I am no big fan of fish and even less of fried fish, but this was by far the BEST fish and chips I have ever ate. The day started nicely with sun and no clouds, but before lunch, the rain was already pouring. Unfortunately the place does not have any covered place to eat but friendly stuff recommended us to go to the brewery pub just next door where we are allowed to bring the food with us. And that is what we did! So we did not only have a delicious food, but next to it we also had very tasty craft beers. I strongly recommend both places!

One of the best fish and chips I've ever had in NL! The fish was so fresh and nice! The tartar sauce was really good too. The girls who served us were really nice and friendly. Something that I would improve is the lighting. It's hard to see stuff in the dark

I would rank this in the top 3 fish n' chips joints in the province. They use local cheese(Five Brothers) in their poutine and the gravy has a delicious flavour that doesn't make everything taste too salty. The batter they use is a delicious hybrid between a traditional & panko style breading. It offers a nice crunch without being overwhelming. They also offer a battered fish burger which has been known to instantly cure hangovers. This place is a must go for anyone visiting the province. Not only do they offer good food they are also located next to a top class local brewery(Quidi Vidi Brewery) that will allow you to take your food inside and enjoy a delicious pint!

What an amazing food truck. These guys hold the best fish and chips on the island. The quality is unmatched by anyone. The tartar they produce is unique and quality. I am happy to recommend this to any locals and tourists during the summer months with a simple request that it be open for the whole year.

A must stop in St. John's is QVFC. We had an awesome lunch of cod and chips, and also the chicken wings. All was outstanding. The one two punch, they let you take your lunch upstairs to Quidi Vidi brewery.

In the running for the best fish and chips in the province. Open during the summer season (usually June through September, maybe first few weeks in October, weather permitting). Don't forget the dressing and gravy. Get it to go and enjoy with a few beer on the wharf of the brewery next door. In a word, deadly.
