Its feels more corporate than a friendly environment, the staff dont know anything you ask half of the time. I personally shop at colmans on caribou road, they have a friendly environment and the staff is wonderful there, and makes you feel happy and you wanna keep returning.

Love all the fresh foods and so many different choices available at this location. The steak selections are great with nice thick steaks and not something that looks like it was faxed in like at the other places in town.

They are quite good. I enjoy the family atmosphere they create although some of the younger check-out staff could do with some pointers on reasonably polite customer service. Recently, however, Coleman's has been discontinuing food items without notice. Barilla pasta for example and also some very tasty pastries - I don't appreciate it and am forced to look elsewhere for those items. Corner Brook is a small community but we still deserve to have the same variety of choice as anyone else living in Canada.

I'm rating this review for customer service. I've been trying to call several times to the customer service department. No one has been answering. The store itself is very nice and the fruits are kept well and not very often do you find moldy/out dated foods. This location is great, but customer service needs to be improved.

9 times out of 10, when I buy tomatoes from this store, I get charged for the wrong kind. And it's usually the highest priced one. Recently, I told the cashier at checkout what kind of tomatoes I bought AND the price, but still I was charged for the wrong kind: the more expensive brand. Not all tomatoes have code stickers and the checkout is not sufficiently knowledgeable. That's my main peeve.

Always have fresh produce and great prices on meat. Also I love how you don't have to buy the total sale amount to get the sale price. For example 3 for 5$ and you can get 1 for $1.66.

Great experience today, even with being so close to Christmas. I have my grocery list on my cell phone, and realized it was dying on me, so we went to the little deli diner they have there after shopping and plugged in my phone while we enjoyed a sandwich and some taters. Sorry, no photos.

This is my grocery store of choice. They don't have a "store brand", so products may be a little more expensive than other places, but I'm okay with that since they have great service, great atmosphere, and short checkout lines. These things make a huge difference in the shopping experience.

if i could give this location a 10/10 i would its got style and class and flare... its made out of my childhood skating rink. they have amazing pre-made food here. there bakery is to die for. and soo much produce. there meat section is huge and plenty of new choices and sales happen often! connected is a lawtons and a liqueur store what more could u want? now if only the amusement rides where still there in summer on the parking lot that would be fantastic!

This is a great grocery store.. I ordered flowers for a funeral and they called twice to confirm the message on the card wanting to make sure rht everything was correct as I was ordering from out of province. So personable and professional. The flowers and arrangement were beautiful.

Great place to shop for groceries, brightly lit, good energy buzz feel, friendly & helpful staff, lots of parking, plenty of carts for customers. Love their floral dept, always fresh and ready to go. Lots to choose from from the deli...hot or cold. Awesome salad bar. Excellent bakery with a wide range to choose from. Love the produce area...plenty of variety for healthy choices. Would really like to see a bigger selection of ready made sushi combos to go, more fish type sushi, but this wouldn't stop me from remaining a loyal customer. My favorite place to shop for groceries!

Customer service is is great and the checkouts are fast. The best place in corner brook to get fresh vegetables and fruit. This Coleman's also has an overlooked British imported food section near their bread racks. The store is kept very clean and the shelves are stocked neatly which makes shopping both easy and enjoyable.

The produce here is always fresh and affordable. Good meat variety. Excellent in-house made sausages. All of the dry and frozen goods are rather pricey. Love the plastic bag offer to pay the customer $.05 per every recycled bag brought.

While we have all heard of the kindness and generosity of Newfoundlanders not all have experienced it first hand. I am originally from Corner Brook but left there in 1980 but my 80 year old mother still lives there alone in Pasadena. I wanted to send my mother some flowers for Mother's Day and since she just lost her Sister and sister's husband both to Covid-19 in less than a week ( just this past week ) I thought the flowers might cheer her up a little. Upon calling to order, I spoke with Customer Service (Yvette Snow ). She I formed me that the flower Dept was already swamped with about 100 orders first thing Thursday morning and she would place my number with the flower Dept but there was no guarantee that they would be able to call me back that day as they were so busy. I explained my situation regarding my mother and the family loss and how important this was to me as well as my mother. Well I soon learned how nice of a lady I was dealing with. Her warm and understanding friendliness made me smile and we both laughed a little when I told her she sounded like an awesome lady. When she heard the whole story of our loss, this complete stranger then offered to hand deliver on her own time the flowers to my mother on her way home from work. She even went as far as to get a photo of my mother holding her flowers and sent the photo along via text to my girlfriend. To say this was an act of kindness is an understatement! Thank you so much Yvette for helping out a total stranger, you helped lift our spirits . I wish there were more folks in this world just like you. Newfoundlander's are the best. Best regards GT.

Colemans group of companies has it all figured out! Every year they have their magical Sunday, which myself, my husband and three boys enjoy! The boys always look forward to entertainment and of course the food samples ????‍♀️Myself and Dave attended this past Sunday, November 17, 2019 And It was and always will be my favourite Xmas shopping day of the year!????Firstly I have to congratulate you guys on such a fantastic staff! ???????? I think I may have asked for help about a dozen times with all the hustle and bustle of the crowd and ALL of your staff was so accommodating and so incredibly pleasant! It looks like they enjoy the tradition just as much as your customers!☺️And I feel like those simple words don’t quite express how Strongly I feel! Your food quality and quantity never disappoint! I feel like it’s my one stop shop with the liquor store handy in case mom wants a glass of wine with a nice steak! And A cold beer for the hubby!????. Coleman’s!!!
