At the moment the business has a score of 4.5 out of 5 and this score is based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that it reaches an reviews average is practically the top, and it's based on a large number of reviews, so we can be pretty sure that the score is quite faithful. If many people have bothered to rate when they are satisfied with the service, it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to set evaluations when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Fish Shop corresponds to the category of Museum.
If you are looking for art, crafts and authentic locally made items this is is a massive do not miss. Been here twice and I'm always impressed by the kindness and service with reasonable pricing. Great water view, food, we spent too long here and messed up some plans for the day
Awsome place filled with shops and little things like that and its super close to the beach
Offer free Wi-Fi with a nice calm harbour view , priceless. Relaxing. Public parking. Over night wifi (cant get wifi just anywheres in the middle of the night)
Beautiful place
Really nice place to bring a family. Cute shops filled with neat stuff and nice restaurants around. There's also a really nice board walk which is nice to walk on after supper as the sun is setting. Everyone there is really friendly (obviously because it's the maritimes) and I go there every year with my family. Definitely a good place to get some maritime-type gifts for family or friends.
Beautiful
Picture perfect fishing village with the Halifax waterfront as it's backdrop. The sunsets here are magical!
Pleasant fishing village we enjoyed our visit.
Awesome maritime place to visit
Amazing shops, lovely location, great shop keepers and restaurants, always running awesome activities and events.
Fisherman's Cove is a great place to visit for both tourists and locals! There's often live music on the boardwalk, lots of fun shops and the food is always great! The boardwalk around the beach is a personal favorite. The views are breathtaking at every step. A perfect city getaway. Just take a moment to breath in the refreshing sea breeze, and let Nova Scotia sink in.
This is a quaint piece of NS delightfulness. Met up with family who had run the Maritime weekend marathon. Music was playing as the runners arrived. Local business were bustling with local gifts, food and something for everyone.
Interesting shops and restaurants. Nice boardwalk and it is accessible by public transit!
So many unique local shops attending to every fisherman, Halifax souvenirs, and obviously Lobster! You won't be disappointed with this cool experience!
This is an attraction for those that are interested in little shops. It makes for some nice photo ops because of the colorful shop buildings and fishing gear in the area.
Nice place to walk!!!!
Nice
Nice area, but not wheelchair accessible. The ramps have drop off that can send people out of there chairs or cause damage to a 4 thousand dollar chair. The stores even the staff in stores saw the chair and gave us a look don't come in here.
A have to spot to see, lots to see
Beautiful! Great boardwalk and ocean views. Lovely place to catch a sunset.
Love strolling around the shops(not opened now...covid) and walking the board walk....very relaxing.
Loved the quaint shops. My family's first visit and kids stayed in the car ????. Hubby and I tried a special Indonesian coffee and liked it. We will go back again.
Lovely seaside boardwalk
Great location to walk
Beautiful, great food, interesting museum
Disappointed. Just a bunch of gift stores and restaurants. Tourist trap
Nice place to visit in the summer to walk around and check out the stores etc. The ice cream stand usually has a great selection of flavours.
Great tourist area with many shops and places to eat. The Boardwalk is nice on a sunny day, quick 10 minute walk with nice views of the passage. The Boardwalk is in need of upkeep, it is showing its age but is overall well kept and tidy. Boondocks is a great place to eat with seafood offerings and traditional pub fare as well.
Love this place! Took my kids down there fishing before, off the dock where the boats are! It's exciting for the kids to catch and release the fish! There are cute little shops lined up for you to visit and a lovely little restaurant! Taking a walk around the boardwalk is always nice, and just sitting on the sandy beach is relaxing! Kids go in and play in the water, and just enjoy being out by the water without being crowded! There's always people walking around with dogs, so if you're an animal lover there's usually a large selection of puppies to pet and hug! We've brought over a little charcoal BBQ before and had a picnic on the beach, that was fun! It's nice and relaxing there! It's busy but not too busy, which is surprising TBH! It's a gorgeous little spot and we absolutely love heading down there and just spending the day there! Have a visit! Can't go wrong visiting here!
