I came here with several friends. We ordered 2 platters (a sampler - lamb, chicken, rice, etc.) - very delicious. The service was excellent - although we arrived at closing they opened the kitchen for us (we had just arrived from a 5 hour drive from Whitehorse. If you're travels take you to Dawson City you must visit this restaurant.

Came here 20 years ago. My girl and I had just got married and had about 15$ beteeen us. When the staff heard this, we were told, to keep our money and order any meal we wanted as it would be on the house as a wedding gift. INCREDIBLE!

We go to the Drunken Goat at least once every time we visit Dawson. Last night, we once again had the amazing Poikilia, which is a meal for 4 that includes lamb chops, Greek style ribs, chicken breast, garides, spanakopita, tiropita, pita bread with a feisty feta dip, and a Greek salad. Each and every item was exceptional. It seems pricey at $77.95 but it's a huge amount of great food. Great service, and the recently-added deck out back was perfect on a hot evening.

6 of us ordered 2 large pizzas red wine and cocktails. Pizza was fine but it took a long time even though there were only 5 others at 8pm. Like all other places in Dawson, you pay 2x what you pay in average city in the US. If you want to cut costs get a room with microwave and refrigerator and go to the general store which is the biggest grocery in Dawson. There is just one liquor store here which closed early on Wed we arrived and closed due to a holiday. We came here by train from Skagway and bus from Whitehorse. We could have brought some supplies like wine, nuts, bear and mosquito spray there.

The restaurant wasn't open but the tavern was open in back with social distancing being respected with tables spaced appropriately and hand sanitizer offered upon entry. Also the tavern is outdoors with a a shaded seating area. Service was good and the music was 80's themed and varied. Would definitely go back again! I ordered a caesar salad with chicken breast and it was so delicious! The chicken was perfectly seasoned and very moist and tasty. The salad had great dressing coverage, with fresh grated parmesan cheese and crunchy croutons.

Food was good, but overpriced.The service was terrible as the waiter seemed more intent on chatting with the ladies than serving his customers. The music was okay, but the mike was turned up way to loud, causing distortion. We were seated on the deck near the back; and smokers, although technically outside the restaurant, stood right next to us while smoking, significantly diminishing our enjoyment of the meal.

With high prices I expect high quality food. The ribs were OK, but the chicken breast was not real chicken breast ... it was the blended chicken meat you would find in a bulk purchase. My wife got food poisoning there. Don't eat here.

It was a very nice place to visit and. Unfortunately we didn't eat there because there wasn't a gluten free option for my wife. Just to be safe we went somewhere else. I could tell by looking around that the service was good and the patrons were happy with their orders. The waitress apologized before we left but we were okay none the less. Thankyou.
