Worst customer service I have ever experienced! The manager continually made excuse after excuse regarding why my experience was so poor. The employees aren't trained properly to handle customer complaints or do curb side pick up during the pandemic we are currently experiencing. If I could give this store 0 stars I would. This is a great pet food store. The inventory is clean and fresh. They have a generous loyalty program for the dog food I buy. The variety of toys and treats is excellent. And their hours are quite long, so if you discover after dinner that you don't have any dog food for the morning, you can run down to Pet Valu for more.

To anyone going here bring your pets inside. They are super pet friendly and they can give better advice when the pet is there. Speaking about there advice, they are very informative and each person working there is a pet owner. Their selection costs a little more than places like supermarkets but there food is a lot healthier for your pets. I recomend this place to all the pet owners I know since it was recommended to me.

Really sad that I write this but this is now a second time I feel disappointed by this location. First, it was a points based system on a GO food and each employee had different approach (never did thye called back to clarify, but I did call them. Still no clarification). Now the wash station. Due to the covid I called to confirm if its still- call us that you are coming type of thing. Confirmed it was, before lunch time... great you would say! Well, called after lunch to ask if they have availability in an hour... to find out that actually in that 3h they have decided to change the policy, no phonecall necessary! Really?! When I wanted to come 3h ago I was denied! Not ok, definitely!

While the store is nice and kept clean the "new" dog washes are terrible. The shampoos were insanely watered down to the point of one of them being just water. Both of the baths must use the same water source since when you run both, water pressure drops dramatically and the hot water goes ice cold. The blow dryers use cold air which does not dry them properly and both of them are broken. The one has a part broken off which makes it eject from the wall and the other the nozzle is not attached properly and has copper wire that scratches you when you try to use it. It is a nice service to have but I recommend going to a different pet valu to do your dog washing.

I made an order online for curbside pick up for and aquarium vacuum earlier this week. There was only one on their website so I just ordered it because I wanted to support local business. A few days later I received an email saying, "It's been discontinued. Sorry for the inconvenience." No alternatives, no suggestions. There wasn't even a signature or sign off on the email. If its discontinued, why is it on the website? And again, it was the only option they "had". I've been ordering online and curbside with businesses in Lindsay for a year and a bit now and this was the worse experience of any business I've dealt with. It was curt, unprofessional, and shows me they dont need my business or support. I'll be telling anyone I know that Pet Valu in Lindsay doesn't need their business either.

When you buy cat food and the sales sticker said $45.99 and when they ran it up it came to over $60. I told the clerk about the sale sticker, her & my bf went to look. They wouldnt honor the sale price then decided to explain that there is taxes. Will never shop there????

Came here at 9:05am and shop was still closed. I waited almost 10 minutes and tried again i saw a lady sitting at the counter doing work but the door was still locked. It was thursday the sign said 9am. She was so preoccupied didnt even notice me, i tapped the window but nothinf seriously frusterated me. Ended up driving to petsmart to get what i needed. Really inconvenient to not be open on said hours :/

Sold us a damaged product, a pet food bag that had been broken and re-taped together with the food inside mostly crushed. Staff member was rude and accusatory about it. We had no receipt so we didn't expect to be able to return it, but she implied we were running some sort of scam by asking. There's a reason their prices are so low.

The store was very organized, and there were lots of items and selections in all aisles. Products seemed to be a good quality, and staff were friendly. I was blown away when I walked into this store, doesn't look like much from the outside but man is it neat and clean on the inside. Im so accustomed to pet stores looking and smelling trashy that this one caught me off guard. I took my dogs to get washed and the self wash cost $10 + tax which included a treat and shampoo. They provided you with towels and their washing station came with a hug tub and a blower. Highly recommend!!!
