Amazing “mom & pop” type place in the NDG neighbourhood. I randomly called on Jan. 2 and asked for a vegetarian platter of around 30-40 pieces, which was delivered to me within 1/1.5h. Shortly after paying, I got a call back from the restaurant saying they miscalculated something. The owner came back to bring me extra food! Authentic as hell! Great service, good prices & deliciously fresh sushis! Will order again FOR SURE. I wish they had IG or Facebook for me to spread the word, they deserve it!

Probably better if it hadn't sat while i waited to get food for my wife elsewhere... It warrants a revisit to eat in, when there isn't a kid with sniffles in there. It was certainly less expensive than the average place. Delivery guy was unavailable, so I had to walk there.

Arguably the best sushi in the city. Family run. Most of their business is takeaway, but we tend to eat there. I love that it's family owned, and you can buy little comics that were written and drawn by a little boy. The sushi is so good. My kids will devour plates of rolls, so I always order tons. Prices are reasonable. If you're looking for chic atmosphere, this is definitely not the place for you. But if you're looking for seriously good sushi, friendly, modest service, and maybe a (pretty clever) original comic or two, this is your spot.

Even the rice is somehow tasty, not to dry, and not too much of it (places like Kanda's put way too much rice). Really wonderful family owned business. Great sushi and maki, made fresh to order. The lunch combos are great, good food and small price. I saw some negative reviews on Google where people complained about the waiting time, but we were served fast and it seems normal to wait a little when all the food is made fresh for each order, what most sushi places don't do. Also some people commented on the fact that they had trouble to be understood in English. We chatted with the charming lady of the restaurant both in French and in English and am at loss to explain the nasty comment this cool "mom and pop" sushi places has received in the past.

Very good sushi. Always fresh. Ordering over the phone can be challenging at times so go in person if you can. Definitely a great option for sushi in the NDG area while supporting a small family run business.

Pros: the ratio of rice to filling is surprisingly fair--as in, instead of getting a roll filled with rice and one tiiiny piece of fish, you get a generous piece of fish and whatever other ingredients and not too much rice. This is a very rare thing and is much appreciated. Cons: The fish is clearly low quality... it had a very fishy aftertaste--never a good sign... I couldn't take it. Don't think I'd want to eat there again for that reason alone.

We order delivery from this place every 2-3 weeks, and our bellies rejoice every single time. The sushi is very fresh, tasty and is remarkably better than some of the overpriced sushi restaurants we have tried in Montreal. We also have a soft spot for small, family-run establishments. Pros: Delicious and fresh sushi. Very reasonable prices for sushi. Very friendly staff. Cons: Slow service - We always have to order well in advance. Delivery is slow - We stopped ordering delivery, we always go pick up the food. One of my favorite sushi places in Montreal. We've been ordering here for 2 years and we'll keep ordering for a long time. The only bad thing that I could say is that the service is slow, which is understandable because it is a small mom and pop restaurant with only the owners making the sushi.

Small family owned place. The food was delicious and quite filling. Keep in mind however that it is a pay per piece kind of place. Even as such the price still came out to the same as if you were at an all you can eat sushi place. However I think they are better suited for delivery and take out as the wait time is quite long (understandably since they are only two).