Love this cove!! one reason why we moved to this area
Enjoyed exploring the local shops and enjoyed the views.
Authentic 250 year old fishing village where they catch fish not tourists like the other cove. Peggy's Cove
Such a neat little area!!
Didn't really care for it as much as Peggy's Cove. Felt like a bit of a tourist trap.
Little to see too early in the year
Nice place to visit in summer, you can spend quality time with friends and family
(Translated) Ideal for relaxing in the summer (Original) 非常适合夏季放松休闲的好去处
A Great place to see while visiting dartmouth. Cool shops and good food
Heather loves this place it is so amazing I really want to go there please and thank you

Love this beach.
Quaint tourist spot.

a fantastic boardwalk here..lots of food places..nice place to meet people!
Beautiful view and great local businesses
I would love to move down near this beach and fisherman's cove. Very great place to come down in the evening and soak up on sun and the fresh air.
Boondocks food/service was ok
Neat little place with lots of colourful shops and a great view!
Beautiful enchanting fishermenas village. The water is crystal clear! The food is delicious!
It is a beautiful ???? with lots of stores and restaurants but it could be a little cleaner
Always a must stop when I visit my aunt and uncle. Love going there, a little shopping and a great lunch. The shops are unique and amazing finds. What makes me feel good is all of their goods are made locally, be by amazing young kids. Can't think of a better reason to shop there????
Beautiful location for a short stroll, a long walk (at the beach park), an all-day visit, shopping, getting a bite to eat, buying fresh seafood or just enjoying the beautiful view.
Great walk on a new pier As we await the plague lifting....
Love taking the wife to Fisherman's Cove. We usually go to Coffee, Tea and Sea and really enjoy the food there.
Was here for Maritime Race Weekend, Had a blast and the shops were fun to browse in. Great tourist spot!
Great staff at the Heritage Centre! Very helpful
Can't wait to come back and experience it when everything is open. The coffee tea and sea shop owner was very helpful in the goings-on of the area and was one of only 3 establishments open at this time of year. We shall return!
Tourists. And tourists.
Beautiful
Nice area with little local shops and restaurants. If you're coming for a walk there's a nice path to walk around the shore line.
Nice little Wharf area close to the city that you really good that Nova Scotia feel.
Beautiful way to spend a day
Middle of tourist season and many of the shops are closed..music was great ...
Lovely place, nice for a walk with kids
Colours popped.
I love taking photos here, it's a great spot to eat too!
Love the little unique shops and artists!
Beautiful Beaches
Such a beautiful place, words can't quite capture how quaint and peaceful it is. A must see!
Lots of local vendors. The view and smell of the ocean is amazing
had a private function, great staff assistance and lovely venue
Great place for lunch at BoonDocks. Enjoyed walking through the gift stores. I met a few of the fishermen who where very nice.
Great food
Lovely spot to stop, brows and grab a bite to eat! We go every year!
Eat lunch here every day! Beautiful Spot.
Fishing then grab a treat or two. Maybe hand pick a lobster and watch them cook it up for ya. Locals are awesome people to talk to if not from the area
Fisherman's Cove is one of most popular places in the city, for good reason. Today was the official opening for the season and it was lovely. Perfect weather for walking the boardwalks and exploring the many new shops. It's easy to spend an entire afternoon here and still not see everything. The food available is excellent, as well.
Nice little local shops.
Good seafood
Great place to walk ..lounge... enjoy a beautiful day. Shop..
It is a quaint fisherman village with colourful shops and colourful people in the shops. You can catch a ride to Mcnab's island from here, meet with amazing artist and if you are lucky you will see the oriates and mermaids!
Not a lot here
Awesome!!!! I had a great time in there!!
