So pleasantly surprised by the customer service I encountered today. My dog has been having quite the anxious, bad-energy vibe lately, but for some reason, the employee that helped me (can't remember name, but he looked like a teenager with black hair and a beard?) was able to take the time to coax her into a sense of calm that wasn't the case beforehand. Came in here with our pup after hitting KVEC and needing to have a non-collar solution. The two staff members working spent their time taking care of our sore and sedated girl; trying on various harnesses until we found the perfect fit - and if a 70lb Doberman likes you, then we like you. Super service, great selection and no complaint about the prices. Highly recommend!

The staff gave me information I did not even get from my vet about my dogs food allergies AND it turns out the staff was totally correct. I have switched my Jack Russell's food and he has been very happy and no longer chews on his own paws. Thanks Global Pet Foods in Kitchener. His next visit, the vet was even surprised how well my dog was doing.

This is not a review of services, but rather of compassion. The staff today denied my 4 year old daughter bathroom use, and I can't imagine how heartless someone must be to make that decision. Shame on them. Company policy is clear in some establishments to not allow bathroom use, this I understand, but to deny a CHILD a basic need is just... ick.

Was very upset as a patron of this store for well over a decade, my last purchase was a few weeks ago and I will only buy from Global now on University or his other stores he owns. I had always received a 10% breeder discount and when I asked for it the last time, I was told that it is not available and that they have never offered it even though I have gotten it for the past 10 years or so. I explained when I signed up for it and the blonde who told me she owned the store and I was later corrected by another store as she is not an owner, told me that she has never offered it even though she has run the store for three years. I told her to check my records because I was not lying, and she said that she did not say I was lying, and I told her if she's telling me I never got the discount, what I am saying that I have, then she is in fact calling me a liar. At all the other global pet foods I am automatically offer the 10% discount, and I would have to ask at the Strasburg location for it to be applied. Sometimes I didn't bother because it took too much time, but after being called a liar, they will never see another purchase from me. The university store I always went to but stopped because I moved, will once again be my store. I spend an enormous amount of money on my dogs, and I don't expect to be treated this way as I am doing so. I had made friends with two of the clerks who have always been super friendly and accommodating and rarely saw this woman. I told her that she was going to lose a customer if she continued to disbelieve what I had said to her, and she was adamant that I have never received it.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Staff is EXTREMELY rude and have no manners, we were never greeted or questioned if we needed any help. We waited outside the door for about 5 minutes, when we were finally let in the girl asked “do you want to come inside?” As if we were standing there with two dogs for no reason? The girl with the blue hair demanded that if my puppy were to pee or make a mess on the floor we would have to clean it up as the others stood behind the counter laughing. When confronted, they were speechless and stared at each other like idiots. Unprofessional. I would NOT recommend this location to anyone! I have never experienced such terrible customer service.

I called and explained that my cat is finicky he will only eat certain food.my wife who is ill with a certain blood disease relies our cat for comfort and support. food was bought and he was given it 2x .and he was sick2x my wife was told bring it back no problem...no receipt was given. my wife was informed it's not necessary....i tried to explain my debit card shows the purchased and still refused to refund my money....a gift card was offered for food that could make him sick...this is why i will only go to CRITTER COVE no receipts required and friendly service by people who are way more sensitive to SENIOR CITIZENS...

Great variety of product. Lots of toys and treats! They have great dog food brands. The staff is super welcoming and friendly. I had requested them put food on hold for me and they didn't hesitate to do it! Very helpful. My dogs love visiting them. Highly recommend.

The only thing I bought regularly at K & K was bulk dog biscuits, which were very reasonably priced. I was in the store today and learned that they do not stock bulk biscuits any more as "they do not fit in with their store's profile," or some such reason, so I had to buy prepackaged biscuits. I was pleased to find a packet of organic biscuits, but imagine my surprise and horror when I had to pay $9.99 for 205g. I won't be shopping there again. There are plenty of other stores around where I can get what I am looking for, or I will opt to make my own dog biscuits (which I used to do until my dogs realized one day that they liked store bought better when I did not have time to make them myself. Dogs, eh?)

The store is a bit messy and hectic when you first walk in but the staff explain that they are going through renovations and trying to get the store back in order. The girls there were extremely kind and helpful to help me re find all of the food i usually get as well as help me pick out a toy. The store seems to be off to a better start than before and I plan on returning to see.

I was shopping at global pet foods in Orillia, and I was absolutely DISGUSTED how the owner was speaking to her staff. It was extremely disrespectful she was yelling at them, calling them names, etc. I have never witnessed something so horrible in a workplace, I feel terrible for the staff working there, they are being treated like worthless people. I literally put down what I was going to buy and walked out. I will never buy from here and I want more people to know how the staff there are being treated by this owner!!

I love the transformation this store has gone through. As the renovations can stress some stores staff out especially if they stay open during them they seemed to handle it well. I have dealt Global for quite some time and staff should be proud as they are the best for service and quite comparable in pricing to other stores. For those that buy bones for their shepherd they should read the label or as most vet's suggest not to give bones to your dog as they could splinter.

Gave us wrong food as employee looked on computer. I called to say you gave us wrong food we live down the st we will be right there. They close at 8. That's fine.w E get there 8:02 he's vacuuming. I am not sure what is going on in this store recently. I frequent it often and this is the very first time I have ever had a bad experience. I tried to return large bag of unopened dog food that I purchased a couple days before and I was told they couldn't do the return. The poor cashier said she needed a manager but they did not have one and she called her district manager infront of me and got no answer. I stood waiting for 30 minutes and still had to return back home with the same food. Not happy at all that was a full waste of my time.
