Great spot , we loved their mussels ! So yummy. Their fries were very good as well. My daughter enjoyed the pizza it was great. The seafood chowder was not on par with the rest of the meals for our taste. It was more like a soup , and had a more potato then we like in a seafood chowder but honestly everything else was SO good we would most certainly go again !

Beautiful little spot!! Meal was delicious!! We had calamari & bacon wrapped scallops as appetizers. One person had fish & chips with amazing coleslaw. I only wished the coleslaw was bigger. Lol delicious!!! Also one person had deep fried halibut which was also delicious. The meals had a big portion of home made fries which were amazing. Found out no old oil used here. The owner Changes it often. I knew as soon as I walked in . It's a little bar style restaurant but we ate out on the patio , which had an amazing view. This is definitely worth a visit, I know I will be going back!!!

Fantastic Food & Service. One of the best Fish and chips and Seafood chowder ever!!! Authentic Newfoundland feel, loved the music playing in the background, hearing the water and waves hit the beach and the shrieks of the gulls from outside. Awesome!

A hidden gem! This place was a amazing! Had awesome food we loved the small affordable portions of seafood so that we could try everything! We met some great people, and you cannot get any closer to the water. We absolutely loved it!!!

Food was first class. The staff was friendly. The owners were present for a private function, but, still took the time to check on other guests ensuring a pleasant experience. The menu is diverse, and will cater to those who prefer sea food or those who prefer pub grub. Cannot say enough about the food, taste exceeds that of many fine dining restaurants in Ontario. A must visit establishment as it also has a spectacular view.

Nice chill bar along the water. Patio view of the mountains. Friendly staff. Fish and chips were one of best i have ever eaten. Mussels were super fresh and delicious. Great post hike meal.

Ate at Myrtle's today for lunch. First time, typical NL hospitality, food was great, Atmosphere friendly, on the bay, did not eat outside on the deck because of the weather. Fabulous water view.. Ken, the server was a delight, has made his home in Lark Harbour, came from Northern Ireland , plans to stay.. If you are looking for casual, relaxing, atmosphere, that is the place. Was out to Bottle Cove for a drive with my sister Vickiand stopped by this restrauant, people were awesomely friendly and the food was fantastic...I and a half hours from where we live and we are going back next week for the fish and chips.. pizza ,poutine, chicken wings,fried pickles, onion rings and chicken nuggets was excellent. This was a mixed platter and was lots for 2 people.....Unfortunately they didnt have fish when we were there but will have it first week of May....worth visiting and definitely great food,

Best mussels on the planet hands down but the reason I’d go back would be because of the owners. My fiancé and I were in Lark Harbour early July and met the owners and operators on the patio. We had a nice time together and they gave us an incredible recommendation for a short backcountry camping spot that ended up being a highlight of our month long trip in NL. A very special duo that I’m still thinking of with warm thoughts two months later. Thanks guys!

Staying at a nearby Airbnb, and had to come try Myrtle's mussels & cod...both amazing. That broth is perfection! And the hostess was as wonderful as Newfoundland people are famous for. We'll be back!
