other review MUST be from the owner because this has to be the WORST sports store in Guelph, period. The person behind the counter has zero sense of customer service and is by the far the laziest and least considerate store keeper that I've ever met. Do NOT buy any of their outdated junk or a license here because he will not advise you on any savings until he processes the sale. Once he had processed our licenses, he began to tell my girlfriend how she could have saved money but now it's too late then wouldn't give us our money back because it had "passed the 15 minute void period". Go at your own risk, be sure you know exactly what you're looking for, get a receipt (not that I think it matters to them) and be sure of what you're getting into before wasting your money lining this clown's pockets. Edit: even after all of this bs, the guy actually followed me out like he wanted to fight but I know a rat when I see one (standing at the door with a smug grin, happy that he had ripped me off), so I didn't give his face the bruising it so rightfully deserved. Karma will have the last laugh, trust that.

Great customer service ! Bought a St. Croix last year and broke it on Bass Opener 2017. I brought the rod to the store (even with no receipt) and the boss said nothing but helped with mailing the rod and then replaced a new one after couple of weeks with no cost (except the shipping fee). Great customer service!

I went to go ice fishing this past weekend I first stopped off at another bait supplier but their doors weren't open til 9 a.m. now Kingsway also says they open at 9 but they were actually open before and I was able to get my bait and start fishing instead of waiting around for an hour.

these guys are great.Steve u must have had a bad experience. i have dealt with these guys for 15-20 years and never had a bad experience. these guys all of them including the ones that are no longer with us have always provided me with advise whenever asked, in fact I have fishing rods delivered to my door at no extra cost. i always treat people with respect and in return i get respect back. i don't know the situation at the time but i guarantee that this is very unusual for this to happen.If you where to go back and let them know your issues I am sure you will be treated fair. A business is there to make a profit however you should always ask questions before you make a decision on a purchase. I PERSONALLY feel bad for your experience but please don't fault a company on one bad experience.

Kingsway has great gear at good prices. A lot of other places are high pressure and high prices, Kingsway is not the case. If you have a product that fails, they will help you out to get you back fishing.

As always, Colin, Mary and Pat were helpful and accommodating. Their friendliness and knowledge make up for the massive varieties available at places like Bass Pro and Cabelas. I have been going to Kingsway Fishing for years and have yet to be ldisappointed. The small town atmosphere and helpfulness keeps me going back for all my fishing needs.

Didnt realize until it was too late, but guy sold me on a rod And said it was for what i was asking. After research and now knowing myself more, can say that he just said that to make the sale. Unfortunate because i spend a lot on fishing stuff a year and they won't see a penny of it.
