Very expensive for pasta.small portions. Specials are misleading. Get you there for $12.50 and many things do not apply to this special. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and of course the meatballs were not included in the $12.50 price. Salad included was good what desert was a joke as if it was a 2 spoonful dessert. My wife's dish was $18.95 which we thought included shrimp but later found it did not. It would have been additional for the shrimp $4.50. Too expensive and I will not visit again unless I would get maybe a pizza. Of course I can get a good pizza I quite a few places in Cornwall which would probably be a lot cheaper than here. The service however was very polite and fast.

I really liked my experience there ! The food was amazing. I had double bacon Carbonara with a peach sangria. It was really good and the garlic bread and Caesar salad that you could have as many refills as you wanted is also really great ! Our server was very kind to us. I'm looking forward to go there again !

I love East Side Mario's. I had never been to this location before, but I stopped in with my parents after a shopping trip across the border. This location made one of the best Ceasar Salad's I have had at East Side Marios. I often find them rather bland and lacking in dressing. Not the case here! Creamy and flavorful!

I can understand if a restaurant is busy and overwhelmed with people. Here I am dying of thirst and for relief of hot pepper I just ate , and some Manager behind the bar doing inventory told me “oh I’ll tell your server to ring it in when she shows up” when I asked for a pelligrino water . Server hasn’t checked up on me once since I got my food , I’m the only customer in the restaurant at 8:40 and I just want my bill so I can leave . God forbid they look after a customer , the look she gave me when I asked her for a water (how dare I ask her while she does inventory)

Have eaten here frequently and would normally rate better and because of this I didn't rate 1*. Haven't been in awhile so decided to revisit. Had the New Yorkah pizza. Very tasty but next morning awoke with food poisoning that evolved into a fever later in the day. Hadn't eaten anything since breakfast so no confusion as to the cause. For $16 for a personal pizza the least I hope for is fresh ingredients. Might be awhile before we return.

Very saddened by the experience my family and I recieved on September 5th. After driving for hours we chose a place to eat that we would normally enjoy my husband and I both had big Chick parm his was regular mine was made with all Alfredo sauce due to a tomato allergy. Our daughter had spaghetti with meatballs. When the food arrived i tried a few bites my chicken was overcooked, dark and dry. And when I flipped the chicken over to see if the other side was as dark I was blown away as there was tomato sauce on the plate under the chicken and soaked into the chicken breading. When we got the attention of a staff member to make them aware they took the food and said more would be brought back right away sadly by the time I received my food my family was done. Definitely not how I wanted our family dinner to turn out. And then to top it off not even a discount $92.00 for a family dinner and I got to eat alone.

East Side is a great place i missed being in Quebec. Great food and drinks for a sit down. I ordered a custom 2 topping pizza and my partner had the Fetuchinne alferdo with chicken and roasted garlic. Both meals were flavorful and exactly what we ordered. Recommened for all! Note: all pasta, main entrees and the custom two-topping Pizza all come with an unlimited salad/soup deal. Forever's if you wanted to have that deal for another meal you'll have a surcharge of $5.50 in advance.

We had a great 7 th aniversary lunch and wen we got there was all you can eat oasta and salade. My man just cam back from blood work and tests. So was really nice to see him eat like that. We had geat service Renee and Lisa wer the best meal was exellent. And being from valleyfeild we brought back lunch for our teenager boys and we took the familly special pick up after doing our shopping. The boys loved it and me to not making lunch. Tried it again tonight... Not any better. Sick and tired of that restaurant. I got charged for extra sauce on a wrap (which came in a container on the side instead of the wrap) i didnt even eat because it was way too garlicky. Waitress never told be it was going to be extra to add a bit of sauce on the wrap... Its gonna be a while before i go back.

I used to eat at this location a lot when I was younger. I haven't been in a couple of years and for my first time back since, I wasn't too impressed to say the least. I felt like I had to chase after the waitress for everything. My wife and I ordered an appetizer and it was brought out with our meal. The appetizer was good and tasty but the chicken parmesan I got, which is one of their popular dishes, was nothing to write home about. I probably wouldn't choose this place as my first dining option.

Went there for my daughters 10th birthday and my husband literally didnt get his food! When he notified the manager and waitress their excuse was there was a party of 25 they were trying to serve and that they wouldnt charge him his meal. Service was okay, food was mediocre. Definitely not worth $40 for two plates of undercooked pasta. The only enjoyable part of the meal was the soup and salads. But the staff were super friendly and fast with what they were working with. Overall, don't think I will be going back any time soon seeing as I can make spaghetti and meatballs at home for $10.