Many unique shops and restaurants
A lovely spot to visit for the day. Lots of local shops, restaurants, ice cream shops. A beautiful boardwalk that wraps along the shoreline facing Lawlors Island and McNabs Island. From here, you can also catch the McNabs Island Ferry to McNabs for a day of exploring the island.
A nice little spot on the water. I did the Maritime Race Weekend here and this area was the start finish line. Great experience over all.
Good family times!
(Translated) If you are looking for a unique experience in Halifax, I would recommend this fishing village. You can enjoy the simple works of local artists and buy unique items. You can enjoy the harmonious scenery of the sea and the fishing village, and the beautiful sunsets of the sea. I attended a First Aid & CPR course at Fishermand Cove
Great spot for food and local beers.
Beautiful spot
Nice place to visit for a couple of hours, during the summer.
A fishing village in the city. Beautiful views, creative shops, good food.
nice for tourists
Such a quaint, charming place to visit, unique shops and easily accessible if handicapped
Great tourist spot, plan time for food and shop but a great mid day culturAl adventure
Seaside village with charming little shanty stores.
Fisherman’s Cove in Eastern Passage is a great hidden gem of a spot in Halifax. There are quite a few stores selling local art. Also several choices for eating. On a hot day like today, you can’t go wrong with an ice cream. If you are in the area mid-August, go down for the annual Tallahassee Days to celebrate being a pirate or mermaid princess.
This is such a wonderful place to visit. There are many small shops, some of which are closed in the winter, but there are two shops that stay open in the winter. One of them is a place called "Coffee Tea & Sea", of which I have a few pictures of, and the other is a gift shop. Wonderful and welcoming people is who you see there. I very highly recommend this area to everyone.
Great people.
Picturesque cove with shops, restaurants and a walking trail...well worth the visit!
Beautiful place with good views and restaurants.
Nice spot. I've never been there but it's a cool place to grab a chocolate soft serve and do some fishing.
Beautiful view
Love it
Really love the experience. To see local artwork, painting and traditions. Nice to visit and talk to all the people there.
Lovely local shops and great boardwalk
Alot of it was closed, very nice you g lady in the visitor center .. she knew alot about the area
Great spot. Love that it just on outskirts of dartmouth. Wonderful for kids and it helps to have ice and shops right there.
Nice view and good food and souvenirs.
unfortunately i visited this place after 5 pm, most places where closed
(Translated) It's cute and if you are in the corner, it cat the shot to go there. (Original) C'est mignon et si vous êtes dans le coin, ça chat le coup d'y passer.
Nice row of stores nestled in a picturesque setting.
Nice spot to visit. Love the little shops and the boardwalks. ????
The place itself is a must see.
Beautiful and definitely worth the trip!
Rustic still active fishing village. Good seafood. Walk to beach & boardwalk.
Very quaint village, touristy but best ice cream ever!
Beautiful. First trip out here and loved every minute.
Beautiful spot
Great experience!
Fun place to walk around and shop souvenirs
Lots of craft shops and a few places for food and treats. Dockside Donuts is a highlight - head to the end of the craft area. First building you pass on the way in is a museum and worth seeing. *Note that the end of the docks is an active fishing area and not a tourist show. Stay out of the way if you see the lads working!
Fisherman's Cove is just a nice small quaint area for a lazy afternoon. Walk on the boardwalk. Check out the shops. Have some lunch. Great place to relax and take it all in.
When the tide is out the kids can run in the mud. Lots of quaint stores.
Check out the Pirate days some time in August, good times for the kids and grown ups
Small but well organized with Nova Scotia and Halifax guide maps. Has small displays. Staff were friendly. Nice little wharf with shops to walk along and the view of the water and Lawlor Island. Nice for a boardwalk stroll.
One of our favorite places to visit and take in the scenery!
Such a nice little place to visit. It has a variety of little shops including hand crafts, a candy shop with ice cream, a restuarant and an art gallery. There is a restaurant and a newly added fixed and floating dock so boaters can access the area for lunch or sight seeing. There is a very nice Memorial to local Fisherman's and it is right beside McCormack Beach.
