Staff is very nice (young). Was very surprised that half literally every second person was not wearing a mask since it is mandated by gov't. Didn't make things better that one unmasked gentlemen was coughing and hacking in the aisles and made hardly any effort to cover his mouth. Guess Covid is no concern in Digby Sobeys. Short visit.

Small outlet.Often I can't find my grocerys,because items were in short supply. Stuff friendly but . not well informed about the products which are up for sale. Prices are mostly satisfieing.l personal like to shop there. They should offer quality meat= products fresh and for aceptable prices.

Had no trouble finding what we needed for our Christmas party but was shocked at the prices. For example, cases of soft drinks, normally 2 for around $10, were 6.95 each. Christmas gouging?

Sobeys should invest in more restrooms and two water fountains for the public to use. I go to Hannaford's in Maine when I'm down that way. There is a clean, 4-stall ladies room, handicapped accessible. Ditto for a men's room. There are two water fountains, one at a lower level than the other. It makes shopping so much more enjoyable to know there is a public washroom available AT ALL TIMES and a source of good drinking water. At the Digby store, and others, there is ONE toilet to serve Sobeys and the adjoining liquor store. Last Saturday, there was a line-up of four people, with their legs crossed, waiting to get into the ONE bathroom. Why are you so stingy with your restrooms? Come on, Sobeys, spend a little bit of your profits and provide the basic amenities for your shoppers. It really means a lot to any age shopper to know these public facilities are available. It shows you care.

I am not a big fan of Sobey's I find they're overpriced compared to there competitors. Their sales from what I can see are marked up. I do like there garden stuff and flowers.

I use the Digby Sobeys Pharmacy for all my family prescriptions and the staff there are always so friendly and professional. I have even called them on occasion and asked for advice and they are always glad to help... Plus there is air miles!

Well stocked and maintained store. One particular cashier named Haylee is a delight. Always so friendly and helpful that my wife and I will wait in a longer line just to deal with her. Plenty of selection, and open later than Superstore, at least at the moment.

Great besides the fact that most deli items are way too expensive. I know for a fact that the "Brand" Company is in Ontario and sells same products here in east coast as well on west coast and on east coast is a big price upgrade compared to west coast. Not fair compared to even if one looks at the wages.

The staff at this store are phenomenal. I always receive the best service here. But what I have found about Sobeys in general is that it seems they markup the prices before a "sale". So while it may seem like you are getting a good deal when you buy one get one free, it isn't any cheaper than buying it elsewhere.

They don't sell items no longer ,which I al ways got over the counter ,when I dropped in for shopping.Some smaller retailers are often more flexible. They gave me better deals.l'm missing more and more imported grocerys from Europe. The Quality is much better, and the prices are not higher.That is what we figured out many times.I always buy Quality and Quantity. Because of this sometimes frustrating Experiences we do shopping much more online.( this ls my personal opinion. )
