Visit here often to get pet fish to add to our large tank and supplies/feed for our bearded dragon. There's a wonderful lady named Brittany who knows her stuff and is super attentive to her customers, absolutely love dealing with her when I go there.

Went in to get some guppies and there was none. Plus all the tanks we're rotton and the guy who served us needs to learn some custom service skills. Example: When someone asked a question about something you don't stare off somewhere and not talk back to the customer.

I love this pet store and I love to support local businesses over big box. The staff here are generally helpful and they stock a lot of great products! … If you can get them. My biggest struggle here, is that I often have to resort to going over to pet value to get food for my dogs. This truly bothers me, because I would much rather my money go to western pet. I always buy big country raw meat boxes and side dishes for my dogs. It’s simply the best! The supply here is inconsistent. I am often told it’s due to shipping issues, demand, etc. I only wish that they would sort this out. The programme in place for discounts after 12 boxes of food purchased is also a great perk!

I rarely leave a bad review, but I've experienced such horrible customer service every time I walk in that store. Every employee I've encountered has been rude, entitled, and overly opinionated. I've had a employee refuse to sell a item and there was only one left and they wanted it!!! A employee refuse to sell a friend (Mature, responsible with a degree in animal sciences) a animal because it was a present for their child AND I've prepaid for a small animal and by the time I got there to pick it up it was sold to someone else, and the only response I got was "well... This is why we don't like to have animals paid for in advance" with absolutely no apology or any resolution to the issue- they just walked back to the desk to assist another customer. I was shocked?!?! I've tried to give them chance after chance because I want to support local businesses (despite the higher costs-like almost $12 for a $3 shrimp? ) and realize that young employees are undergoing customer service training- BUT!!! this business really needs to take a step back and see how customers are being treated when they ask for help in store. Having a young man refuse to sell a item because he wants to buy it is definitely not what you'd expect from a pet store.
