Probably best lobster retail store in Nova Scotia. Part of the publicly traded company. Store has more types of fish for sale but Clearwater is most known for its lobster. They offer boxes for travelling.

Great place for your lobster feast. I have used this location 2 years in a row for our large family gathering. Lobster has been fresh and tasty both times. Second time there we ended up purchasing our lobster pre cooked. Had a couple of lobster that were quite overcooked and therefore the meat was tough. Other than that, staff and establishment still 5 star. See you next summer.

Great experience purchasing here. I told them I would be driving about 13-14 hrs back to Ottawa and they lacked the box with some gel packs and told me to keep and eye on the gel pack and if anything just buy a bag of ice from the gas station. Great service and great lobsters

A great selection of lobsters, open nice and early for Father's Day. However, it really irritates me when Seafood stores say "Premium lobster" @ a specific price and when you get there the prices then vary based on size, which they DON'T post. Just in case anyone needs clarification, "Premium lobster" is the name given to any lobster in a hard shell that is fresh out of the water and hasn't been in a tank for a day or more and starts to lose its weight. Just post all the prices in the flyer! Don't mislead people.

I like going there. It's always clean and doesn't smell like a bag of dead fish. The prices are reasonable and you can find seafood products that you can't always find in other establishments. I got the stuff I needed to make fish and Brewis. Can't wait for that.

Staff is generally helpful and the place is always clean. The variety of fish is not always stellar but what they have is always fresh. They always have loads of fresh live lobster, which is great but their frozen section contains a lot of really good stuff like pre-prepared surf clams. They even have whole fresh octopus at times.

I get a lot of Lobster from here. You pay for the grade of Lobster you want. Want bigger or better lobster, expect to pay more per pound. Sobeys has one per pound price for the lobster, regardless of quality or size. I shop at Sobeys if I'm buying for myself and Clearwater when I'm entertaining.

Love my seafood! When friends and family visit, we always manage to pick up some fresh seafood, i.e. lobster and/or mussels, in particular. It has always been fresh and a great feast for all. They have a great variety of seafood, fresh or frozen. You can't go wrong. Treat yourself or others you like, to a fantastic, easy to make meal. They pack lobster for shipping at the Halifax Airport or Bedford Highway!

We generally have a great experience here but the last two visits on the same weekend we were met with less than stellar service. Totally curt and unwelcoming responses when we were spending over $100. The weekday staff were much better and talked to us and showed us the different lobster grades and let us take pictures with the kids. The weekend staff actually told us no pictures suddenly. I had out of town guests who were just excited about being able to purchase lobster for $8.99. No need to rain on their excitement. Not sure why there is such a big difference in service quality but hope they straighten it out.

A variety of seafood, but less than half of what you would expect from a seafood leader...fish is over processed/overpriced, some whole fish, but too many deboned/and with no head ...hard to make fish stock from skin. Shell fish have no heads either, again nothing to make stock with. Scallops have no roa, we should have a choice! We bought lobster at a decent price, steamed 15 min, some of the best in a long while.

More varieties than the one at airport. I bought octopus, live lobsters and live oysters. Highly recommend since you can take it on airplane with you. There's military discount if you work for military. The only con is the price. It's not as cheap as you think it might be. Gotta pay premium for fresh sea food.
