Great place with really good food for a buffet. Definitely a place for a nice party. The crowd is more middle aged with not many people in their 20s but you can still have a good time. The show is definitely burlesque (as explained on the website) so not for you if you are not interested in that. Just know what you are coming for. I was here for a birthday and I really had a great time.

I was visiting Ottawa and friends recommended this restaurant. It was absolutely great. The food was great and the live entertainment was absolutely fables.The entertainers have great talent and two of the singers have dynamite voices. If you ever are visiting Ottawa or the Gatineau region check this place out, you wont be disappointed.

Awful service.The waitress was very stubborn.Most of us ordered the New York steak but there wasn’t any so they brought us something else without asking if it was okay or informing us. We were 13 and the mixed up everyone’s order after start eating we had to switch plates. Really sad we were in the old restaurant and service was good then.The show would be good if only the dancers would face us both side of the restaurant equally.

Firstly I would say that the show was good, I appreciate the work of the performers. Where everything went south was at the sight of the so called 'buffet' which was pathetic to say the least, for the price quoted I have to say the expectation was much higher. Relatively speaking this was the worst buffet I've ate which was being advertized like it is the top of the line. There were other drawbacks such as ventilation in the room and extreme heat, neither was the service very responsive.

Staff was friendly. Can't comment on the show, because we ate before it started. The food took way to long to arrive, considering how quiet the restarting was when we arrived. The rolls were warm on the outside, but cold in the middle. I asked for my prime rib to be rare, and instead of giving me a centre cut, I got a well done end-cap that was medium-well. (A cruise around the buffet before we left revealed something akin to what you'd find at the Mandarin.)

Everything was ok until the end when we paid the bill and the waitress practically forced us to increase the tip from 10% to 15%. For 150$ dinner for 2 ...I thought 15$ was ok..she asked me if I did not like the service, made me feel bad and cheap in front of friends so I did not argue and increased the tip to 22$. Maybe they should charge a fee at the door for the show instead of putting their hands in your pocket at the end and creating an uncomfortable situation. I will not be back despite the excellent evening.

You aren't just paying for the buffet. $45 for all you can eat buffet, plus 3 hours of cabaret entertainment for night out, is pretty reasonable. The servers are also the entertainers. Serving us and changing costumes, dancing and singing. They don't stop from 6pm to 11pm. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. For amateur entertainment, they did a great job and had fabulously powerful voices. This isn't Las Vegas. It's Aylmer. And what a great Saturday gig for theses young entertainers.

Great night out! The all you can eat buffet was very good. You're paying for the food but also for the show. While you eat, the waiters sing and dance on stage. It's a blast that lasts all evening! Mediocre place.. They don't know the concept of reservations. Went for my son's birthday and specifically asked for a table near the stage. We walked out after they escorted us to a lonely table in the corner. The buffet was looking ordinary and ambience with floating ceiling and old carpets...yuk ! glad we left!

Their seafood buffet is way overpriced at $45.00 and so is the rest of their menu. As for the entertainment,the waiters are talented but the music is not so great. This guy sang 2 Elvis's songs that were the worse version I had ever heard. The melody wasn't even close to the songs and I had no idea what he was singing till someone in our group told me it was Elvis's songs. So disappointed. It's not the same as when they were in Masson-Angers.I will not be going again!!!!!!!

This is the second visit in the past year and both times have been totally disgusted with the food. I had the Back Ribs that were actually side ribs, the Baked potato was cold, the baked beans full of salt, paid $7.00 for a bowl of soup that came with not a cracker or roll. The show was super but would not go back to eat there. P.S. the buffet looked like it had been there for days????

Decent talent for the presenters. Service was slow and buffet VERY overpriced ($45) and food was dissipointing, frozen vegetables, meat server making unprofessional comments, not a lot of food selection, no dessert left over, waiting in line for well over 30 minutes to get to the buffet, no signage for what was at the buffet... Etc. Never wrote a review for a restaurant before, however I felt that people should know before they waste their money at this place.

Completely unimpressed. $45 buffet I expected better. If you don't eat seafood options are very limited. Beef stroganoff (extremely over cooked), meat balls (were good), beef or pork roast (almost to dry to chew), onion rings, fench fries and they have lettuce to make a salad but the dressing is so watered down it tastes more like water. Desert had an okay selection but not much of it was actually tasteful. The service from the servers were okay. Could have been better. I wouldn't call it friendly service was they weren't rude either. Certainly not a place I would come back too