So relaxing with great views!!
Incredible views, amazing boardwalk and such adorable little shops. Great place for a walk with family friends and significant others.
(Translated) There are nicer places (Original) Es gibt schönere Orte
Wow smell of the ocean
Beautiful quiet walking trail overlooking the ocean
Simply beautiful.
Fabulous part of Dartmouth, sandy oasis full of nature. Boarded walks and picturesque walking paradise!
Love this spot. Can go walking on the boardwalk no matter what the season is. Although this is a spot more for the summer as most of the business are closed expect for 2. Love just being able to get a drink and watch the water and relax.
Great scenic spot to walk, visit, have a meal. City meets old-timey fishing wharf!
Great place for a little walk after a meal. Has a candy store open during the summer season and ice cream. Also decent restaurants walking distance.
Pretty place with lots of small shops selling mostly locally made artisanal items.
Just a small room of artifacts and historical data.
What an amazing spot, had lunch at boondocks and it was amazing.
Great place to go on a sunny day. Nice short boardwalk. When going for sea food, I prefer the place at the tip of the loop that is sorta run down and hidden.
This is a great scenic area to spend an afternoon or morning exploring. Lots of unique little shops and places to eat, and a boardwalk near the water to take in the ocean scenery
Not too crowded. Public bathroom.
Very picturesque. We got some small items in the gallery and enjoyed meeting one of the local artists.
Pleasant place and nice people most recommended
Great View, the boondocks restaurant was fine, but their seafood linguine was delicious.
Nice little shops around and it's a great place to go for a walk
Stunning
Cute spot. A few art and craft shops. Good ice cream.
Great place to take a walk by the harbour and do a little tourist shopping with some local crafts available. You can also get a bite to eat, buy some fresh fish or just relax on a bench to enjoy the sunshine as you people watch. Friendly people everywhere you turn. Also washrooms available!!
Awesome place to take the family
Gorgeous scenery, lots of cute little shops, plenty of places to stop and enjoy the view.
Great fudge at seaside casual.
really good
(Translated) Very beautiful, nice view (Original) Muito bonito, bela vista
Shop by the sea. Interesting shops near a boardwalk and s beach.
Scenary is fantastic and if you are a seafood lover it is the place to be. Especially boondocks it in or take out. Incredible
By the sea... Local vendors and nearby beach.
Beautiful spot nice friendly people
Gorgeous place. Was there for Maritime Race Weekend 2018.
Interesting place to visit. Good places for lunch and ice cream and lots of unique gift shops. A nice place to walk along the board walk and look at the different coloured buildings or fishing boats.
The only drawback is that all stores are not open year round, but it makes sense, I'm sure, for those merchants who own them. Lovely shops, great country feel and an excellent coffee/tea house with deliciously wonderful, homemade meals. Entertainment in the Summer. A must see for any visitor.
Great shops and views
Beauty place to visit in summer day
Pretty good area, the boardwalk is nice but unsurprisingly most of the shops of fairly expensive but that's to be expected in a tourist area. Good to see if you're not a local.
Lovely spot to visit with family. Lots of little shops, restaurants and places to explore. The boardwalk makes it easy to get around and connects to a nice walk around the salt marsh.
(Translated) Fisherman's wharf We took a walk on the quay. we visited the shops, and ate in a small seafood restaurant, but we did not visit the museum. (Original) Quai de pêcheurs Nous avons pris une marche sur le quai. nous avons visité es boutiques, et mangé dans un petit restaurant de fruits de mer, mais nous n'avons pas visité le musé.
Nice place to visit with family or friends. There are big parking, good fish and chips, about 2 km to walk in ocean front, pirfect ice cream & tea.
It is a lovely relaxed place with great little shops right on the ocean.
Lovely.
It was great. Enjoyed visiting the quaint shops and the weather that day was remarquable. Another beautiful corner of our great country.
