Told me that they are open everyday except Christmas and till 8pm well I've gone there before 6 on 4 different occasions and it wasn't Christmas either and they were closed I work everyday and I don't have much time and I've wasted so much of it just trying to get there when its not closed I give up! Advice to you cash Canada maybe your employees should be taught your hours I found out from the web not from a real person which is perplexing to say the least.

I feel really disrespected having been a loyal customer here for years. I asked what the best price you could do on a bike was that I was already offered 50% off on a different night and the best she could do was full price in December for a bike!!! I've purchased dozens of items from here and never had to pay full price on anything. If you feel like getting ripped off and desire to spend a dollar on every $0.10 worth of product well then you found the right place!!!

The staff have no idea that an Ontario Health Card is GOVERNMENT issued, you know, from the Ontario Government. I was trained how to serve alcohol and read these health cards for ID in Smart Serve training!! Pretty sure if the bank lets me in to my account, as a stranger to this province and branch, never before been to a branch in Alberta and I'm without my bank card.. omg this government issued photo health card is good enough ID for the bank should be freaking good enough to sell something at a Pawn shop. At least pick up the ID card and investigate it before writing it off next time eh? You'll see all the safety features like licenses have etc.. The staff here are all miserable, whether trying to sell or buy they have no idea what customer service entails. Worst service in GP yet, and there has been a lot of bad apples but I think this store takes the cake.

I've been a long time regular of Cash Canada, with only one real complaint against them, that said, it was a LARGE one....my engagement ring then I'd taken a loan out, had somehow gotten lost, but I only was told about it AFTER I paid to have it returned! Nothing was ever done about it. Today is strike 2 towards them. I went in to speak to them about a fan I had purchased there 2 days earlier, yet inconveniently it defected as I got it home. I was told in a round about way that I couldn't have a refund or even an exchange it because they cannot take damaged merchandise. But I guess it's okay to sell it??!!!?

They legally cannot pawn stolen items they have to scan every large item they buy with a background check if something has been reported missing and they scan it they know it has been stolen and have to report it. For people to accuse them of buying stolen items is purely biased and incorrect. Most honest pawn shop I am aware of.

As I entered into the building I was promptly greeted by Kristen: I wandered around the store and Kristen was quick to answer any questions that I had about the products available in an informed matter within the store. Furthermore, I stumbled upon a stereo receiver I was interested in purchasing. Kristen was patient as I researched the product and again was available to answer any questions about the product. Kristen offers both a kind and warming demeanor to her and I will certainly feel comfortable returning to Cash Canada again shortly to purchase more products. As soon as i posted the manager got back to me and fixed all issues.. they went above and beond for us.. just had to wait till they opened. Rediculus.... ive been going there since they opened and i have never been just straight up lied to there... untill today... was told 300 for a ps4 than i get there and they raised it to 350 within the 10 minutes it took to get there... i payed no problem... got a couple games aswell.. was assured no vr set was needed... when i got home i found that not only did the games need vr but the cords didnt work... alot of money to spend on garbage...

I think its an okay pawn shop. But I wouldn't say they have the best customer service there. I have been ignored and also discriminated when trying to shop or pawn. There is also a lot of sketchy people that go there and have made the experiences actually distasteful. Plus for pawns they are pretty hyped up when they deny a pawn and or have been picky over actually really valuable items I have brought in and in those cases I felt discrimination. Also employees ignoring me when I have asked questions for purchasing items instead of acknowledging me and saying they are busy or something that is customer service friendly. I personally won't pawn at this place but I still can't resit shopping there for a good deal.

Took an item in to sell to them. I’m not going to get into what it was, but because the item was in its original box they would not take it without an original purchase receipt. Seriously? So if I brought it in without the box you’d take it? “Yes” I was told. My selling history with your bussiness means nothing to you? “No, it doesn’t matter”. So I went down the road and sold it to their competitors. Won’t be going here again, certainly not with the items in their box. Treat your customers like they have a brain, don’t come up with halfass excuses that make no sense. I think the staff were just being lazy and I can’t think of any other reason for them to not want that item.

