This very small local grocery sells traditional Newfoundland "hard bread" or hardtack. They also make freshly baked white, wheat, and raisin breads a few days per week. The wheat bread is especially delicious. They are also licensed to sell beer-- just don't ask to buy it on credit! :)

Tiny local store, with bakery sort of tucked into the back room. Non-obvious as you stand in the store part. Fresh basic bread. Lovely little cinnamon rolls. Enjoyed.

This is the cutest store! It's an old fashioned store with a little bit of everything. I was there twice while on vacation and the same man served us. He was lovely!