(Translated) It is in a fishing village, with a museum, several shops, cafeterias and restaurants nearby. Unfortunately on the day we went to visit, the 2 lobster shops were not open. But walking on the nearby beach, watching fishermen fishing, the trail on the deck is worth the ride! I'm biased because I live in Eastern Passage, but I think it is one of the underrated gems of Nova Scotia. I would like to see better bathroom facilities and more businesses (why 4 and not 5 stars).. But the shops are nice and the people friendly.
Great shops, food and walk...
Lovely little spot with shopping, food and the ocean.
Simply gorgeous
It was ok not a lot of shops
It might have been because it was a cloudy day but there were not a lot of people around. I did try the food at a restaurant in the area and it was great!
A board walk full of vendors and the smell of salt air greets tourists and locals alike during the summer season. People are friendly and ready to share good natured stories about the area.
Quaint, authentic, and close to the city.
We enjoyed our souvenir shopping here! Bought our dogs collar with maritime patterns, a carved chainsaw puffin & handmade NS artisan soaps!
A good tourist stop
Kul history and scenery.
Had a great time
A good place to relax or do some exercise and have a bite to eat there is a few restaurant's there some coffee shops and alot of gift shops there you can buy fresh seafood there too so there is a little something for everyone there.
Small little shops to browse
Love this place.
Historical interests
Great little fishing village.. All kinds of artisans and vendors....lovely way to spend an afternoon....buy local! They have a lovely array of items for wearing and for buying for gifts...

A great place to stop and learn the heritage of fisherman's cove. You can also buy a t-shirt or freshen up in the public washroom.
Just lovely
(Translated) Beautiful area. Beautiful seascapes, we could observe some birds of the shore. Small varied shops. We bought sweet / savory sweets in a small shop and ate very well at the Boondocks. (Original) Très bel endroit. Beaux paysages marins, nous avons pu observer quelques oiseaux du rivage. Petites boutiques variées. Nous avons acheté des bonbons sucrés/salés dans une petite boutique et avons très bien mangé au Boondocks.
Beautiful spot to visit not too far from the city centre.
Absolutely breath taking....
Great little place. Huge community support.
Its too bad it's closed in the winter but come spring it's a great little place to visit with the small shops with local gifts and good food. Take a stroll and walk the boardwalk and enjoy the shops and food
Great place to visit. Too bad the drivers can't read direction signs. Almost run over by cars trying to come in via the no entry sign.
One of our favourite places to revisit, our dog loves it too!
Not intresting for us from Toronto. We thought there is a good place to enjoy the old view of the boats and fishers but it was not. We even could not take a good photo. Maybe good for the local people. Not recommended to visit unless there is some improvement.
Beautiful place with good food.
Cute spot but under utilized. There was less here than we expected, and then had trouble getting a taxi to pick us up to take us back to downtown Halifax. This is more a community park than a tourist attraction.
A lot of stores didnt open...came in the wrong time
Love to wander along the boardwalk. There are great places to dine and some fast foods. Gift shops, art gallery. Lots to see!
Small but sandy beach - it's a great spot to wade or take in the ocean. The area has a great boardwalk and is littered with small shops and places to eat. It feels far out of the city despite being able to get there relatively easily by bus.
Always love a visit here when I am home! Quaint little place to shop, walk, sit and enjoy a meal.
Great scenic place to visit. Lots of nice little shops to visit. Great family eating also. A nice little fishing wharf also. Nice little beech on the harbor next door which is very scenic and lovely to walk.
Very unique little shops to buy handmade items (whale tail hooks, glass dream catchers, paintings, jewelry and more!) and it's not very expensive. Not always open yr round, so check before going.
Scenic place to enjoy your evening. Fairly good hiking trail.... Ocean water didn't look that clean...
Always nice to watch the waves come onshore. Lots of little boutiques to check out, and great seafood.
Beautiful and fun, loved the energy of the place and it has two lovely restaurants and other stores to entertain you ???? A must go for locals visitors alike.????