Always good food but giving five stars for the female manager and our server last night (July 16). My boyfriend and I sat in a booth on the bar side and it seemed busy enough for a Monday. I kept seeing the manager go to tables and take drink orders and clear plates and deliver food/drinks. I was impressed with how helpful she was as a leader. They’ve really let themselves go. I don’t usually write bad reviews of restaurants—I like think I’m ‘easy’—Plus, years back I actually quite liked this particular restaurant. But I’m moved to put pen to paper…err…fingers to keyboard by my breathtakingly underwhelming experience at Eastsides. The worst food that I can remember having (In Canada, anyways). Here’s how it went down. I showed up about 8pm, The seating and first drink order were really slow. Probably at least 15 min. which is an eternity in restaurant time. It wouldn’t get much better. The bread = cold. The margarine = oily+ slightly off. It made me a bit nauseous, which is really saying something, as I have a famously cast-iron stomach. The Caesar salad was stale and obviously not fresh. The main course (Spicy Chicken) was…. ok, I guess. It wasn’t that great. I’ve had TV diners that have been better. Plus, the Sangria I ordered was rather lackluster. So to sum it all up. Service= initially slow (in fairness, it was ok, starting after the arrival of my drink), salad= bad, bread= bad, Entree= lame, Drink= lame. Boooo Eastsides.

Great service, very friendly. The waitress was well-informed about food needs and made several great suggestions for us to choose for our celiac family members. They had no business cooking shrimp that well. Everything was really delicious. Also, it's really nice to have a server ignore you BECAUSE they are invested in making the experience great for your child too. We got to eat in peace, and our child had more than enough attention to occupy him. We had no expectations for her during lunch rush, but she was incredibly attentive to our family (and each other table she served). We will definitely eat here again.

After years of eating at East Side Mario's , I was very disappointed with the food. Coming in from Toronto we stopped at East Side in Cornwall and I ordered my favourite meal. Hell chicken kitchen. The price was not worth what I got , 2 very small chicken breast over cooked, 6 to 7 over cooked potato pieces, 3 very small mushrooms and very cold vegetables. If they kept this I will forfeit going to East Side Mario's.

The food was so good! Hot and fresh! The service was very attentive and friendly. It was a busy night/time when we went (right around 6/6:30 pm), so food coming from the kitchen was a bit slower than we would've like. However, they were great with the unlimited bread and salad/soup! Was dead right around 7/7:30, so I'd suggest going around that time if you don't like it busy and don't mind waiting. I had the Jumbo Shrimp Pasta and it was SO good! I don't normally finish my whole meal, but I just couldn't stop eating it! Yum! Note: this location doesn't take Amex or Scene cards. Wasn't a big deal for us though.

Disappointing experience with take-out order. The ultimate Canadian pizza was under cooked, and mostly sauce, very little toppings, and mushrooms were only thin slices or pieces and not button mushrooms. Rest of the order was OK, but not as good as dine in at other locations. Pictures show what you actually get compared to what is promised on the website.

I brought my 2 daughters 6 and 3 out for dinner. Food was nothing to great. The penne noodles had a weird taste like you could taste metal or the pan it was cooked in. I ordered several meals to go. Spending a good 140$ on food. As we were leaving my daughter was sitting by the front entrance to the restaurant talking in a robot voice. Walking through the door waiting for her i turned around looking into the restaurant where I see a worker later confirmed by herself she was the manager looking at my 6 year old very loud and rudely shhhing her in front of other patrons. Yes kids are loud but you couldn’t have addressed her in a manner with respect and to top it off you stare her down with dirty looks!!!! Getting home I call the restaurant and ask are you kid friendly? A family restaurant? They replied oh yes!! As I asked who the lady in red shirt and black sweater was that shhhed my daughter giving her dirty looks she said oh ya well that was me I’m the manager!!! As I continued to asked how she thought that was professional or appropriate she contained to cut me off and try and speak over me countless times and than hangs up!!!! Wow last time we will be visiting there!! Should of taken my 140$ else where for better food and service!!

Some of the most terrible food we've eaten. Kids pasta, so bland and sauce was definitely not fresh and such a small small serving size. Kids chicken fingers $ fries, also bland and barley any chicken. It was so heavily coated with batter and maybe 10 fries???. I had salad. Meh, pretty boring. And what's with the drink menu???? No micro brewery beers on tap????? And you have one in your town??? Umm, why??Mill Street organic was listed on your menu but when I asked for it I was told your location doesn't carry it?? Why is it on your menu?? The waitress was great and also not sure why you didn't have your local brewery on tap. Overall, for 65$ it was a horrible meal and I had to drink a Canadian!! Bleh!

