Diesel - Propane - Liquor... What else can you ask for. The fuel lines ups were much shorter here than most of the other Costco locations we have been to. Lots of parking, even for trucks pulling big trailers. We were in town for a week on our way home from Ontario to BC and came here three times in 7 days. If I lived closer, I would be here every week!

My favorite store in Grande Prairie. Great staffs and the store is usually clean. Lots of spaces to navigate the store. Fast people on the till. Weekends are very busy , i found the best time to go is around 10 to 11 am on weekdays and around closing time on weekends. They also offer tire services and has the cheapest gas in town. The membership fee makes it all worth it and also of you get the executive membership, you get an annual rebate!

I think that Costco is doing a lot to provide a safe and enjoyable experience during COVID19. However, the people are not as considerate and are not keeping distances or at least being a bit patient. I believe what could be done is restrict the number of patrons in the store.

For a family, grocery shopping here is excellent value. The one in Medicine Hat seems to be equivalent to the ones in larger centres. They also bring in seasonal items in a timely manner and have excellent options for birthdays and celebrations. The meat department seems quite clean and well maintained, with many options. The staff is almost invariably friendly, even when they're swamped. My only complaint is they are sometimes understaffed at the cashiers and at the cafeteria.

What can you say about this costco It's an excellent store ,very tidy and if you hit it at the right time, it's not to bad regarding line ups. but they are very quick at getting you through even if it is very busy , The addition of the self serve check outs is fantastic,and very glad they did it finally , it helps a huge amount of you in a hurry , Prices are up a little higher but it is all over ,they have the best meat dept out of big box stores in Medicine Hat for the most part and very good variety. I find the membership is worth it just for quick, inexpensive lunch dates from their concessions area. $10ish for two hot dogs, two drinks and a large yummy poutine to share is a decent treat that can be worked into a budget fairly well. The $3.15 just for the hot dogs and drinks is even easier to fit in. Don’t forget to ask for sauerkraut, onions or peppers for your hot dogs - I love their toppings choices :) So far, they have had the best purchase-able poutine I have tasted in Medicine Hat, too! The concessions area staff are always smiling and welcoming. Being able to research larger home purchases using their website has also been very helpful. We are looking forward to exploring some of the home services they offer, like internet, soon. Overall, shopping here can be pricey, but if you learn how to shop here for your family’s needs, it can be worth it.

Costco is a great place to get an assortment of goods, from cheap (but good quality) clothing, food, pre made lots of groceries, electronics, to much more, if you are feeding your family, and want to get bulk food at a good price, then this is the place you'll love. They also have a small kitchen that serves great food at a amazing price. You really can't go wrong shopping at costco. Plus gas is cheaper at their pumps, and with gas prices as high as they are now, your membership will quickly pay for itself.

Hi i had very bad experience on 26 dec 2020 in very sensitive pandemic days because of covid as usuall we went to buy something and me and my husband have a membership card because we dont need 2 cards, they did not let me in i have my 2little kids with me they made me to buy another membership card to get in that was very funny rule they told me the card is on my husband name he can go with kids but you can not go so i bought Inevitably another 60$ card for just let me go inside.the servic is terribble over there

Cons: There were various items on carts on discount that both inhibited flow making social distancing in those areas nearly impossible. Also the signs for the discounts were hastily scribbled, noone took the time to print them out or even take the time to write neatly. Half the sample stalls didn't actually provide samples, there were just employees standing there by packaged product. 5/5 for the employees effort trying to promote the products, but I felt bad for them standing there being glorified sign posts. Batteries, specifically AA cells were in different locations. Duracell AA cells were at the front of the store while all the other sizes and brands were on the isle, making it impossible to price compare. Finally, the checkout area only had enough room for 2 carts in line and one at the register, making the line near the exit isle stretch halfway down the store while all the other lines were nearly empty. Pros: Very good selection for such a small store Staff were trying their hardest and were very friendly All products flowed in a logical manner, with the only exception being the previously mentioned discount items and batteries, at least as far as i noticed. Ample parking Tire center efficient and exactly on schedule.

I am absolutely disgusted with Costco's refill ink cartridges. I had them refilled few months ago and I was unable to use my printer because I didn't have the gray cartridge and it wouldn't print without it so there were a few things that did print but very very little. I got the gray cartridge yesterday put it in and the rest of the cartridges that i had gotten re filled are all empty. I'm so fed up... I have done everything I know to do to get it to print but nothing comes out

Due to the new program in place; you can’t enter Costco with out your membership card. Even if all you want to do is feed your screaming toddlers in the back seat with a fast hotdog or poutine. Also, once you get past the employee only doing his job, you should know the once “cash only” kiosk no longer accepts the queens money as now they are “debit only.” If you’re like me and said well hey I’ll just go to customer service and buy a gift card... remember the smallest gift card they sell is $50.00 If you are also like me; you’re wondering what the advantage is for paying for an executive membership? I’m still trying to figure that out. I rated these guys 5 stars before as in the past they have been amazing. They need to review their practices and I need to change my membership. There are plenty of places easier to eat at than all the hoops Costco makes their members jump through.

