Not open yet. But looks awesome. Lots of local fresh seafood. I met the owner/chef his vision for the place is going to be epic. Right across from the commons too.

This place is awesome! Went to the soft open!

Great environment! It’s a good place to spend time with your families especially on the weekend. Try the saumon tarte if you don’t mind giving a shot to new things, you should be surprised.

Looking forward

Walk into the garden. Sign says "please wait to be seated." Waited, and waited and waited(3minutes). Looked around, not many occupied tables. Saw a server but they were too busy petting a dog so we went somewhere else for dinner.

Anastasia Gvozdeva

I loved the oysters (great variety), music and atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back and trying more menu items

Wouldn’t really recommend, food is ok, they serve water in plastic cups which is insane. so they keep bringing extra plastic cups when asking for more water. Plastic utensils too… cmon… waitress was very nice though, cool ambience, Thats it lol

Was very excited when this place was being built, and I’m still optimistic that it becomes great, since it has real promise and also I live in the neighbourhood. The staff that is there are great, but the place is obviously short staffed. Drinks come in plastic cups, and we had to ask for silverware and napkins. (There are only so many mussels in butter sauce that I can eat with my fingers before I need to wipe my hands.) The food is good. But it isn’t outstanding. As a bar, the drink menu is not large, and when went a few of drinks listed on the menu that weren’t actually available. Hopefully this is all growing pains — I think they’ve been open only about one month — and I look forward to trying this place again in 6 to 12 months. If you are willing to take a gamble, give them a try, but if you want a guaranteed great dinner, go somewhere else.

An awesome experience! Great food (salmon tartare and hot crab melt - taste and size) environment and people! Oh, the band was super nice and the song selection was sick! A must-see place in Halifax!!!????????

First time visiting this restaurant, and it was lovely! It was very quiet while I was there, and I liked sitting outside near a fire pit. The oysters were fresh, and some of the biggest I've ever had! I appreciated that the staff was observant but not annoyingly attentive considering I was the only person there at one point, and I never had to wait long to be checked in on. I will definitely be back!

I'm convinced this place is a prank! Is Nathan Fielder back there? I did not eat any food here, I'm not that brave, but for a place that's been open only a couple weeks it's already pretty run down, dirty and empty. Decent beer selection? That's all I've got

Mark Taylor

Unreal spot! Great patio and live music. I’d like to please request a s’more kit option on the menu please and thank you ????

I went there and I would not recommended. They serve everything in plastic. Live music is painful to hear. Bad quality sound with constant interference noise and way to much loud, could not hear yourself. They should turn down the volume.

Jaime Casanova

Amazing, hidden gem in the coolest area of Halifax!! Great, fresh seafood at the warmth of a fire pit. And on top of that, Melissa is an amazing host. This place should be a must stop in your itinerary. You won't regret it.

Hongjie Li

All seafood are fresh and high quality, taste prety good. they got lot of different types of beer. I sure is a good place to stay

Robyn DeWolfe

Didn't have half of the things on the menu. The mussels were cold. The shrimp tacos were soggy. My oysters on the half shell were missing their liquor and were not fresh. Service was brutal. Would 100% not recommend.

I had high hopes for this place however it turned into one of the WORST dining experiences I have experienced. To start, they only had 3 items on the menu available. We all decided on muscels, and when they arrived we quickly discovered they were NOT COOKED at all.. We brought us up to our waitress and she offered to put a new batch on after letting us know “this was the first order of the day and the cook hasn’t figured out the steamer yet” How do you not check this prior to serving customers???? They were open for 2 hours prior to us showing up at 7pm on a Saturday.. We declined her offer as it wasn’t worth the risk of food poisoning, paid for our drinks(in which they deglected to leave off the bill?) and left. Will never return. Do not see this place lasting…. Ps: the magic man that visits your table is kinda creepy and should probably ask if you mind before wasting 10 minutes of your time on bad tricks.

They had a menu but nothing was available except for oysters and Doritos chips. Also they use plastic cups, plastic spoons... By 2050, ocean plastic will outweigh all of the ocean’s fish.

kent ross

we had the avo toast and salmon tartare, both were delicious with generous portions. great value for money. service was friendly and very prompt! we sat by a firepit and it was nice and cozy, with live music on a Saturday night it felt like a campout in the city.

Lisa Sebella

Not busy, sick live band, best mussels we've ever had. Good lobster roll too!

J Dong

Food was ok but not everything on the menu is available. Ambient is great at night. Hope to have more table with fire pit for cold days

This place is understaffed, unorganized, and not ready for service.

Love the picnic tables and shade, an excellent location for drinks after softball, soccer or tennis at the nearby Commons. The free peanuts and chips are a nice touch. The deck is hella uneven, look out if you have mobility issues. A lot of made-in-NS drinks and food offerings, but the chef doesn't arrive today until 4:30 or 5 (??????) There's an actual parking space here - I wonder if it's part of the lease? Be amazing if they rented space to food carts and just focused on booze and other drinks. It's 3pm on Pride Saturday and really hot so not a lot of customers. Hopefully this place succeeds, it's got a lot of potential

Calling all lobster lovers! I tried the lobster dinner on the new menu. The lobster is very fresh and the meat tastes sweet. The fire pit table makes me feel warm and cozy. I enjoy tonight pretty much. BTW, I recommend strawberry blonde beer. Ladies will definitely like it~!

I ordered mussels and over half of the mussel shells were empty. Thinking that they all fell to the bottom, I ate what was there and once I reached the bottom, there was only 2 that had fell out. So I essentially got 1/3 of the 1 pound of mussels I paid for. I didn’t want to complain to the server because I am a man of the people and don’t like to be that guy that complains. But this place will go under in no time, so if you want to try it out you might as well go soon. They also served me a can of beer unopened, inside of a plastic cup. They couldn’t even crack it open for me! Illegal AND rude!

Viktoria Winter

The best seafood chowder is here! Trust me, I tried the many of them (sorry Montreal, sorry Vancouver, sorry my delicious Oregon places) - this one the best! It is a great place to be in, enjoy the live music, feel the taste of the ocean, and relax. We will be back :)