Talked to the manager "Kevin" and he solved this issue for us, thanks for reaching out and not just ignoring the issue! Original review... Obviously incompetent since they are giving wrong names to the police and when caught on it will admit they made a mistake but do nothing to correct it. Instead left it up to us to make several trips to the police station to fix their mistake and then when asked for the money we lost on selling the item (purchased from them and sold back at a lower price) the phrase "I'm not giving you free money" was repeated over and over again. It wasn't free money, since we purchased it at a greater price but seemed reasonable for the trouble caused by their mistake. Odd they can pass false information onto the police but can't refund the difference of a purchase from that mistake. Scared to buy or sell anything there in case they get something wrong again.

You know, in the big city you'll never run across a pawn shop like this one! Friendly, fair and compassionate. The manager dakota knows me by name, hell all the staff know me by name! Being on AISH things can get tight towards the end of the month or if an unexpected expense comes up. Last time that happened, Dakota lent me $400 on my stereo. She took a risk, knowing that she would maybe get 400 for it retail if I fell through, but I didnt and I made sure to pay the shop back before my due date! Dakota got me out of a huge bind that day, january 6th! I was able to pay my rent that month because of her's and the shops help. I've also bought and sold dozens of speakers and a few amps from them. They sell them to me at a good price, and give me a good price when it comes time for upgrading. I recommend cash canada for sure! Service, prices and selection, I love this store!

Terrible customer service! I've been a loyal customer for years utilizing their pawn loan plans and I've never had any problems with them until the last month when I got laid off and made a claim on the insurance to get my stuff back. The store employee (manager?) provided me with a 1 page document that, she told me, required only the top half to be filled out which I proceeded to do and returned to her promptly to double check before leaving. The next day I recieved a call from her telling me that I DO need to get the bottom half filled out by my employer who laid me off despite all the information it asked for being present on my ROE. I told her that would be a bit difficult due to my head office being far away in another city. Despite that she insisted it needed to be done so I asked her who needed to fill it out in which she replied my employer. I tried to clarify with her exactly whom would be acceptable as my employer since it was a large company. After she gave me the same answer a couple times and then started cutting me off when I was trying to clarify my question I started to get frustrated and raised my voice because she wasn't listening to me. She responded by hanging up on me. Called her back thinking we simply got disconnected where she told me that she hung up on purpose because i was "screaming" at her. So rephrased my question again where she finally gave me the answer I needed and then said I'd still need to get this taken care of. I proceeded to go back down there later in the day to get the paperwork so I could try and get it to someone within my old job who had the authority to complete the form. After getting there I learn that despite her insistence of needing it completed she decided that she should submit the incomplete form anyway before leaving for the day. Figuring that would cause undue delays and problems I got a different employee to get me the form copied so I could get it completed anyway. The form needed to be scanned and emailed and after i received it back completed i called them and spoke once again to the guy from the night before. I told him I had the form completed on a pdf file that i could either print or email it to him to pass on. He said email was fine so I emailed it to his business email. I now figured my part was done and proceeded to wait for everything to get processed. After a week I called back to see if it was approved but they hadn't heard back from the insurance company and that the company will probably email me personally but that they would call them the next day. So I waited couple more days and then proceeded to check in with them again and they tell me they can't get ahold of anybody at the insurance company but to be patient. So I callback cash Canada every 2 week-days for another 3 weeks inquiring about it just to keep being fed the same thing to be patient. Finally I took matters into my own hands and called the insurance company directly. After getting ahold of the agent handling my claim (on the first try) she kindly informed me that the cash Canada employees never even submitted the completed paperwork. So I emailed it to her directly which then resulted in my claim being processed and approved within 2 hours and received an official statement email stating as such. So 3 of Cash Canadas employees, including their manager, were too incompetent to do a small part of their job over 4 weeks while I did it in an afternoon. Despite that I was happy to be finally done with it and called cash Canada telling them that everything was approved and that I had documentation proving it. I asked if I could pick everything up the next day with just the email and they said yes. Went there the next day and was told that I couldn't pick it up until they recive the check from the insurance despite proof of payment coming and them previously telling me I could. So at best these employees are lazy and incompetent or at worst a bunch of liars who don't care about their long term customers.

Had my stuff stolen in Fort St John. Checked to see if i could leave info incase they showed up in GP. They told me I had to bring my police report in and refused to take my info. These guys make it easy for criminals to sell stolen goods and get away with it.
