Excellent and friendly staff until you want to return a fish tank that you absolutely hate! I bought the tank December 21st and got it home and added half a tank of water to it but I absolutely hate the tank and wanted to return it the next day (less than 24 hours after purchase) but was refused due to a bit of water being in it and they cannot re-sell (which they can at a discount price because water will have to go back in for the next fish) they offered me in store credit and to help me find a new tank but I am not interested as my other tank had broken and they were living in a bucket most ended up dying from being to cold (therefore in store credit would be useless) so I decided I was just going to return the tank and give the 2 living fish to a friend but the owner has denied my return. Therefore I am out $149.95+tax. Thanks F&A

Nothing worse than going into a place to spend your money and the staff act like you’ve interrupted them while they are trying to sit on their cell phones and talk about what they did over the weekend. This store is a breath of fresh air. You can tell the staff actually want to help their customers and enjoy their jobs. I wish more places hired people like this, made shopping for my daughters first little aquarium very pleasurable . The tanks were spotless as well so I’m pretty sure the fish get treated just as good as the customers. I’ll definately recommend F and A Aquariums to anyone needing all things fish related, just as I was told to go there by my friend who appreciates great service and prices .

This store is such a wonderful place to shop .. whether you are an experienced Fish enthusiast or more like me- I love having an aquarium but not fond of cleaning it! Brandon stopped by today and cleaned it out. He remained professional and courteous as he carefully removed each item, cleaned it off, sucked out gunk from the bottom and the masterfully replaced it all. So happy to support this local business who treats me like a valuable customer each and every time I stop in. Thanks Micheal and gang!

I highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for any information about aquariums, plants, fish, food, supplements, etc... They won't talk down to you, they don't push products, they aren't trying to sell you stuff you don't need. They are just there to help you will anything tank related and get you going on the right path. If you need your water tested and don't have your own kit, bring them a water sample and they will do it for free! Very knowledgeable and won't give you any nonsense or lies. If they are unsure, they will help you find the correct or best answer. They are always really friendly and won't ignore you while you're in the store. Plus they are really fast to answer any questions on Facebook if you don't have time to go down to visit. Thank you all for your help over the last few days with properly setting up my new tank!

If you have any aquarium or reptile needs, this is THE place to go. I bought a baby corn snake from them several months ago. It was my first reptile so I admit I was a bit naive, but upon bringing it home it would not feed no matter what I tried, I followed all instructions and parameters. As a last resort I went back and talked to them about it and to my surprise the staff member volunteered without question to take the snake back, free of charge for rehabilitation as well as teach me how to properly assist fed it and care for it. (Even he admitted that he had no idea why it wasn't eating on its own) After just over a month (with training and multiple visits) I brought the snake home and he has been doing better than ever. Needless to say this staff member saved the young snakes life, without a doubt. I have several fish aquariums as well and frequent this establishment fairly often. Their staff members are amazing, but if you have any questions or true problems relating to fish or reptiles, ask for Brandon. No matter what question or problem I threw at him, be it aquatic or reptile, he had the perfect answer and solution, and was able to teach me with patience and clarity in a way that a novice such as myself could understand. Because of Brandon and the dedication provided at FA aquarium I will be a lifetime customer.

This place is amazing! Everyone is so nice and knowledgeable. This is my go to place for all my pet supplies to take care of my two Guinea pigs and hamster :) My favourite staff member is a younger girl that works there with black hair and bangs. Im not sure what her name is but she is a very friendly, approachable, and helpful person. She is also easy to talk to and fun to talk to as well! My only dislike about the store is that it’s a bit pricey, especially with their recent price raise on their items. I would still 100% rather go there than pet value.

Just went in to get pet items and saw the terrible condition of some of their cages animals. A little rabbit didn't have any water or hay, which is a basic food requirement. The cage was tiny for his size, which you would think a store dealing with animals would know. Why do pet stores sell pets if they cant take care of them in store? I wish I could support local, but if local is this neglectful I would rather go to pet valu.