Wait staff has an attitude problem. Stopped there around 5pm. They seated 8 of us at two tables that in most restaurants are meant for two people each. We were elbowing eachother and we are not big people. Waitress gave us attitude when we asked to move. There was maybe 3 families there in the whole dining area. Food took awhile and when we finally got it I asked for cheese on my pasta. Again I received attitude. It was the two older waitresses at that time. If you are in the service industry at least try and smile a little.

Recently stopped in on way home from visiting in-laws. Who have been having health issues, so even though it’s covid time, we felt it important to go since they’re in there 90s. So we keep ourselves at home for 2 weeks to make sure we had nothing & then we went to help organize their place for winter. Driving back home i wanted to have dinner in Swiss chalet but since months earlier we had stopped in at Swiss chalet on our way home. That my husband decided we should try something different & we used to love going to east side Mario’s on our way home from visiting my in-laws. But about 10 years ago we went there, i had the spicy Arrabbiata pasta & contracted food poisoning, which is what the hospital told me after several tests. Well, 10 yrs later i go back, i forget to bring my 25$ gift certificate which would probably wouldn’t be accept anyways, that cornwall sent me to say sorry for poisoning u. But it has taken us this long to trust trying them again. Well, i had the same meal except left out the sausage. Being #covid time & having issues with my lungs we were going to eat in our car except nobody was there in the restaurant. Thus we thought it safe to eat at a table. Then in walks two men who sit at the table behind us, they remove their masks and the one starts to cough. So we moved to a table away from them as none of the other tables were being used at that moment. More than 6 feet away. But long comes the waitress & 1st she complains & says there’s nothing to worry about as she’s wearing her mask & so r we. When i explain that the men behind us r not wearing a mask, that plexiglass doesn’t go all the way down or all the way up to their ceiling thus their germs can carry in the air & that we r not 6 feet apart & with me having lung issues i feel more at risk. So she says goes to complain & then finally says okay & drops the issue. Then she brings me my order and there is a hair in it. I point this out to her & she tells me it’s probably my hair. My husband confirms it’s unlikely as i found it & removed it right when it was delivered to the table. So she tells her manager & he comes over to say sorry & offers to give me a new one. I eat the new one. We good home, the next day I’m so, so sick, exactly like last time, even bleeding, except this time with covid I’m unwilling to go to the hospital to have it diagnosis. Never will i eat at east side Mario’s & never if i have to eat there will i eat the spicy arrabbiata pasta as it’s deadly.

No Responsibility: bartender nice, order came quick - never saw another person (no drink refills, no desert, no check-back...). Stood at bar 10 mins try to pay check; had flag down manager. She said "sorry", "shift-change", "bartender/server should have asked for help". I explained servers get swamped; it's the manager's job to keep an eye open. She replied "sorry". Refused to give discount, anything (ie. just leave and don't come back - we don't care). I own business too; things happen but when they do I take responsibility (I give extra product, discount, something). It's called repercussions for your actions; otherwise there's no reason to change.

wife and i have been going out once a week to different restaurants around town and Have not went out to eat at this restaurant in about a year and oh dear did we decided to come at the best time. there was a special where if you bought a meal you can take one home for free! and especially during the pandemic a free lunch for the next day is appreciated! our server was named Kalista and she was very friendly and we even cracked a few jokes throughout our stay which made it very fun. she answered all of our questions and had great ideas on how to change certain dishes for my wifes liking since shes pretty picky. my wife loves the italian wedding soup and our server kept them coming. I had the large spaghetti and i couldnt even finish it it was huge! my wife had the double bacon and onion pasta. overall it was a great stay and perfect place for any family or couple to spend an evening

They've recently reduced their portion sizes to the point where I don't fond this restaurant good value for money. It's a shame as I like the place. I haven't been to East Side Mario's in years, and this was a good reminder of why it's a nice place to eat from time to time. Even better right now thanks to their buy one meal, take one home promotion. Yes, you pay a little bit more than the regular price for the meal, so it's not like the one to take home is free, but it's only a small increase in price and the take home portion is a good size (though not as large as the one they serve in the restaurant).

