I knew what kind of trailer I was looking for and although there were a couple of similar models available in Alberta and BC, the sales staff (especially Christine) at McGoverns won my business. Christine treated me with respect and didn't overwhelm me with call-backs like the other companies did. She didn't assume to know things or spout inaccurate information, but researched answers and responded accordingly. I purchased the unit sight unseen and the service staff (especially Kevin and Stephanie) jumped through hoops for us, ensuring the unit was totally ready to hit the Alaska Highway during snowfall, Yukon-bound. The new (to me) 5th wheel is everything I hoped for. McGoverns RV did a great job making sure my purchase was a good one. I HIGHLY recommend calling McGoverns if you're looking for an RV (or other products they sell). Can't wait to hit the road!

GOING ON 9 MONTHS! We called McGoverns to ask if they could do some repairs to the cabinets in our trailer 9 months ago, they said yes. 9 MONTHS later they STILL have our trailer and still have not even started it! In the beginning we weren't to worried about it, it was October and they had all winter to get it done. We should have paid attention to the red flags and taken our trailer else where. Now we are lied to about parts, told things they think we want to hear to get us "off their back", customer service is rude to us or they just don't answer us at all! When we do get through to someone they blame everyone they can, insurance, parts suppliers, etc. PLEASE learn from our mistake, DO NOT take your trailer here for repairs!

My husband and I were thoroughly impressed right from opening the door to the sales floor. The sales team were very friendly and knowledgeable about the units. They were compliant to what our budget was and were not pushy. The service centre is top notch! Not only did they take care of our unit like it was their own, but were very helpful and caring when explaining all of the ins and outs of our unit. Wow not sure what McGoverns that first review is talking about but The one I know is 5 star!!! Most RV's are the same basic materials. Their service department was awesome. When we left our unit there to be winterized and stored, the guy who moved it noticed something off with the slide in. Thanks to his great eye, the problem was fixed (and not easily) and we were able to use our warrantly...We had no clue there was even an issue. He saved us some big $$$$$$ I love that they all seem to be like a Big Family!!!

We had just picked up our RV from dealer out of Calgary area. During the walk around all appliances functions were great. However we could not get the fridge to operate on propane on our 3 day trip around central Alberta. Brought the unit to several RV dealers here in GP with no success. The crew at McGovern’s service was OUTSTANDING!! Shop foreman took the time to troubleshoot and brought in 2 other techs. 45 mins later we were on our way!! GREATEST SERVICE TEAM EVER!! My Keystone Montana is 3 years old and had a couple things that went wrong of course it happens in the winter. Anytime I have called McGovern's they come out to my site and fix it there doesn't matter on the weather for them. The service department and the parts department are every friendly and call you by your name when you walk in and know there stuff on the trailers. I know for myself I would recommend McGovern's to anyone.

WOW, WOW, WOW...sooo impressed with this company!! PLEASE READ...We are traveling from Alabama to Alaska, just me (68 yr old female) and my daughter. I stopped in this dealership, just as I had a couple more surrounding it. HOWEVER, these people not only noticed us, they actually asked to help us and REALLY helped! One very nice man, whom I thought was a salesperson, was so helpful, he even noticed a vent open on the top of our camper and closed it for us. We purchased the parts we needed and left, but with some advise he had offered, we thought we should upgrade our propane tanks so we returned. They didn’t have the rod for the larger tanks so the nice man told us about a dealership down the road, which he said would be easier than maneuvering thru town. The other dealership had parts and AFTER LOOKING AT OUR CAMPER said it would “only cost $60” to install the tanks. They told me to go get the tanks and they would work it in. When I got back w the tanks, they told me $160 to minimum!! Really?? I just bought the parts and went out to my camper to leave. The man followed and started telling me it was going to cost more because they would have to change the tubing, gauges, etc. Did they not know that when they looked at my camper BEFORE I got the tanks? I felt my forehead to see if I had “Stupid” carved on it. I left with my parts, and went back to McGovern’s. If I was going to pay an outrageous price I would do it with the business that already had my confidence. At McGoverns they unscrewed the rod holding the tanks, screwed in the new rod and tightened the new tanks in place. They even put the new cover together... $40ish and done. If you are Happy to waste your money I suggest the other guys, otherwise McGovern’s gets my vote hands down. All of the employees were helpful, so nice and professional (no scammers here) probably because they were mimicking the nice man who sincerely cared about our welfare - who turned out to be Mr. McGovern. AWESOME! SUCH DECENT PEOPLE!

He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it and cleaned up the exhaust and we were on our way after looking at some beautiful new trailers with a very helpful sales man, Walter. We dropped off our trailer in April for a fridge replacement two weeks later the shop burned so we have them another 10 days to get sorted out. After repeated phone calls, we were told it was finally going in the new shop location. Service tech told us it was next in line. However driving by sales lot there is stood in the lot where it was during the fire. Stopped there to ask what was going on and argued with the sales guy about being able to look in our own trailer we discovered it did indeed have a new fridge installed. It was larger than the original so a front was being ordered. This was in June. We went back the follow day and hooked up to it without so much as a who are you. Honestly could’ve hooked up to any trailer. Didn’t hear anything from them until late August that the front panel was finally there. Brought the trailer back for installation in September as camping season was over. Picked it up only to discover it has a black front not a matching wood one as the previous fridge had. Poor service. No follow up. Do NOT recommend

Great overall experience. Drove 4 hrs just so I could purchase off McGovern's even though two other dealers were closer and also had the Toyhauler I wanted in stock. Not going to sugar coat it, yes there were deficiencies with our coach, as is with all RV's. The time and manner in which the issues were handled and repaired speaks volumes of management, sales, service and technicians. Would definitely purchase my next unit here when it's time to upgrade.