I booked for 4 people 2 weeks before to make sure I had a good meal, I recalled a few days later to add 2 other people and the receptionist told me that my name was not on the reservation list and she would add me, to make sure I had a reservation, I recalled the morning of our evening ... I was confirmed that yes I was on the list. When we arrived the waitress took us to the back of the room in the back of a column, hard to see the show! A couple of our friends were already sitting at a table, the waitress would have told them that they had given our table to someone else. I asked to speak to the manager Michel ... he seemed overwhelmed, he did nothing .. the buffet at 45 dollars is not worth it, my friends took the salmon ... they liked, I took the filet mignon the chef cut it into a butterfly, burned, carbonnised, the server (very nice) to notice the state of my net and the chef prepared me another one to bring (not burned) but without flavor and butterfly (still very thin) When the time came to leave, the waiter told us that he had made a mistake on the bill and that we had to wait until the end of the show in order to leave because only the manager can rectify the bill and that he was on the stage (it is part of the show). We arrived at 19hrs and we were served by 21hrs .. the manager told me that if I had a complaint to formulate, to call the office, I asked him to whom I should address and he m replied that it was him. I made a complaint by email ... without answer. In summary: I am very disappointed with the management and food but on a positive note, the waiter Julian was very courteous and gave us a good service ... the show was very good The manager should manage and he should not be part of the show. J'ai demandé de parler au gérant Michel...il semblait débordé, il n'a rien fait.. le buffet à 45 dollars ne vaut pas la peine, mes amis ont pris le saumon...ils ont aimé, j'ai pris le filet mignon le chef l'a coupé en papillon , brûlé, carbonnisé, le serveur(très gentil) à remarqué l'état de mon filet et le chef m'en a préparé un autre pour apporter (pas brûlé) mais sans saveur et en papillon(encore très mince) Venu le temps de quitter, le serveur nous a dit qu'il avait fait une erreur sur la facture et que nous devions attendre la fin du spectacle afin de partir parce que seulement le gérant peut rectifier la facture et qu'il était sur l'estrade(il fait partie du spectacle). Nous sommes arrivés à 19hrs et on a été servis passer 21hrs.. le gérant m'a dit que si j'avais une plainte à formulé, d'appeller au bureau, je lui ai demandé à qui je devais m'adresser et il m'a répondu que c'était lui. J'ai fais une plainte par courriel...sans réponse. En résumé: je suis très désappointée de la gérance et de la bouffe mais sur un point positif, le serveur Julian était très courtois et nous a donné un bon service...le spectacle était très bon Le gérant devrait gérer et il ne devrait pas faire parti du spectacle. We stayed at the hotel and decided to try the restaurant. After being led to our seats for 20 minutes, no one came to took our orders. Not even drinks. The waitress pretended not to see us. It was a busy night for the restaurant as they are filming some kind of promotional video. Still, this is unacceptable service. We left and grabbed food at a nearby restaurant instead.

Easy to find with huge parking lot, I thought I will enjoy a nice night with my wife but it is boring for a couple and too loud. I believe it would be nice for a large group looking for some fun time, The open buffet was not very appealing and I will give the food in general 5/10, the staff was nice and welcoming but the show can be a lot better.I don’t think I will go there again.

Went for dinner here and the service was slow and inattentive. The food was expensive and plain. A pasta with pesto sauce and nothing else was $18, langoustines were small and over done and an additional $8. The white wine was supposed to be Kim Crawford sauvignon blanc, but definitely wasn't as I'm quite familiar with that wine and know what it tastes like. Finally my desert coffee had salt on the rim instead of sugar and when I informed the waiter about this he made it again and made an excuse about running out of stuff. The replacement drink was cold and had a very minimal amount of alcohol in it. All in all this was a very disappointing evening, and I'd recommend people stay away from this place. Your money is almost certainly better spent elsewhere.

Disappointing...I don’t eat seafood but i expected much better in the non-seafood section. Buffet is terrible. Noting is labelled so you don’t know what you’re eating. Choices are limited. The dishes did not look fresh or appetizing. Evething was cold and tasteless. The salad section was pitiful. My husband had the seafood and said it was just ok. The chowder was too salty. Thank goodness the service was excellent and our waitress attentive and helpful. The show was great though and only these 2 things made the money spent on a $50 per person buffet worth it!! Unfortunately if their chef and food does not improve i would not go back nor recommend it. Everyone at our table agreed. Not comparable to the old Ferme Rouge.

Steak was WAY overcooked and dry. Took 1.5 hours before I even got my appetizer. Very overpriced. Music is mediocre. Some people I was with just sent their food back and we left because it was so bad.

This restaurant does not come near to the quality service provide by the old Ferme Rouge. Service was terrible Steak was not properly cooked and argued with customer. Bread offered during ordering was not served and then 1 to one of 3 customers got bread. Imagine sea food Alfredo or steak with no bread Maybe better the night of show but certainly not during weekdays. ON SHARING MY EXPERIENCE WITH FRIENDS THEY CONFIRMED SAME POOR SERVICE. Menu is very slim with choices and not at all as advertised on web site. Would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone unless stuck at hotel with no transportation.

For a local act the talent is a welcome addition and provides an entertaining evening with friends and family. The buffet is standard, the staff are fabulous and the overall ambience is pleasant. I would go back and recommend this establishment.