Fisherman's cove is an awesome place I go there alot with friends and family for ice cream and the beach. It's really fun
Fun place to walk the boardwalks and shop around.Great seafood around here.

Beautiful
Nice boardwalk
A nice place to visit and see all the sites
Being here on spring is relaxing but lonely
Great seasonal shopping, restaurants and walkway in mouth of the Harbour.
A nice place to stop for souvenirs and ice cream by the sea.
Beautiful area with beaches, ferries, rentals for activities and many shops and eateries. Definitely recommend visiting this area I'd you are in Halifax and want to slow things down and enjoy a more casual atmosphere. Area is well kept and clean and there is an information building with washrooms giving you everything you can find, or you can walk the area which is more friendly for pedestrians than cars. Parking at the beach is highly recommended.
Had amazing ice cream in little store at the end. Definitely would like to come back and explore more.
Nice place for a visit
Grandfather got grant to get this little fishing village and shacks all re done to turn it into what it is today. Beautiful.
A great spot for a stroll. The old fashioned boardwalk has gift shops and restaurants theming with the fishing culture and pirate fashion. The sandy beach and wetland offers kids a natural playground.
A must see for any tourist! If I lived there I'd definitely visit on the regular!
Very nice shop village beside the boardwalk.
Beautiful waterfront boardwalk, lots of cool little shops and snack huts.
Lovely
I we Among Friends social club had I nice walk around enjoyed ice cream Over all a great day !
Great place to walk around. There's little shops and restaurants to eat at.
A bit run down
Beautiful place . Scenic beauty of sky meets sea. Authentic seafood joints adds flavor to the fun of ride.
I've visited her a couple of times. Very nice. Cute shops. Nice & friendly people. The views are beautiful. Lovely country we live in. The beautiful cold Atlantic. East coast is lovely.
Lovely
One of my favorite places to visit.
Every one should visit here
Great place....enjoyed it very much
Cute shops, yummy ice cream ????
Such a cool place! Love all the small shops & set up.
Absolutely beautiful
Such a peaceful and beautiful place
Took my cousin from Germany and spent a few hours. Really great afternoon, great little shops, really good food and finished wish a nice walk on the boardwalk. Need to go here more often.
Such an easy drive from Halifax and what a fun place to visit! The shops are adorable, with so many unique items and the staff are so friendly! The board walk is great for all ages. The beach is near by for a stroll and for beach combing but not a great place to swim. We didn’t go to the restaurant but it was very busy when we were there in September. We will definitely be coming back to do some Christmas shopping.
Good food. Interesting shops.
Not that many people were there when we went couple of daya ago. This place has few seafood places to eat, as well as different shops.
Cool museum with lots of authentic items and mementoes.
Didnt see many fishermen
Visited at low and high tide. Great short hike. Local shop nearby
Nice little village of artisans
(Translated) We didn't visit the museum, just the shop (Original) On n'a pas visite le musée, juste là boutique
Love being her by the sea
Although it hasn't been updated, it is always an interesting quick free stop ????
Such a cute place. Did lots of Christmas shopping to take home to Manitoba
Walk around and lot winds there than be in Highfield got less wind and hot
Adorable place to walk around and grab some unique, handcrafted, locally made gifts. Service in all the shops is great and you'd be surprised how great a lot of the prices are
Very clean interesting great place to visit. Try the food outlets awesome.
Beautiful place. Can't wait for shops to open.
Cozy
Nice people. Very helpful
Everyone there was awesome. Super friendly and pet friendly as well!
good place to see big lobsters and walk
Amazing part of Nova Scotia. Outstanding friendliness
A very awesome place
Clean, bright meeting place
A little known treasure!!
Great place
Awsome
A must for every visitor to Nova Scotia
The best place! Will definitely come back
Great place for the pets friends and family
Beautiful view , wonderful broad walk
Great local gift stores. Well worth the trip.
