

This is a well kept little store with fantastic owners. Reptiles are well cared for and an extensive selection of fish. Great care and attention to all animals including bettas! I try to go here when I can rather than the big box stores nearby. It is a much better store than the one that occupied it previously.

Unhelpful,lazy, procrastinator. Warning: this guy lies about reviews Also found out this guy gets reviews deleted he dosnt like. He gets friends and fake accounts to write bogus 5 star reviews. I chased this guy around 3 times to get feeders in that I needed. He could not tell me a price even after callbacks I made . He couldnt even tell me if it was a product he could get. He could have told me both these things if he called his supplier like he said he was going to TWICE. But instead, laziness overtook him. He instead tried to force me to buy something else because he didnt want to deal with basic customer service. The pet industry is a competitive market. Goodluck staying in business with behavior like this. That and the fact he seldom answers his phone. Ill find other means of what I need... thanks anyways.

I own a pet store in Texas and like to see what other stores are like while traveling. I was happy to see a wide variety and a knowledgable person there. They had some items I have never seen back home and took the time to discuss them with me even tho I wasnt there to buy anything. Would definitely send my fellow coworkers there.
