I love coming here to buy fish but today I went and they sold me rotten fish heads that were on sale for a good price. I'm sure they knew it was spoiled and still sold it to me... I called and they told me that I can bring it back and get my $$. This review would have been 5 stars.

The worst market in CDN, a stinking place, I went to buy chicken and fish, when I get home I realized that they were rotten, had a nasty smell, return to that place to make a claim and the owner assaulted me and did not want to return my money , I don't know how the government can allow these people to continue selling rotten food...

Marsha Kim Poo is a great place and a chop meat at the butcher fresh and they're full of fish as well fish on Ice. Also they have Frozen Seafood. They have all sorts of other Asian the lights and I regularly get my red hot sauce and my hoist in from these nice folks was being there forever. The whole staff is nice and it's in a great location for lots of other things as well. I have a special bag of candy I get there but I'm not going to tell you what it is as I don't want my supplies to keep running out. I already told too many people LOL their prices are slightly better than another huge Asian grocery store I go to elsewhere. And they're right near Indian grocery store that has its own different selection of items and a couple of restaurants including a very good Vietnamese restaurant and the Indian restaurant attach to the grocery store both are very good and both are authentic. And Marche Kim PO is so easy to get to either a metro stop from Cote Saint Catherine or coming along quotes and Catherine Road by car or bus or coming up or down Victoria Avenue. The people running it are truly lovely people and it's easy to find stuff and they've helped me the number of times. I enjoy their smaller bok choy as well and their celery seems to be fresh or at least better than the rather big chains that I've shopped at. It's a great area in that one block and it's really busy. I think it's actually two blocks of dizziness. And they are right in the heart of it all. You could be standard Montreal Coke Asian English or French or whatever other flavor you are you could be Filipino you could be Vietnamese you could be West Indian and you will definitely shop at this grocery store. I like the folks I like the store I like the variable supplies and they like the choices and I like the prices. So what's not to like!? Dropping and grab a couple of things and you'll go back again and again just for a couple more things. I've been going here for years. And when I wasn't around for a couple of years the woman at the cash said to me, hi where have you been I haven't seen you in quite some time. She may not always look up cuz she's busy at the cash but she knows you're there and she welcomes you and chances are she'll say hello when you're at the cash. People smile when she does cuz it feels like belonging. But quiet Style :-) the only complaint I've ever heard this from a friend that doesn't like fish or most food and she says, smells kind of fishy applied, that's probably because of all that! :-) LOL

Check your receipt carefully. I purchased 6 items and was charged for 10 items! It was corrected after I pointed the mistake out. I wish they would wash the food baskets, they're filthy.

Very convenient spot offering a variety of Mexican, Indian, and Asian products. However, it has a VERY small interior. Social distancing is next to impossible. Be warned. Equally, as in any small depanneur, you might want to double check the expiration dates of products.

3 stars cause decent selection. The strong smell of fish when you enter the place is off-putting. It indicates either food gone bad and/or really poor air circulation. If they could find a solution, this place would be much more successful. I've avoided it as much as possible due to that reason alone. Also they have 10$ minimums for debit/credit...

I've always been happy picking up a few things from this place. From time to time you can catch a great deal on some pork bones for making soup. Their fresh fish selection is really good. Produce is not the freshest but you can find a lot of variety and at a great price. They also carry all the staples of Indian and South East Asian cuisine. Checkout the freezer case in the back, you can find a huge variety of hard to find frozen greens.

I like this placeperiod compared to a giant sized Asian grocery store, they don't have nearly as much but they're decent sized they serve the communities that are Indian and Coke Asian and Jamaican and West Indian and Vietnamese and a whole lot more and they have a lot of things that people want. I give it a 4.25 simply because a friend of mine finds his stinky because they have lots of fish including on ice and I think since they have so much, chances are it'll have a bit of a fish smell don't you think. That being said they have an excellent Butcher on sites that will cut up your meat any which way you like they have a grocery store stocked with all the Asian Delights and I get my hoisin sauce there and my spicy red shiroko sauce that everybody sells and their prices are good! The huge Asian grocery store actually has slightly higher prices. I also get a favorite type of candy that they make sure to order and I don't want to tell anybody else hear about it because I don't want it to go out of stock LOL but they have a good choice also Frozen choices. shrimp lobster crab all Frozen and handy. Then they have the usual stuff plus they have tons of different types of drinks in the freezer section and some other basic stuff and there are non-stop on going concern and they been in business and at this location for quite some time. I think they're rice Steamers back on the shelf close to the ceiling behind the cash are way overpriced however their way close to the ceiling behind the cash and way up high clearly they don't expect to be selling them.. but they are solid and they're always there they're open 7 days a week and they're consistent and they're celery and cucumbers and bok choy and all sorts of vegetables are all looking good and fresh and they don't have to hose them down to pretend that they're keeping them fresh like some grocery stores seems to do. They're nice people and they're very helpful and I trust them to buy many things there. And they always make sure to say hello. it's a great neighborhood with 4 blocks worth of sores maybe 3 a couple of restaurants another couple of groceries 7 days a week always have clients and always have stock and are always willing to talk to you and say hi and ask if you want something else. I've been going there for so long that once when I had being there for 3 years, the woman that the cash her and the guy are very nice she asked me actually, where have you been haven't seen you in a while. That was so nice. Wouldn't it be nice if every store we shopped in said hello and said they missed us? It's a very nice store. Well worth dropping into this grocery store except for the fishy smell I highly recommend it so one offer fishy smell otherwise I would give him a five on five for service price quality attentiveness they are great! and they are consistent and honorable and they are open 7 days a week. You couldn't ask for any more than this how could you?:-) and it's clean here as well.

I really like this grocery store. The best part is the fish market. They have really fresh and cheap fish that they clean for you. Fish mongers can be a little bit aggressive but all fish mongers o know can be like that! They also have great prices on meat as well. Obviously, it's up to you to make sure that the fish you're buying is fresh! Makee you check their specials posted outside. They price pretty well on their nice selection of vegetables and dry goods as well.
