(Translated) Vladimir is the best. Finally, it's nice to go to this store. Thanks to him! (Original)
Love coming here to get a few items that remind me of home. Good prices and great variety of items from cheese products to meat products, some great Russian salads and other food items that bring you back to the motherland. Always a pleasure to come and get a few items to remember Grandma's amazing dishes.
(Translated) Superb variety of products! Quality cakes, cheeses, cold meats, Russian sweets, teas of all kinds, kvass, marinades and appetizers in abundance! There is no shortage of choice. A trip that is really worth it for a little bonus of happiness in his week!
Employee's attitude is how bad stereotypes start. Two times I shopped at this place and twice they over-charged me. The cashier argued with me over a few pennies! Unbelievable. Disgusting. Shameless.
Decided to try Russian food after knowing the Russian idol Lelush, so I went to this place. It’s a very neat place with tons of food and chocolates. Fair price and the chocolate pies I picked are very good. Read some comments regarding the service, cmon it’s just a grocery store, since we don’t tip them so why having such high expectations on the service and see it like a 5 start hotel. As long as they don’t mess up your change, it’s all good to me. And to my surprise they seem friendly to me, def better than some other grocery store cashiers who love giving you their side eyes. I would like to come again to try more stuffs.
(Translated) Very nice team, lots of Russian health products like grilled buckwheat or cottage cheeses, the black bread is impeccable (I always take Orlovsky).
Excellent

(Translated) People! You will buy marshmallows or marshmallows from them, ALWAYS check the expiration date !!! Now he has opened a pack of pastila - it is like a stone. And the expiration date (ended more than a year ago) is prudently stuck with a label with the text in English.
The staff could be more attentive and friendly
This is a great Russian grocery store, with items also from Poland, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, etc. They have a large selection of imported and locally made items (sausages, meat, fish, pelmeni's, canned vegetables, mineral water, cakes, candies, zefir, salmon roe, bread, cheese bars, salads, soups, herbal teas, blini,...)
Nice Eastern European food store, with a concentration on Russian goodies. Go here if you want to have all the Russian honey cake your heart desires.
Great russian grocery store with amazing food cooked on location
Wide choice of European products , great service , and even better prices. Very good place to try new foods from Europe.
They have delicious desserts, cheese and cold cuts!
It's like stepping onto the set of the Nutcracker ballet: candy, bliniki, cakes, sour cream, smoked fish, delicious teas, dumplings of all kinds, soaps and creams and chocolate... All things Russian in one delightful store. The radio is even set on a Russian station.
(Translated) There is a large selection despite the small size of the shop. There is absolutely everything to make Russian recipes. There are also some Russian cosmetics that cannot be found elsewhere.
Best russian store in town 100%
(Translated) The friendly team, the choice of delicatessen is incredible (Original) L'équipe sympatique, le choix d'épicerie fine est incroyable
(Translated) Small Russian store with a fairly varied choice. I recommend it. And I love their Pirojki!
(Translated) Detailed Russian comment is below A lot of products are expired and even have fungus, they don't want to refund them The first time I bought stone marshmallows, I didn’t say anything (they had been lying on the shelves for a long time, even tired of having fun, each time checking to see if he was still there :)). On August 22, I bought "Derevnysky" bread from them for 5.49 and, upon arrival home, I put it in the refrigerator, as always. Shelf life - until August 23. The next day, August 23, I take out bread from the refrigerator - and it is all moldy. Those. On the 22nd, he was definitely with mold - we just didn’t open it, we didn’t peer through the packaging. Unfortunately, I rarely go there, but it was the only Russian store in which I purchased, i.e. every 1.5-2 months I left $ 50-60 there. Especially for this I didn’t go (the same time + gas will go to the price of bread), thinking that when I will be there next time, then I’ll talk to them. It so happened that only today I was there and told the leader the story of the bread, showing photos. He only answered that I had to come right away - then we would change that they take bread in Epicure, and they have nothing to do with it. In general, everything from the series "I will hide my hut." Ok, I had to come right away, to some extent I'm not right. But I do not agree with the position of the store manager, who 1) Sells a. past due and b. spoiled goods 2) At the same time, she does not want to meet the client for the sake of some $ 5.49, which would be easily blocked by a couple of my purchases. Bottom line: they lost a client, and the more I went there without a foot. Plus, if they still have some kind of reputation, then they once again ruined it (Original) Detailed Russian comment is below A lot of products are expired and even have fungus, they don't want to refund them
Amazing Russian grocery store right off of Queen Mary near Snowdon metro. There is such a wide variety of delicious products, particularly regarding deli meats, smoked fish, and even caviar. In the back, there is a small case with various delicious savory Eastern European pastries - perfectly fried or baked bread with fillings including beef, potato, spinach, mushroom, and cheese. If your looking to shop for some delicious and hard to find items, or want to eat something quick and comforting, this is a great place to go.
Great store for russian & eastern european stuff. Amazing variety of teas.
(Translated) Many Slavic delicacies will be offered and the choice is worth the candle. The well-stocked aisles offer condiments, breads, sweets that are found nowhere else in Montreal. The butcher's counter features a selection of kielbasa, tvorog, ponchkies and more. If you are lucky, you may be served in Russian.
Destination for the Eastern European delis, homemade cakes.
It’s a real shame the staff is so uninviting and rude, as they do have a nice store.
It's my favourite Russian store. The staff is very friendly and helpful.Volodya, thanks for helping me.
Very good selection of Russian food.
(Translated) Rotten mini cheesecakes. Cold meats, caviar - not too clean counters. I stopped shopping at this store.
Been going there reluctantly on a rare occasion to pick up a couple of items not found elsewhere. I would like to go more often but unless you are Russian speaking , you are viewed with suspicion by unfriendly staff , I am guessing the old Soviet way of suspicion is still around for some. NEVER a thank you after you pay . I have never bothered writing a review due to rarely going there. Today however amongst other items I bought a small chunk of Russian sunflower halva that is cut up and wrapped in the store. Once home I unwrapped the cellophane only to find a long single hair strand that an employee "lost" that ended up in there. I chucked it out as going back to exchange it would have meant an argument and for 3.00 I can't be bothered. I am guessing hair nets have not made it yet to this Soviet era style store. I can put up with unfriendly store staff on occasion but no one should put up with a store not practicing the minimum food safety measures . Stores are legally obliged to have staff wear hair nets.
Great little Russian grocery store, with surprisingly good selection given the size. Be sure to check the expiry date on things such as prepackaged meat and fish - but that applies anywhere
You can find all kinds daily products from European food manufacturers at this store.
(Translated) I do not know. (Original) Je ne sais pas.
I have been in here twice in the past couple of months. Whilst there is a decent selection of Russian and eastern European goods, I must comment that the indifferent attitude of the staff is quite off-putting. I have never seen a more stone-faced and surly bunch of people. When I paid for my purchases, there were no cordial greetings or even a mumbled thank you. The cashier acted as if he was doing me a favour. Let me do you a favour and never come back.