Nice place but the boardwalk close to fisherman memorial is broken and Parks Nova Scotia still haven't repaired it since it was broken in February. Anyone using a wheelchair, walker or stroller will find it difficult to push through the crushed gravel. You would think they would have repaired it before tourist season.
Long drive for me but worth it in the long run.
A great experience
(Translated) Very pretty and typical (Original) Très joli et typique
Lots of little shops
Amazing place ❤
beautiful spot
Love all the little shops and activities!
Awesome and beautiful
Came to paint and i enjoyed my stay. The beach looks inviting and there is a good selection of tourist shops and actual fishing businesses. Will be returning.
A cute stop especially if you're a tourist. May spend a few dollars here if travelling.
Lovely east coast atmosphere. Great food shacks and walking area
Friends from away love it. Its a great tourist place. Also the boardwalk is very popular in the summer. Plenty of friendly fair priced places to choose from. You can see the ocean and Devil's Island offshore.
Unique little spot in the passage
Great seafood and views and location.
Great spot for families and tourists ????????
Nice little place for shopping at gift shops and there was a nice little beach
Awesome
Quite and lots of parking .2 nice shops open
Lovely place to go for a walk or to find that unique gift.
Real working fishing dock nice boardwalk some pretty little shops
Small cove interesting history great lobster sandwich available.
This isn't a museum.its a tourist trap
Nice quiet place to come and relax. Walk the board walk or just watch the sights.
It is a beautiful place. High Recommendation
Quaint fishing town with colourful houses. Nice place to relax. We came here on Thanksgiving afternoon close to sunset, most shops were close due to Thanksgiving but enjoying it more.
Lobster cooked at Lobster Dive
Great place to walk on the boardwalk, nice little shops, and lots of good food.
Because they have a beautiful view and the people are great. The stores r also nice to go in. It is all around great place
Good food, affordable shopping and beautiful board walk with beach....what more could you ask for?
Such great shops and so quaint with brightly painted little buildings. A wonderful place to purchase unique gifts, take a walk on the boardwalk or grab a bite from the local merchants and restaurants. A great place for dogs as well. Once you've visited you cannot stop thinking about returning.

Very nice place to visit. Have a meal. Take a walk.
Great lil place just love the boardwalk.and the shops
Cute little touristy area . Small shops with lots of interesting trinkets. Great place to find Nova Scotia souvenirs .
Great place for a walk ... Lots of great shops and interesting places to see ... Ice cream as well as the taxi to McNabs island.
In fact fishing village with the best low cost and original gift stores anywhere much of it local made
Lots of unusual items that you don't find in other shops.
(Translated) Loved the place. It is a very picturesque and preserved fishing village. It is worth knowing. (Original) Adorei o lugar. Trata-se de uma vila de pescadores bem pitoresca e preservada. Vale a pena conhecer.
Great place for a party :) Great staff, great view
Very nice here for walking or site seeing
I feel that it is over rated. It's a small area with just shops and tourists. It stated that it is an old fishing village from the 1800s but I did not get that particular feel. It does not compare to Peggy's Cove or Lunnenburg. Prices are also high.
Beautiful shops, something for everyone. Delicious fresh seafood
I had the opportunity to take Sherry Copeland and Mrs. Jones there some years ago and bought them both pewter keychains . At that time it was George Jones farewell tour .
Great place to shop / fish /walk
Really underwhelming. Waste of time.
Quaint little shops with nifty handmade crafts.
Really a gem for those who want to get and get access to some of the best Halifax and Nova Scotia have to offer. We ate fish and chips, had a drink at the Boondocks patio, rented bikes and took a ferry to McNabs Island. Great experience and would do it again.
Beautiful spot to visit and have a walk and meet people and pets also lots of stores and places to have a coffee or a meal or ice cream oh yes I for got the lobster and the mussels
Great mix of restored village, speciality stores, restaurant and working fishing port with stunning views and ferries to McNabs and other islands as well as a nature walk. Small museum tells story of Eastern Passage community. Relaxed.
Nice little tourist spot outside downtown Halifax.
