Ambiance is nice and resides adjacent to the lobby of the Retro Hotel. Food is really pricey. Prime rib was $44 aged 40 plus days. We are talking about Chatham Kent and not one of the big Canadian cities. Seafood linguine was in the mid twenties.

Honestly one of the most impressive salads I've ever had. The toppings are evenly distributed throughout and the dressing is perfectly proportioned so it doesn't pool at the bottom. Most restaurants phone it in when it comes to salads, but this was thoroughly thought out. You won't be disappointed.

Celebrated our anniversary at the Chilled Cork last night. I had the ravioli with smoked mozzarella filling, it was outstanding. My husband had the prime rib, which I will definitely have next time. The service was also excellent.

We ate here almost every day for 2 months while living in the retro suites. The food is incredible! The lunch specials are great quality for such a reasonable price. The date night/ girls night specials are a high quality dining experience at a fraction of the price. The staff was always so friendly and helpful. We definitely missed them when we moved out. Whether breakfast, lunch or dinner, I highly highly recommend!

The lunch meal I had was of gormet quality at a fast food take out price of under $12 CAD. The server I had was in training, her first day actually, but you would have never known or suppected that was the case, as she served my table like a seasoned vetran server of a 5 star restaurant. Great Atmosphere. It is not a place for a rushed meal. The food had a nice presentation.I ordered a Filet Mignon that was very under cooked to what I had requested but I did not have the time to wait for this to be corrected. The wait staff were friendly but it was a longer than normal wait for service. I have eaten there several times in the past there is inconsistancy in Service and the Meal Preperation. It was a Monday evening so maybe a A team was not working that day.

A great disappointment. I went because of the rave reviews but I think they aren't as objective as they should be. While this is the best restaurant in the area, as a whole it's absolutely mediocre at best and completely overpriced. I paid 65 dollars for a steak that I asked medium rare but found to be completely underdone. Absolutely raw at the centre, not pink, RAW. A baked potato that felt old and stale. The only reason the place gets 3 stars over 1 or 2 is because the creme brûlée dessert was phenomenal, and the service was good.

Our first and last visit to the chilled Cork was a sad experence. 4 of us 3 were disappointed. Cold food , messed up orders , Tuff Steak . Dry under cooks Veg. These were 48.00 platted meals, so not reaal cheap. There was a wedding going on so maybe yhat was the problem. Not a evening to remember. Sad !

Amazing experience here during busy Sunday brunch hours. We brought friends from out of town and they were all pleased with their portions, food quality, and service. Shane went above and beyond to check in about some dietary restrictions from a member in our group, the food came quickly, and our coffees were kept warm and topped up :) I have been to Chilled Cork many times and always am happy with the food and service - it's especially great though when hosting guests out of town to have a perfect dining experience!

An hour later and my mouth is still savouring the lingering afterglow of my dinner at Chilled Cork. I had the mixed mushroom ravioli with a creamy truffle sauce. My husband had perch with truffle parm fries. The cream sauce was delicious and not too heavy and a generous serving size. The perch was lightly breaded. My husband had the Guinness cheddar soup as an entree. Nice and cheesy with a malted finish at the back of the pallate. I had a calamari appetizer, again lightly breaded and generous portions. Our waiter was charming and quick, attentive but not hovering. We have been here before and enjoyed it and the Chilled Cork did not disappoint.
