Really cool, modern pet supply store with a few pets like Fish, a Chameleon, Hamsters, Guinea pigs and rats. The staff and especially Elise and friendly and informative. Elise is a foster for exotic pets and has a wide knowledge about them and other pets. If you're lucky, you will be able to meet one of her own that she brings to the store! A really important touch that most other pet stores don't have. I have 1 Rat ( now just over 1 year old) from Urbanimal and I feel comfortable and confident enough to say that I will be buying my next Rats at Urbanimal :)

Hands down my fave place for pet related goodies. They may not have the selection of a bigger box store, but the animals are well cared for and loved, and the staff is well educated!! I've never come in to find reptiles on the wrong substrate unlike other places thar constantly shove pets into the wrong habitats. This place is fantastic!!!

I remember when Urbanimal was located in Aylmer. When we noticed it had shut down we thought it was due to stupid covid. But we were pleasantly surprised and happy to discover that they had relocated to the apartment/condo complex Agora on Plateau which also has restaurants and shops. Nothing has changed really because they are the same store with friendly staff and lots of great useful products for your pets. I’m happy that they are thriving there! ????????

This is our go-to pet shop for all our animal needs. The staff are VERY knowledgeable about all kinds of pets. We've purchased a guinea pig here and we find what we need for our gecko as well. I really appreciate that they do not have dogs and cats for sale, further fuelling the puppy mill industry. Also, they have a loyalty system where they keep track of your purchases you get a free item after buying so many of that item.

Very nice and friendly staff. They sell a lot of dog food and cat food. Nowadays, they're more of a pet grocery store than a pet shop. I didnt see any puppies or kittens when I last went. However, they still have fishes and reptiles and little rodents. Maybe it's because of their limited space, but thats where my sister bought her dog before. I would rate that place maybe around 75%

A wonderful little pet store in the heart of Aylmer, with exceptionally helpful staff. It's a funny little thing but I feel like every time we show up at this store, it gets a little better. It's never because the previous visit was bad, because it absolutely wasn't, but it's almost as if they've improved a little from the last time we were there. It's odd but very neat. They have a great selection of fish supplies, the only place who does in Aylmer, and a solid reptile and rodent sections (I know they stock crickets for dragons and such, toys for rats and other rodents, cages, etc.). We buy dog food elsewhere (read as: picky, spoiled dogs) but they seem to have a good selection of dog and cat foods also. Logistically the location is pretty much perfect. Lots of parking, convenient working hours and easy in-and-out access. The store is very clean and well organized. Lastly, the key here, the staff are wonderful. Within a few seconds of being in the store you'll be asked if you need help. If you do you'll receive amazing help, if not they leave you alone to do your thing. If you're looking for advice, they've helped us come up with good solutions for our fish and rats and rabbits. Overall the expertise seems to be competent. I'm struggling to come up with any criticism here. Prices are slightly higher than Amazon, on average maybe around $1. Personally I like supporting local pet stores rather than using Prime for pet stuff but for some that may be a big deal. Honestly, check this place out. The Global is a great store close by also but Urbanimal is probably the best store in the area now.
