In all of Marché de l'Ouest, their menu is the only one to accommodate those with gluten and dairy allergies. I'm not exaggerating- I was desperately looking for food for a good half hour and told by other places that they had nothing for me, before I noticed this seafood store had an entire dedicated restaurant side! Thank you for a delicious meal, Marché Pêche Pêche!

Was here at lunch for grilled fish, the grilled sole fillet and oysters (as a prelude) were delicious! I closed my eyes and could envision the blue mediterranean sea, sound of seagulls and swears of fishermen at the bustling docks. That's how fresh it all tasted. Great tasting fish at a decent portion size and good prices make it a safe bet at lunchtime when in somewhat of a hurry (although the grilling can take up to 10-15 minutes).

Got the fish and chips, the fish was not made fresh, the battered fish was removed from the fridge by the attendant already precooked and just tossed in the fryer. It showed in the flavour and texture, it tasted stale and not very fresh. On top of that, at one point i saw an employee sneeze/cough in his hands and proceed to immediately handle food without having washed his hands.

Two things you will for sure find in this place. A big smile in the owner's face serving you and a smile in your face after you eat. The grilled fish are fresh and so well spiced. Don't underestimate the rice, most of the fish are served with a sauce that matches perfectly with it. Prices are very fair for the quality you get.

Tried their fish n chip today with my and wife I was quite disappointed. There's another fish market on Sources I was going to but was closed today. Figured I'd try the one in Marcher de l'Ouest. Instead of being white and flaky the inside was grey and more resembled mashed potatoes than a fish filet. The breading was so hard and thick it made it very difficult to use a plastic fork & knife. I was suprised at how large the fish was but it still didn't help my disappointment.

There are very few places in Montreal to get turkey fresh fish. We eat fish at least 2 times a month. This is the only place in the West Island I would go to. And you can always go and advance order anything, we order the big grouper when we have big family gatherings .

WARNING changed price of fish from $30 to $67 at the cash, without me noticing, I complained, they changed to $44 !!!!!.... I called later they said balance was right. $8.99 per pound, I bought 3.5 pounds do your math it's $31.50....!!!...

Went there today( Good Friday) signs says closes at 4PM. I totally respect these hours given the circumstances. I arrived at 3PM happy to order seafood for tonights supper. Lady in front of me just finished getting served. I walk up , sorry sir kitchen is closed !! I thought he was joking so i asked him "are you joking ? " he said no. Only 2 guys and they were very busy he answers me. I have a certain understanding wuth the situation we are in at tye moment but if you say 4PM i expect you will close at 4PM !!! Not 3PM...anyways not happy at all...

Very nice staff. I've been purchasing salmon for tartar and lobster, very fresh and good quality. I also recently tried their fried snapper, just delicious! Definitely recommend this place!