Sales staff, phenomenal! Service, terrible. We asked for a quote to get some work done (money in their pocket), the trailer sat there for weeks (granted they did loosen the handle on the door that I asked them to take a look at... which I then in turn had to fix myself) never got a quote, even after several phone calls and emails. It took a year for one piece of warranty tin to get straightened out, or at least I think it is, they called me to bring my trailer back a month and a half ago, I called 4 days ago to see what was up with it, they of course were "just about to call me" to let me know the decal came in and they just needed to get it put on.... pretty difficult decal I suppose as I still have not heard from them. The only thing I can think is because I didn't buy a $100 000+ trailer I'm not worthy of their time? *very disappointed.

Bought a brand new camper in late 2020, When we went to drain the black water The valve didn’t work. So all the liquid leaked out and left all paper stuff backed up. Now with major problems we find that the sticker that said black water was actually the grey water lever. McGovern’s fault!! But of course no warranty and no concern of there’s !!!!! I would never recommend McGovern’s very poor service! They don’t care after the unit leaves the lot

Thanks again ..... the McGovern difference is Awesome!!! After we purchased a used Class A motorhome it was brought into the shop and given a complete inspection ( the few deficiencies that came up were quickly fixed ) by a couple of RV technicians. Next we were instructed on how everything worked ( lots to remember ) and then McGovern's loaded us up with RV accessories that allowed us to make our first trips to Radium and then Banff a Huge Success. Thanks to the sales staff, part's people and finance team that made our dream purchase come true.

Service staff will not call you back, trailer has been in for 8 plus months for insurance repair and is still not complete. I have requested calls back for updates multiple times through the winter and they have only called me back maybe once. They seem to go through service advisors on a regular basis so maybe that is part of the problem. Very disappointed in the lack of communication with this company.

I would give 0 stars but that isn't possible. Beware of Cohen, he loves to make a sale but when you need to have warranty work done for things you have paid for, don't look at getting it covered. If you want someone to talk down and scream at you, then this is the place to buy an RV. In response to McGovern reply: There was no bullying on my part, I was trying to get my warranty figured out and was told before I purchased my RV that there was a place in High Prairie that was able to fix warranty work, which is now not the case! I was also told that I should be "appreciative", for what, I have no idea! Also Cohen first told me he was the person that sold me the RV, then his story changed yet again after my husband received a nasty email from him, stating that he was only the Finance person that dealt with us. Get your story straight Cohen, you're nothing but a typical salesman, that has nothing to offer customers once the deal has been signed!

We bought our trailer from McGovern's in 2015 and were very pleased with how we were treated by everyone. 6 weeks later, we started having issues with the floor in our kitchen and it finally got to the point where the entire sub-floor had to be replaced. The entire McGovern's team were awesome to deal with! They took excellent care of us and our coach. Even now, 3 years later and half a country away, I know I can pick up the phone and get the help I need for my home. One star for the parts and service department. Inadequate communication between staff and torklift dealer. I called Friday asking if McGovern's can order in some truck camper tiedowns, as it says they are a distributor. The young lady was helpful and informative and said I could come in and order the parts and would take up to 2 days. I tried to make it in as soon as possible. Finally making it down on Tuesday, I'm informed by who I assume is the head part guy, that they are not a distributor anymore and they could not help me. If you're not a distributor anymore ask the dealer to remove you and inform your staff.

Giving a star because sales was nice when I bought however they had a service guy go through trailer with me at delivery, and the experience lost all the luster it had during buying process. Bought the extended warranty, and it has been a painful experience to get in to get work done. After its there, you get 0 updates. You must call in to find out anything over a week of them having your trailer. Then good luck having anyone pick up phone, I have waited on hold over 15 minutes, because if you leave a message they will not call you back. We've always purchased our trailers from McGoverns because the deal isn't done after the sales transaction is completed, its kind of where it all starts! The sales team is always great to deal with but I find the big value for us is how the service department is forever stepping up to the plate looking after any maintenance issues we might have and usually in timely fashion. You guys Anna, Kevin, Jordan, Jeff and the many others that I've forgotten to name are outstanding in looking after us and our trailer. You guys always go above and beyond to make sure things are done properly! Can't say why I would ever need to go elsewhere. Great job team McGovern!

Although at first glance the RVs they sell appear to be nice, once you spend some time in it you will realize how poorly they are put together. If you ask them to take a look at some of the problems, they will do so and then tell you there is nothing wrong, when even an idiot can see that the problems are serious and will soon lead to major issues if not resolved. USE EXTREME CAUTION when purchasing an RV at this retailer and inspect it from top to bottom in extensive detail before signing anything.
