Ive always had good experiences shopping at superstore but if you eat there be prepared to feel sick for the next two days. My partner and I usually eat before we shop and I had food poisoning twice and she always has food poisoning when she orders chicken tenders, almost can't make it to the bathroom diarrhea bad. I work with food on a daily basis and from experience I know that often other restaurants will cheat on meat quality forms. I can tell you from 5 years experience, judging by the colour of the meat even if it was brand new oil, the fried meat from superstore, is not cooked enough by NB standards, 180 degress in the center.

I consider myself a frugal shopper. Always hunting for deals, food I can eat today. And food I can eat tomorrow. The difficulty with this for me was always that I have a palette that craves new experiences. Fortunately, superstore has to this day not once disappointed me. Constantly offering new products, and being very responsible in terms of reducing food waste by selling food for a discounted price when it may not be picture perfect has always been a massive draw for me. This company has my respect and support on a deep level. Thank you for always keeping my soul and belly full, even on the days I can only spare a dollar.

The store Remains dirty amidst repeated promises to clean the areas of concern. This has been ongoing since at least last year. - Disgusting hand smudges along all the cooler doors. - Meat leaking with no clean up - Dairy products such as milk rotting and spillage insides coolers. - disgusting filth on shelving. This store is filthy and I presented Loblaws with a letter and photographs last year. The store promised to rectify the situation. I go weekly and the store has NOT cleaned up the mess. I again asked a manager to walk through the areas of concern with me in March 2018 and I was assured they would clean up. I was at the store again last night (now in May) and the same disgusting issues persist. I left messages with 5 members from corporate and hopefully someone takes these concerns seriously. It’s totally unacceptable. I will attach the photos if possible.

We have recently moved to the area and my wife usually did groceries at the big Superstore on Eisener Blvd in Dartmouth. Since this Superstore is in our neighborhood, we decided to give it a try. My wife was very pleased with the size and large selection of products. For an older Superstore, it is very well maintained and clean. Staff have been friendly and professional. Although we have a new Superstore within walking distance, we will be going to this one on Chain Lake Dr from now-on.

The produce is more selective but i have come home with many a rotten fruit at the bottom on a bulk fruit container. Cashiers are not helpful in any way if you bring your own bags and will pile all your food and may spoil your chips and bread items. This can be very anxiety inducing experience.

Unfortunately this grocery store has degraded since the time when it was clean, fresh, and new. Many areas of the store have not been maintained and I have advised LoBlaws of the deplorable conditions. Disgusting rotting eggs and milk for example. I went one two separate visits over a 1 month period and the messes remained. I took photographs which I may be able to post here or on my youtube channel which can be shared later. For now I am sending a typed letter to their head office. I have lived in Saint John for 17 years and have always held Superstore above other grocery chains, however, it is now only a last resort due to the unbelievable uncleanliness.

I liked their wine and beer collection. Even they have seperate butcher shop. Pizza section and frozen food section. Small kids cloth collection was adorable with cute clothes. They have sitting facility for guest with restaurant i think though I did not used it. I would definitely visit this store again if get chance.

I would rather go to Sobeys but this was more convinent. They have a great selection although I was not used to the layout so I did miss a few things on my list. What bothered me was the cashier working on cash #1 was not at his cash instead he was bagging someone else's groceries which is fine but then when someone came to his cash he continued to bag groceries for a different cash and made people wait which was rude. Also our cashier Cole was on a totally different planet constantly looking around not looking at us or talking to us.

Good pricing but not my favorite place to shop due lack of customer service. Ratings by departments: Excellent produce section with good staff. Excellent meals to go. Good seafood department. Deli section is under staffed and service is lacking. Bakery staff is good but I am disappointed that the store bread is never sliced and they expect you to use customer self serve bread cutting machine which does not do a good job; it's kind of a deal breaker for me I don't buy store bread anymore. Meat dept is always well stocked and well staffed best department in this store. Grocery isles are well stocked and priced, staff is good too. Front end is almost always lined up with only a few lanes open. Except weekends where they have all lanes open between until 5pm. But they physically removed four lanes from the store to honor this. Expect long wait times when you all you want to do is pay and leave. Other stores will often open more lanes and call on other cross-trained staff to assist. Other stores will even call for staff from other deptments to help pack groceries. Not this store. I travel further to other stores now instead of shopping here. Long wait times when I want to pay and go, lack of sliced bread, and the selling of nearly expired products are reasons why I choose to no longer shop here. Customer service, quality products, and customer satisfaction are most important to me; this is lacking here.
