Small grocery store with a good selection of items. They have a nice floral selection, fresh produce, small bakery with a good selection of fresh bread and buns. They also have a lovely cheese selection, deli and always have line-ups at the end of the day for their take out food especially the hot Chinese food and sushi. They have a restaurant area that is popular for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Upstairs they have nicely decorated small shop for kitchen and decor items. Parking is free with accessible parking and entrance. This is an enjoyable grocery store to explore because they often have items not found at the other Comox Valley grocery stores however because of their small footprint they don't have the selection of the others. Every day they have "appy hour" take out specials.

First time being in this store. While the store it’s well put together, prices are a little on the high end, but the reason why I am giving a one star is because of the cashier I had to encounter. Tonight around 8:15 or so I went through a older woman’s till and she was the most unpleasant woman. I honestly am left feeling like I should turn around and return everything that I have purchased tonight. Will not be shopping here again. Hopefully management will see this and they will retrain their staff on what customer service would be. Leave your awful attitude at home!

I went to check out line that was empty to find 3 tellers complaining about their jobs. When I asked one of them to ring me through, the lady spazzed at me for interrupting her conversation about not getting a lunch the day before. Now ... I agree that she should have gotten a lunch but I don't think that customers should have to hear about about it, they sould take it up privately with their boss if they are upset. It was not my fault. Sorry ... won't go back.

Umm, this location, in Comox, on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada is ideally located in an affluent neighbourhood. The prices of the food reflect that. $30 bucks CDN for six items. My word. Also back home I am a batchelor, so I pay attention to the ready-heated take-away meals. The stuff Country Grocer had in its take-away section was pathetic. Every pre-packed "fresh meal" contained over-cooked, dry and limp ingedients. To this store's credit, these meals consisted of meat and two vegetables. All over-cooked. This shop had the nerve to price this stuff at $10 bucks for a stale meal for two. Maybe, though, my opinion is cheap. Certainly, this store provides many price-indexed grocery options. Everything was just way more expensive and lower in quality than what I am used to in Victoria, BC, the big city.????

The store offers fresh fruits and vegetables. The Chinese food counter is always busy. Chinese food is tasty and plentiful. The sushi bar is also excellent. The coffee shop on the second floor offer a quiet place to read books or to meet friends.

Although the store is clean, bright and well stocked, the level of customer service is completely unacceptable. I made the head office aware via email of the rude and condescending behaviour of the staff at Comox and wasn't even afforded the courtesy of a response. Perhaps the attitude at the customer interface is a reflection of rot that goes all the way to the top. Hopefully competition in the grocery retail marketplace will pressure them into striving for "Quality" service in the future. Until then I would recommend you shop somewhere where you will be treated as a customer instead of a nuisance!

We observed the Chinese food cooking and preparation were horrifying. One guy cutting up raw chicken, then without washing his hands and not changing his gloves, actually wiped his gloved hands on a plastic bag, then proceeded to cook some food. Very scary practices. Will never order from this location. It was appalling. No cleanliness what so ever, no food safe handling of foods. Cross contamination all over the place. Very disappointed.

They have an awesome inexpensive breakfast in there deli section . I wish they offered a reasonable hot lunch and dinner menu for a reasonable price too. Great employees why to high of prices . They do put out a flyer and I believe its for $1.49 days on selected items I believe the first Tuesday of the month. That being said you need to be there when they open as everything on sale goes very fast. Quality Foods in Comox has an automated ultra ray light cart cleaner that I had never seen anything like it before and wow what a great idea. We need this machine at every store that has carts even once Covid- 19 has pasted.

Good grocery store in a nice area of town. Parking lot isn't that big but the few times I have gone I haven't had issues finding a spot. When you walk in first thing you notice is how clean and nice the store looks. The produce section looks so much better in terms of colour and health than superstore. Layout of the store is good and prices are reasonable. They even have a hot food section where you can get sandwiches and Chinese food (which is pretty decent).

This is a pretty good grocery store, fairly pricey but it has some good specials. It's well arranged and has a really good assortment of Chinese food and other take home Ready-to-Eat eat hot meals. It also has some flowers and a small cookware store with higher-end cookware and specialty items up above on the second floor. It has a Bakery, and Deli, and has things like specialty cheeses and bulk olives.