This is by far the best customer service i ever experienced sunday september 8 around 6pm . All the girls working there were super nice wonderfull service they all get along super well and work as a team. I was suprised to see the manager get her hands dirty make the salades er behind the pizza bar and help out amazing to see a manager do that and i love the way she spoke to her employees its rare to see that no wonder all the employees were smiling ... it starts with great managment !! Very impressed she also was going table to table to ask if everything was ok ... all the girls serving were super sweet even the greater . ESM used to be my fave growing up and for a small town with limited places to sit-down eat, it was our go-to place...but over the years, with the inevitable chain restaurant demand for higher profit margins, I feel this restaurant has gone downhill. The salad, which I used to crave, tastes like the bag it's delivered in...and don't get me started on the obviously misered toppings (2 grape tomatoes, 2 black olives, 2 rings of onions, etc), and on this occasion even the croutons were tasteless. I just don't know that I can justify the steep prices they charge now with the decrease in quality. They do however, have friendly staff, a great patio, and wonderful summer cocktails that I could sip on all day. This place will still satisfy most and I hope you enjoy. I personally will still go now and then to see if the quality has improved, and hopefully one day I'll be impressed that they are going back to their roots and cook real food, not from a bag, freezer or food service.

We decided to go out to eat on a whim after we finished shopping - if I had read the reviews here I would not have picked ESM. Ceasar salad and garden salad were poor - watery iceberg lettuce and stone hard croutins; the lemon & shrimp spaghettini was a bit spicy (not a problem) but had no taste, same for the BYO pasta. And to top it off, the meals are way overpriced for what you get - pretty much $20 and up for almost every dish except sandwiches. Service on the other hand was good - pleasant, efficient and attentive. Won't be back.

If you want pasta that taste mass produced go to east side marios. I tried to give it a couple of chances but nothing. If the food wasnt cold it was blan with no flavor. We had the BYO pastas at $ 14.99 with minestrone soup or salad with the excellent all-you-can-eat bread. $ 33.88 in total with tax and we left a 15% tip on the amount after tax. We opted for the dishes at $ 14.99 with soup or salad included at will. My wife was dissatisfied with her fettuccine alfredo which was too dry. It was like a moton of noodles. She must have asked for more sauce which was slow to arrive. I was extremely satisfied for my part with my baked pene bolo. We ordered two soups and two Caesar salads. The salad lacked freshness. The soup was excellent. My wife was unlucky with her two-word choices. The restaurant was crowded and noisy. This is a family restaurant and the decibels are high, you better be aware, especially on a Saturday at supper time at least. We had to wait about 5 minutes at the entrance which is more than reasonable. The bill was $ 33.88 including tax and we tipped Renée 15%. We add some photos with our opinion. We no longer plan to go back on a Saturday at this time, but we do want to go back. Souper du 23 septembre 2020 avec notre fils qui a pris un rum & coke à $5.60 et fettucine alfredo BOTO à $.18.99 tandis que mon épouse et moi, ce fut chacun fettucine alfredo à l’ail avec poulet à $16.99. Nous avons adoré notre serveuse Rebekah. 10% de rabais avec notre carte CAA. Salade et pain à volonté comme toujours. Nous avons pu profiter de l’incroyable promotion de chacun un plat gratuit pour emporter! Tout fut excellent. Total de $71.02 avec taxes et pourboire de 18% pour trois. Notre troisième visite. Nous y étions venus deux autres fois auparavant soit en 2016, 2017 et en couple hier soir le 2 août 2019. Nous donnons un 4/5 car 2016 fut un 4, 2017, un 3 et 5, pour hier. Nous avons été bien servis par la sympathique Mackenzie. Nous avons pris les BYO pastas à $14.99 avec soupe minestrone où salade avec l’excellent pain à volonté. $33.88 au total avec taxes et nous avons laissé 15% de pourboire sur le montant après taxes. Trois salades incluses comme entrée, 2 BYD pasta promo pour 25.98, 1 PT/Bacon 0.99, 1 BYD 10’’ Pizza promo $10.01, 1 PT/Feta 0.99 pour un total de 42.91 avec taxes pour trois ce qui est passablement raisonnable pour bien manger. Nous avons été convenablement bien servis par Renée qui parlait très bien français. Nous n’avons que le reçu de caisse en photo sur lequel vous pouvez voir la description ci-haut. Je fus extrêmement satisfait pour ma part de mes Pene bolo au four. Nous avons commandé deux soupes et deux salades césar. La salade manquait de fraîcheur. La soupe était excellente. Mon épouse fut malchanceuse avec ses choix en deux mots. Le restaurant était bondé et bruyant. C’est un restaurant familial et les décibels sont intensives vaut mieux vous en aviser surtout un samedi à l’heure du souper du moins. Nous avons dû attendre environ 5 minutes à l’entrée ce qui est plus que raisonnable. L’addition s’éleva à $33.88 avec taxes et nous avons donné 15% de pourboire à Renée. Nous ajoutons quelques photos avec notre avis. Nous n’escomptons plus y retourner un samedi à cette heure mais nous désirons y retourner.