Srunning place. Love it
So many shops and good food at fisherman's cove. Love going here!
Best to hit it when events are being hosted in the area. Otherwise a few shops and restaurants are the only things open.
Awesome place
Great place sadly arrived a bit late but enjoyed it definently going back
one time i bought a glass bottle and tripped on rocks and gashed opened my arm and had to go to the ER. it was fun and a great experience 10/10
Very nice place! There are many little shops directly on the water. There is also a restaurant, with really good food
Pirate Festival time at Fishermen's Cove! Aug 21 and 22. Live bands, colourful pirates, and weapon demonstrations. All venues open and kid friendly. Due to Covid, advertising has been suppressed to keep the numbers down, so parking and …
Unique little shops. I love anything on the ocean. Best fish and chips.
Great outdoor band playing music on the boardwalk.
Awesome
Beautiful and quaint area, friendly staff throughtout
Had a good time
We went to see the extent of the damage caused by the recent storm. It was amazing what the storm surge did to the boardwslk
Adorable little fishing village along the Marine Drive scenic drive near Dartmouth. It's hard to remember you're near the city once you stop by for a visit. Quaint little locally-owned shops selling east coast wares and plenty of food options. Beautiful boardwalk nearby and excellent views of the ocean and the downtown core from this place.
Love this place especially Preserving Traditions..Boondocks and Joe's Candy Shoppe; but the management running this group of shops is biased, and is going to run this place into the ground. The best shops they have they are getting rid of in any manner they can. If they don't like you they will put you out!!
Lots of talented artists here.
Excellent meal great price only complaint a little warm inside
What a good place to go in the summertime.
It is a lovely place to enjoy! Will return! A mini Peggy's Cove to me!
(Translated) Near Halifax, suitable for a short day trip. You can also explore the Eastern Shore from here. (Original) In der Nähe von Halifax, für eine kurzen Tagesausflug geeignet. Man kann von hier aus auch den Eastern Shore erkunden.
Interesting and informative.
It was great to make Fisherman's cove part of our day trip. Nice shops, great food.
Fun shopping, eats and beautiful walk.
Great spot to spend a couple hours poking around for some one of a kind treasures! The shop owners are as unique and lovely as the items they sell! Be sure to add this stop to your list if you are in the area.
Lots of local artisans.
Recently bought a house in Eastern Passage and we are in love with Fisherman's Cove! Friendly people, great selection of shops, and a beautiful boardwalk!
AWESOME spot. You have to work a little bit to get there but the views are worth it. You'll be joined by very few people. Feel free to bring your camping equipment and have the best spot in Nova Scotia.
We rented the Fisherman's Cove Museum for a birthday party. It was a perfect venue for a mid-afternoon get together.
Great
Great place to visit
Beautiful place to walk.
Nice community and friendly people
Cute little shops in colourful buildings on the water. Nice restaurant with great food ????
Great little afternoon with my family here. Just hung out on the boardwalk and ate at Boondocks.
Beautiful place
Beautiful oceanfront spot in Eastern Passage, N.S., for local boutique shopping, fresh-from-the-ocean fish n'chips or a walk along the boardwalk.
(Translated) Very picturesque place, beautiful view! (Original) Lieu très pittoresque, belle vue!

Best place ever, people are so nice and its peaceful town ..highly recommended to visit
Beautiful
Quaint village with some good artisan shops. Nice walk along the boardwalk with good views of Halifax from the Dartmouth side. Ice cream was really good!
Lovely little Nova Scotia fishing village. Many interesting shops filled with local art and crafts. Great place to visit. Also a lovely boardwalk for a stroll and great views. Season opening is June 1st but a few shops already open. There is also an interpretation centre with public washrooms, an ice cream store and a restaurant.
Coolio
Friendly shopkeepers, lots of cool finds in the shops. A bakery treat is a must. Good food, my favorite fish and chips are found here. Here for Maritime race weekend and the locals make it worth it.
