I had no problems with A&W, but the last time I went it was different. They messed up the order by putting onion rings instead of fries, even tho on the receipt it clearly stated "fries" and we said we want fries 3 times. They also added some unusual spices to food (which I personally do not like at all). The spices were the major issue for me. It's a fast food industry and it doesn't state anywhere that they're using those spices. So it's really sad A&W becoming worse in Swan River.

Mozza burgers are by far my fave. Each town we go to for work or leasure that is always my go to. Sadly this Mozza was an embarresment to A&W. It was cold....dry...and HALF a slice of bacon was broken into 2 pieces...and was definitly far from freshly made....Was Quarter of what a mozza bacon should normally be. And the Rootbear was warm The Big Juicy Mozza was such a disapointment from this location as it was so not that! In Swan River MB I DO not recomend If i could post a minus i so would.

Had to leave a review before evening taking a bite. Asked for keptchup and they didn't provide, asked for pickles and I had to ask twice. Order Spicey chicken burger and got literally a tomato a piece of lettuce and chicken with what I can only call a smurf sized dash of mayo. So disappointed to open this at home especially for the near $30 I spent. Check your food thoroughly if you MUST go here.

Good: Fast, fair price, clean store. Bad: Storefront not available to customers at all (other restaurants have had seating for a while already, this just shows a lack of looking forward), food was adequate, but not the A+W quality I expect (way way wayyy too much seasoning salt, bun was dry (I'm assuming a quick half toast to reheat), and I had to ask for accompaniments by "interrupting" the employee. I may give them another go in the future, but it's definitely not on my to do list.

Paid $1.89 for gravy and got 1 cm of gravy in the bottom of the dish. If I hadn't felt so completely ripped off it would have been laughable. If you're just looking for a quick Buddy Burger, they're fine. Don't bother buying sides, though - if it's a meal you're looking for, pay a couple of dollars more and go to one of the many fine restaurants. No decent meal to be had here.

This Hinton A&W location is one of the best I've been to in western Canada. The place is clean and fast. The food was fresh and well prepared. Good friendly service and clean outdoor tables. Great spot to stop on the way to or from Jasper. Next to a gas station and easy access to highway.

Stopped here before hitting the road to drive back to the states. It opens at 6:30am which is great if you want a quick to go breakfast early before hitting the road. We got the bacon and egger special for Friday which saved a good amount of money and substituted the coffee for orange juice as we are not coffee drinker. Food was good and hit the spot. There are also other daily deals which are worth checking out. We had no problems with our order or ordering. *sidenote* There was a guy before us that tried 6 different cards and none worked, and decided to say “well I guess I’ll go somewhere else” Okay, bye then! As a fellow person who has worked the food industry and retail.. threats get you nowhere. If none of your cards work, it’s most likely you, not the establishment.

A&W aka "The Dub". Well, I actually just visited the local one this morning, and to be honest, as always, it really brightened my day. And no, not cause of the necessary Sunday morning coffee or the well portioned, decently priced, classic breakfast they offer. More so, due to the experience of the retro interior design but also seeing and hearing the "flock" of regular coffee goers, visiting and laughing amongst one another simply enjoying the moment. Last but definitely not least, the well mannered, strong and just overall happy team of employees. All in all, I recommend "treating yourself" to some A&W to fulfill any fast food desires, just make sure to skip the drive thru and not only get a different experience but a ice cold mug full of the best root beer. I myself, am a regular consumer of A&W and specifically such location. I feel its a refreshingly positive and well run while consistent fast-food establishment found on Main St and MacDonald St in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Right beside the McDonald's.

No longer fast food. Unfortunately this restaurant has gone quite downhill since new ownership/management in 2021. I've had several bad experiences, but today was bad enough for me to come write this review. I was 2nd car in drive thru, only other vehicle was already at pick-up window. My order was two burger combos, and I had a coupon, so I hit redeem on my phone while making my order. I sat in the drive-thru for just over 15 minutes waiting for my order... I know because I screenshot my coupon which had only 5 mins left (from 20) before expiring! This is at 6pm in evening, when maximum staff should be on to provide prompt service! It's really too bad, as the previous management and staff provided such great service. Sorry, best to avoid.

Unfortunately, this A&W has a few staff members that are utterly rude, time and time again, so you know it’s not just a bad day. The food is often not fresh, and don’t even bother asking for a Beyond burger, the “10 minute wait” is more like 17. (I timed it.) At that point, it’s the only time you receive a fresh burger, but the fries will certainly be soggy. Just comparing to all the A&W restaurants I visit, this lacks any qualities to rave about, other than it’s among the only spots in town. Honestly, just friendly staff would make it better. It’s all just adds to a 1 star. Shame.

The restaurant overall is pretty good, nice beyond meat burgers with great taste and not too much char, sweet potato fries and my favorite side but not much variety for sides. The speed of service is pretty slow but I don’t mind waiting for the food. Overall the food and service is good!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They repeatedly gave me the wrong order and became annoyed with me when I asked for the right one, and when I had finally received the correct order my food was ice cold from sitting for so long. Food was mediocre, server had a hard time understanding us(learn the language of the country you're employed in)Not one person in the kitchen was wearing hair nets or gloves. Ketchup dispenser was empty, as well as the napkin dispenser! Floor was filthy and the tables looked like they hadn't been cleaned in days! Surprised we didn't get food poisoning!
