Very nice place to have fish, staff are very kind. Prices are not cheap but not expensive. The only reason I gave 4 starts because my last time the fish tasted little strange but not bad. Note: I requested the fish to be well well well done as I always do, so don't judge the fish photo.

It is clear there is an issue with the management at this location. The owner of the Rayan franchise should consider retraining all staff including the manager at this location. They lack basic customer service skills. You don't feel welcome when you dine here. The food is actually good but the dine-in experience was so bad that I'd rather settle for the fish burger from the McDonald's across the street.

Oh my goodness, really good seafood. You order at the counter and let them know how much lbs you want of each item, octopus, calamari, shrimp, etc. They'll grab your order and you take a number to your seat The food then arrives quickly and you dig in. I found the concept of ordering by lbs interesting but so worth it. With 5 people we order about 120$ worth of food and it was about 25$/person. Would so recommend going there with a group of people or a date if your appetite is large. Washrooms are tiny though 5/5

Food was excellent. But a table of 6 were walking around the restaurant without masks. One waiter had his mask under his chin the whole time. Very disappointing. Will not go there anymore unfortunately.

Overall a 4-star experience. Would definitely recommend. Pros: -Healthy, frozen fresh food -You pick your own food in their fish market -Service is good -Staffs are nice -Food taste fresh and great -They serve lime for every plate! (which is very great!!) -Free Wi-Fi (but it was broken when we went) -The place is very cozy and welcoming -Medeteranian feeling -The place looks clean and the kitchen has an open space concept -Cashier doesn't force you to pay tip Cons: -I find it a bit pricey per serving but it always goes into "what you pay is what you get" Recommendation(s): -Would be perfect if someone would greet and guide you when you arrive even in evening hours. Not sure if they have during morning hours

I've been to this location many times, both take out and dine in. We have one I'm Ottawa so it's nice to have different locations in Montreal to choose from. Service was very prompt and the food was amazing, as always. The food was on our table within 10 minutes of order which is great because we were super hungry. Shrimp was perfect, calamari was crisp on the outside super soft inside. The salmon was one of the best I've had in a while.

Food was great. Their fries are to die for... fish was really good and fresh ... The shrimp was also phenomenal ... salad was surprisingly good, and the rice was also impressively flavored. Two stars were deducted for the service, and for not accepting any credit (It's 2017, who still doesn't take credit in Canada) The servers at the line where you order food were rude and lazy.

Dirty- dirty_dirty. Staff rude no welcoming service. Washrooms not clean at all. Anybody can cook a fish and it will be nice. Waste of money and time and they r going to give u attitude. Not following any hygiene manners,and the guy smoking many times and he gave us our plate without even washing he’s hands.

Very fair pricing but be aware that your bill will be heft since seafood is rather expensive. That said, amazing calamari and grilled octopus… to die for. Just thinking about it makes me salivate! Buy it by the pound, cooked and ready. Perfect for just eating like that or as a complement to a supper or to bring to a party! Taste is amazing and fresh! Though I’ve only had their calamari and octopus i dont doubt their other items on the menu are as amazing. Definitely recommended if you feeling fishy ????

Your visit begin by picking your fish and sea food to the counter. And they bring it as soon as every plate is ready to your table. Salad and fried potatoes are good; we try macrel, sqid, cod and shrimps.

We ordered the calamari that's supposed to be fresh but I don't think it was because there were no tentacles which tell s me that they were frozen. The tentacles are the best part in my opinion. They were also rubbery. The French fries weren't bad however,the cost 6.99 for a fairly small plate. I wasn't impressed and have had much better calamari which is one of my favorite dishes.

Nice experience but it was crowded! The service was good, quick despite the number of people. You choose what you want to eat and the quantity and they cook it for you. I liked our meal, it tasted fresh. We picked calamari, shrimps and mussels… Very good!

Good food is not everything. The food here is good, but I was astonished by their staff! This was on March 24 between 8 and 10 PM. They openly act like they don't have any time for you. You don't even know how much your order is going to cost ???? I think some restaurants, because of their popularity, think good service is not necessary anymore. No matter how good your food is (food here is good not great IMO) always make sure your service is at least acceptable. Some people value that more.

Nice food. Clean tables. The main issue here the big mess washroom. Washroom is not clean, no soap no dryers, water leak on floor. Also, the space is small in dining area and no respect of social distance. People who serve you are very nice; but, the cashier girl is bad has no respect or polite to costumer. I hope management replace her. This review based on dinner visit October 10, 2021 @ 7:00-8:00pm.

Fresh and tasty seafood. Service is adequate. Covid safety measures unfortunately are not respected here. Nobody checked our vaccine passports, place was full to capacity, and worst of all, most of the employees were wearing their masks on their chins. In fact, the two fishmongers, one of whom is either the actual owner or manager, were entirely maskless.