Heard amazing things about the turkey sandwiches too Some things are seasonal, in early spring you get potted plants and fruit trees, in fall you can pick up some fall bulbs. There’s a book section too, if you’re patient enough the cookbook or novel you’re waiting to read will go for 40% off.

Efficiency is inexistant. There are no reasons why it should take you more time to checkout than the shopping itself. They still have old cashier technologies where you have to touch and weigh everything. Just get your people at the door some scanners to spot check what people bought.

The best place around Ottawa to buy common beer! (e.g. 24 of Heineken works out to be around $33 vs. $48 at the Beer Store). Usually carries the top 10 domestic/premium/imported beers with rotating stock of other brands. Can get some good Quebec beers too. Only downside is that I wish they had a bigger selection.

I'm not sure if this was an unusual situation at this location. I don't typically visit this Costco. The second I walked through the door I stopped my cart for literally five seconds and a lady bit my head off telling that I'm at Costco and this is where I will get rammed. I laughed it off but it seemed to be the vine the entire trip. Apparently you're not allowed to stop to grab something off of the shelf without the eyes of fifteen different people rolling and the feeling that you're going to get a cart to the shin. Everyone was miserable and by the time I left my face was frowning too. Staff were nice but the shoppers definitely made it a unique, alcohol at 12pm experience.

When I come back to my "home town" to visit family, I always drop by here -- usually to get gasoline (a good excuse) and then check the samples. There are few Costco warehouses this quiet (probably not a good thing from a corporate perspective) and this one is a joy to shop in. Parking is easy, checkout is fast and returns go quickly. And back to the samples -- in my Calgary Costco I avoid the sample tables but here there is so little competition the staff offer them to you!

Although the quantity of items is large, I find it easy to portion and wrap them at home. Costco has a more limited selection than a major chain but the value stands in the forefront. I will only buy meat from Costco because the hygiene standards are far and above Alberta Health Act. They also sell so much meat, nothing lingers on the shelves for long. The store is tidy. The staff are helpful and friendly. I easily save more money than I pay for a membership.

the place is huge and with plenty of selection. found what i wanted and got out fairly quickly.. the only issue i have with the experience is, people as customers dont follow social distancing. it seems that most everyone that goes there, think that they are immune to the effects of the pandemic. i will say though this has not much to do with the staff. management should play a more active role in making sure that everyone is reminded about social distancing and keep playing an active role in enforcing what they should be doing. its not entirely costco's fault. customers should be doing their own part as well. i have to say, its not all customers. they also have shielding everywhere and keep things at the tills organized and safe..

The employees here have lately been giving me more and more issues due to being unable to block my breathing holes due to medical issues. Last time I was there, they caused a lot of grief. I used to love this venue & visit them regularly, but lately I've been going less & less due to friendliness having gone significantly down (even when wearing their sneeze-guard which has its major issues as well). I understand it is corporate policy to embarass the people in the store, and I will be cancelling my membership once my cash-back cheque from my Costco credit card gets cashed, as the experience I've had at Costco keeps degrading more & more lately, and most of the staff does not seem to be doing anything about it (there are a few staff that continue to be very kind, but most have been giving me a lot of grief, at least one of whom was directly encouraging me to cancel my membership).

I purchased a membership and decided to do some shopping the next day as the store was incredibly busy. Not alot of social distancing going on I may add. There was a large line up to get in first thing in the morning but it moved quickly. I couldn't believe the amount of people who were not following distance rules. Always a great one-stop bulk grocery shopping experience. I can't come out of here after planning to do a simple milk and bread run without something like a cast-iron pan set and a new set of wipers for my car, so that's an issue for my wallet. They've got almost everything under the sun, with large quantities and good prices to boot. However, as bad as it may be for finances, a trip is never complete without a basket of poutine which for some reason might be the best poutine in western Canada. Tends to be hit-or-miss, depending on the heat of the gravy being adequate to slightly melt the curds. That aside, it's still a great stop for a quick bite after groceries.

I go with a friend in a wheelchair. They are very accomodating. I accidentally left a purchased item and when I went back, the manager who came to address my issue was very helpful and understanding. She was the one who actually found the item laying on a vacant check-out counter thinking a customer had left it there choosing not to buy it. She walked to the exit door with me and cleared me through the door attendant. Wwwwhewwww!

0/5. Always get attitude at the tills, a costco worker can never be found for assistance when needed. Deli workers can be found putting together meals with no gloves on and managers are very condescending if you must speak to them. During my 5 year span of working with PWD (the people who put out food samples) i have seen very unhygenic handling of produce including one time when a bird was in the store for over a month. (it's gotta eat and go to the bathroom sometime) good place to get crap service, crap quality goods and Hep A!

One of the better Costcos I've ever been to. Well signed, always friendly workers who are happy to help, excellent customer service overall. It isn't easy to find workers on the sales floor but when you do, they are helpful. Food in the food court is good. Propane refills are fairly quick & again good customer service. Not usually a very packed location so you aren't feeling trapped by too many bodies around like the Barrie location.
