Great Small Movie Theater. I wish it had more screens, but if 2 is all the market supports, then I'd rather have them successfully stay open, than struggle with a larger venue.

It is a small theater with 2 screens. The staff are decent and the quality of food and service are typical of the cineplex experience. There is an automated teller for tickets or they can be purchased at the concession. The quality of film choices vary as there are only 2 screens, so the theater tends to favor children's films and big blockbuster names like Disney over more avant-garde selections.

I realize this is a small area in Canada but to have to pay the same price on tickets as we had to in Calgary for a screen 1/10th the size and a theatre without surround sound, is ludacris. Not to mention the tiny concession area and terrible seat layout with seats in front HIGHER than seats in the middle.

It's the only movie theatre in town, and they know it and don't care. The film selection is often pathetic, the walls between cinemas are so thin you can often hear next doors film over your own. The staff are usually really good though, its just that the facilities have been allowed to decay and nobody cares to maintain or update it, content to just let it rot until it stops making them money. Sad really.

It was good get back to watch a movie in theaters again. If you feel nervous with this Coronavirus, when you book your seat online they won't allow anyone to sit next to you. For me I think it's time to get back to normal and get rid of all of this stuff.

This is not the best movie theatre in the world, no question about that. There are some scathing reviews for it on other sites, but you know what? They're making due with what they have. Prices and movie availability is set by corporate, and local management has no say in it. Concessions are how theatres make money, because the studios that made the movie take a huge portion of ticket sales. Cineplex hasn't owned this theatre for very long, so other improvements will likely be made in time. At least we have 3D movies now, so sit back and enjoy!

sound system is pretty good. the screen is clear. staff is rude tho. went to get a bottle of water after the movie started and they were closed and just sapped at me. they talked about a customer right in front of them calling them stupid.

I watch the Christopher Robin movie and there was a delay at least 10 to 15 minute having trouble with the movie but all in all good place

Tiny, 2-screen movie theater. They play 90% children's movies and do not rotate the movies more than once every 3 weeks (two movies at a time). You can hear every word from the theater beside you, the seats are uncomfortable, the screens are small, the manager is rude and unfriendly. Worst theater I have ever been to. I go about once a year if something comes that I actually want to see, and that's only because I have no other option. Would not recommend.

After 24 years they havent made any significant changes to the theater to make it a more enjoyable experience. They cut the screen in half with the curtains when the movie starts, you can hear the other movie playing next door, the selection is usually poor, the 3d is godawful the seats arent comfortable, etc. I was away from the theater for 4 months and came back to see that the SAME butter dispensing machine was still broken. There needs to be money invested into this place seeming its the only place we can see a movie on the 'big' screen.

Myself and my wife have gone here for about 4-5 movies over the past year. Twice there were issues with the movie playing, maybe just bad luck on the days we went. On opening day of the latest Star Trek, they forgot to start the movie. Seems they didn't realize the first set of previews were over. Minor issues :).

Movies often stay for waaaaaay too long, or just one week. With only two screens, it sucks when The Secret Life of Pets stays for 6 weeks in a row and we miss bigger movies because of it.

Overall a classic movie theater. Slow consessions sticky floors. Small screen there was a slash in the middle of number 2 theater screen . Bothered me the entire time. Seats where totally uncomfortable and low. Friendly helpful staff but overall a letdown. I'd hoped in 20 years the place would of changed . If u like classic movie experance great but the inflated prices for the old movie house experance paying for the big movie house not worth it.

Movie selection is terrible! For a small populated city they keep some movies way to long here and so we miss allot of the good movies. They put little to none into improving this theatre in any sense! Soon boycotting altogether..

The theater needs to be replaced with one that is up to date. The washrooms here are from the 50's the screens are small, the sound from one movie bleeds through the wall to the other. There is no sign outside to tell you what is playing. In summary this theater is a joke.

It was nice when you were able to drive and see what was showing, but someone decided to replace the sign? Now I have no idea what's playing and never think of looking up what's showing. Whereas before I'd see something playing and it would make me think of going to the movies and seeing it. Now, now I can't remember the last time I went to the theatre. For the 5 minutes it probably took some teen to change the letters on the sign, it seems like a big loss.

This theatre is old and out of style. The seats are uncomfortable. The sound system is subpar. Not to mention it is disorganized. Tickets can be purchased at the kiosk at the top of the stairs or at the concession counter... if it's busy, they're not paying attention to what is going on around them. Sadly, I believe you could just walk on to a theatre and sit down without even buying a ticket: don't think anyone would notice.

For people who come from a larger city, they would probably find it underwhelming. Only two movies shown at a time since there's only 2 theater rooms, and snack choices are more limited due to not having the room for a lot of cooking gear. But it's a charming little theater, the staff are friendly, and I enjoy going to the movies there every time.

Tiny, outdated movie theater with only two screens. You can usually hear the other movie playing from your movie, which as you can guess is quite annoying. Small screens to boot, few seats, unknowledgeable manager. Terrible movie turn-over time, sometimes a movie will stay for 3 weeks+, and the movies are 90% of the time kids movies. Adults enjoy going to the movies as well. Looking forward to the newest thriller or horror movie? No chance of it coming to Corner Brook. The last horror movie I saw here was the 1st Insidious movie 6 years ago. Absolutely pathetic. I'd say we get 1/10th of the new movies, if that. Completely catered to children and pre-teens. As a young adult in their mid-twenties, I haven't been to the movies in years due to our less than adequate movie theater. Not sure how they manage to stay in business.

Only movie theatre in Corner Brook currently. It has 2 small screens and does offer 3D viewing. The location is in need of a major makeover. Seating in theatre 1 is way too spaced and the screens are way to small. Sound bleeds through the walls and can sometimes ruin the enjoyment of the movie you are trying to watch.
